Avni and Neil were driving through the roads of Amritsar laughing and telling each other the funny incident about their school and college life..

Avni : where are we going..??

Neil : we still have time for lunch so maybe just roam around..

Avni : are we going for lunch together..

Neil : yeah.. he shrugged off his shoulder.. while she kept looking at him..

Neil : Avnii.. you're distracting me again..

Avni : umm.. I'm.. I'm not staring at you..

Neil : I didn't say that you're staring at me... Are you??... A smirk made his way on his face...

Avni : Huh..!! whatever.. she said and look out of the window...

Neil : Avni, did you paint your cheeks.. why are they soo red..

Avni : They're not.. you keep driving.. she said rubbing her cheeks..

Neil : But your cheeks are red...

Avni : Neilll.. just stop already.. she said glaring at him trying to cover her blush.. he chuckled at her cute behaviour..

After eating their lunch they are again back in the car going to Babaji knows where..

Avni : The way you're driving on the street without knowing to where, I can assume that you like wandering around..

Neil : I'm quite surprised, you observe me that much.. I didn't know that..

Avni : I'm not interested in observing you.. Anyone can say that if they're with you... Now can you tell me to where exactly we are going...

Neil : i don't know.. he shrugged his shoulder..

Avni : Do you even know where we are.. she asked looking horrified... she looked around to see the only trees either side of them..

Avni : Say something idiot..

Neil : I don't know..

Avni : Neeeiilllll... she said and smack his hand...

Neil : calm down Junglee billi... we're going to the beach..

Avni : Beach.. from here..

Neil : yupp.. Now shut up before I leave you alone in the mid of this beautiful heaven..

Avni : you're mean.. meanie idiot..

Neil : Am I.. he said lifting his both eyebrows giving her a smug look..

Avni : look ahead.. I want to go back to my house in one piece...

Neil : whatever..,

Avni : it's not whatever... I want to go back without a single scratch on me..

Neil : can't promise... he said looking ahead pissing her off..

Avni : Neill.,, I'll kill you If I get a single scratch..and I mean it..

Neil : Ohh.. I'm scared..

Avni : you know what.. just rot in hell..

Neil : with pleasure.. he said changing the gear..

She rolled her eyes and and switch on the music player... Neil look at her and thought to irritate her, so he switch off the player...

Avni : why did you do that..??
Neil shrugged his shoulder in response..

Avni again turn on the palyer which was again turn off by him.. this continue for like nine to ten times. It come to stop only when Neil phone rangs.. Avni thought to take her revenge so she increased the volume of the music player...

Neil glared at her and turn the volume down but Avni again increased it ignoring his glare.. Neil cuts the call after saying he'll call back later to whoever was on the other side..

Neil : what was that..?? He asked narrowing his eyes..

Avni : I don't know... she shrugged off her shoulder.. just like he did before...

Neil look at her for few more sec with same expression and then stop the car abruptly..

Avni : why did you stop the car..

Neil : I don't know...
Avni closed her eyes frustratedly..

Avni : will you stop with your 'I don't know'..

Neil : I don't kn-.. he stopped when his arm get a hard smacked..

Neil : oww... Junglee billi..

Avni : ohh so now you remember words other than I don't know.. huh..

Neil : yess i know..

Avni : Now start the car..

Neil : i don't want to..

Avni : Whyy?... she said with narrowed eyes...

Neil : I have a meeting..

Avni : Meeting.. here.. she asked with wide eyes...

Neil : yess... with beautiful chudail and gorgeous bhootni.. he said with soo much excitement..

Avni : wh.. what... Neil.. stop playing with me..

Neil : why will I play with you.. that to in this dense forest.. Avni   look around to see big trees on both sides covering the sky.. not a single space was left to see the sky..

Avni : Nei..Neill.. please.. let's go from here...

Neil : because... I have a meeting.. that's why..

Avni : bu.. but you said.. we.. we're going to the beach... she clutched the seatbelt in a tight grip when the leaves of the trees shake because of bird actions..

Avni : Nei.. Neiill please.. let's go.. beach will be closed.. pls.. pls.. pls..

Neil put his hand on his mouth to prevent the laugh... there she was sitting the brave Avni Malhotra..

Neil : No.. it's a very important meeting..

Avni : Can't it wait.. she said looking at him with hopeful eyes..

Neil : No.. he said with a serious look..
Unlocking his seatbelt he went out and lean against the the car hood..

