It's been 5 days to their Vacation... they enjoyed alot.. they visit many places nearby.. temples.. forts.. lakes.. gardens.. local market.. etc..

Today they all decide to take rest and there was Engagement function also.. so they have to prepare for it...

All were sitting in the backyard of the farm... Avni was too silent from morning and was sitting at a distance quit away from everyone...

Mehbeer tries to cheer her but it went