Avni : Neill.. please let's go from here.. Getting out of the car she repeat the same thing for the umpteenth time..

Neil : Avnii.. I have a really important neeting with them..

Avni : But.. wh.at meeting.. you have with them ..and why they will agree to meet you.. she said while shuttering..

Neil : I want some unique face for my new product so they are helping me and as I'm a Monster, they will meet me.. he said sounding as seriously as he could..

Avni : Wha.. before she could say something the trees started shaking vigorously making her jump in fear..

She step back in fear searching for Neil looking at the shaking trees... Neil shut his lips tightly to prevent any sound coming from his mouth... She bumped into him and screamed before she realised it's him..  Her back hit his chest and she hold his arm tightly..

Avni : What..is happe..ning..??

Neil : I think they come to know about our arrival.. they'll be here soon... he said making her grip tight on his arm..

Avni : Neill.. Hum.. jaate haina yanha se.. please.. tum meeting baad me karlena.. Abhi chalo..

Neil : Okay..but first repeat what I say.. he said holding her shoulder..

Avni : why..?? Kya yeh zaroori hai.. I can repeat whatever you want to say in car.. but lets go from here..

Neil : yes.. it's important.. or else they'll be here in a minute..

Avni : No.. please say fast..

Neil : Okay.. let's start..

Avni : okay let's start.. she repeat making him chuckle..

Neil : I've not even started..

Neil couldn't control it anymore and burst out into a laugh leaning against his car hood holding his stomach..

Neil : Jun..Junglee billii.. that was hilarious.. you.. he again burst into laughs...

Avni glared at him and punched him in his stomach, arm, chest.. but he keep laughing at her making her more furious at him...

He actually gave her a heart attack.. that idiot prick knows how much she is scared of these things but still play with her..

Avni was constantly smacking him punching him but he didn't stop his laugh which infuriates her..so she pinched him hard.. harder than she pinched him before.. she first pinched his arm but it didn't do much other than making him shriek in pain so she pinched his wrist...

Neil : Aaahhhhh!!!.. Junglee billi are you out of your mind.. he said rubbing his wrist..

Avni : Yess.. I am.. she said glaring at him... you idiot, how dare you to play with me like that.. do you even know how much I got scared back there..

Neil : so who told you to irritate me when I'm on call.. huh!!.

Avni : you took revenge for that..?? She asked mouth slightly opened.. Neil shrugged his shoulder and again concentrate on his wrist..

A minute later Neil was running around the car with Avni behind him with a plastic bottle in her hand which she fortunately found in his car..

Neil : Areey.. Junglee billi I was just messing around..

Avni : Messing around huh!!.. You gave me almost a heart attack.. she said catching her breath..

Neil : But you are still alive, Avni..
Avni gave him a hard glare..

Avni : you want me to die.. Huh!!..

Neil : I didn't say that.. he said innocently..

Avni : yeahh!!.. but you mean that. You just wait till I get my hands on your hairs..

Neil : Noo.. annd again they started circling around the car..

3 minites later, Neil was standing beside the passenger seat door while Avni was at the driving seat door.. Both were panting heavily due to all the running..

Neil : Avni.. time please.. he said panting hard..

Avni : yeahh.!!. let's take a break.. she said and came infront of the car and lean against the hood..

Avni : Water.. she said looking at the bottle which has no drop left..

Neil : Mee too.. he said coming beside her..

Avni : No water left.. she said showing him the bottle... They both stand there for few minutes forgetting that they are in the middle of the deserted road and it was already evening..

Neil : it was an important meeting, Avni...

Avni : huh!!.. She looked at him with narrowed eyes for few seconds but then burst out into laugh.. her laugh was so contagious that Neil too followed her.. Both were laughing like a maniac in the deserted road..Their laughing time was interrupted by a phone ring which was again Neil's..

Neil look at the caller Id and cut the call.. Realising that it was almost 4:40 they both decide to live this beautiful heaven ofcourse after bickering alot..

After riding for almost an hour they were at beach now... Avni gave Neil 'Are you serious' look.. the beach they are standing right now is hardly half an hour ride from her house..

Neil : Whatt.. I already told you that i was having an important meeting there.. don't give me that look now..

Avni : you've lost it.. seriously..

Neil : But you too agree to it that it was soo much fun. Right..

Avni : Yeahh!!. giving me heart attack was fun for you..

Neil : Ohh come on Junglee billi.. you didn't even meet the beautiful chudail and gorgeous bhootni..

Avni : I don't want to meet them.. never ever in my life..

Neil : that means you're not going to see mirror for the rest of your life... he said and in next second run away from there...

Avni and Neil were walking around the shore talking aimlessly....From their school to college.. from childhood till now.. they talked about anything and everything..

They were talking when Neil phone rang..He cuts the call..

Avni : Neil, may I ask why are you cutting your call again and again..??

Neil : Good question.. but wait for 2 more minutes it wil rang again... he said making her confused..

As Neil said his phone did rung in 2 minutes.. Neil again cuts the call..

Avni : okay.. now it's hell confusing... why are you not picking up your phone... is it from your Ex..??

Neil : What..?? I don't have any Ex..

Avni : haww.. you're still in relationship..?? She said covering her mouth with one hand..

Neil : Wha.. Noo.. I'm not.. I was single and I'm single.. I never had a girlfriend in my life..

Avni : ohh please.. don't lie now.. I know you have.. or had..

Neil : I'm not lying.. I never had one..

Avni : you're lying...

Neil : I'm not..

Avni : you are..

Neil : I'm not..

Avni : you are.. and stop lying..

Neil : okay fine.. you know my girlfriend.. right?? He asked placing his hands on his waist..

Avni : yess.. she said mimicking his action..

Neil : soo kindly tell about my 'Imaginary girlfriend'..

Avni : Ofcourse..why not.. she is a bitch... she said gritting her teeth..

Neil : ohhh really..

Avni : yess.. and now don't pretend..

Neil : No.. Why would I pretend.. i just got to know that I have or had a girlfriend.. and the best part is I don't know how she looks.. he said with sarcasm dripping in his voice..

Avni : Neeiill... stop already you know Soniya very well so just stop lying..

Neil : wait... Soniya... as in that Soniya..

Avni : Yess.. that Soniya only.. your girlfriend Soniya.. who was soo possessive about you.. possessive bitch..

Neil look at her with his mouth wide open before brusting out into laugh...
God.. soo much laughing today..

Avni : Now why are you laughing..

Neil : you.. you really thought that Soniya.. as.. as my girlfriend.. he sat on the sand while  laughing..

Avni : it's not joke that you're laughing like that...

Neil : Ohh.. trust me Avni it is..

Avni : Neill..  she whined seeing him laughing..

Neil : Avni.. you're seriously something else.. Soniya was not my girlfriend.. I seriously never had a girlfriend..

Avni : Accha.. then About whom bro was talking...

Neil : when did he talk.. or what he talk.. he asked confusingly..

Avni : Kunj Bhai's wedding shopping... you saved me from that goon in the Restaurant.. after that Bro was talking about how you couldn't stay away from your girlfriend.. she said wriggling her eyebrows making him remember that incident...

Neil : Ohhh that.... he laugh again and continue... that day Abeer was talking about my Office.. He consider my office as my girlfriend because I spent most of my time there.. soo..

Avni : Oooo..

Neil : yess.. oooo.. but seriously Soniya..

Avni : heyy.. you can't blame me.. the way she was talking to me in the wedding like she has some rights on you, anyone can assume that only.. she shrugged off casually not showing her embarrassment and sat beside him on the sand looking forward at the calm water and the sky with the setting sun..

Neil : that was an epic one.. really.. Soniya.. I mean I would rather be single all my life than dating her..

Avni : she was behaving like that.. i can't help it.. she again shrugged it off.. Neil shook his head chuckling..

Starring ahead at the calm water they sat in the silence for some time..

Neil : I never had a girlfriend in my life.. he said breaking the silence still staring ahead..

Avni : Me too.. Avni look at him and with small smile playing in her lips she said..

Neil : what.. you also want a Girlfriend.. he said with an amused smile..

Avni : Very Funny.. she said smacking his arm lightly.. this time lightly..

He laugh at her but his laugh broke down due to his phone..

Neil : Ufff.. won't let me stay in peace.. he said now switching off his phone..

Avni : why are you ignoring it..

Before he could say something his another phone start ringing..

Avni : you've two phones..

Neil : yeah.. one for business.. and the other one was personal..

Avni : Ohh..
Neil took out his other phone which was his business phone and answer the call.. but the moment he answered the next moment he took the phone away feom his ear cloaing his eyes tightly..

Neil : Stella how many times I have told you not to give my Business Number to random people.. huh!! Take care of that next time now byee.. saying so he cut the call hurriedly..

Avni : who was that..
He chuckled and say..

Neil : Zach.. Zachary Rodríguez..
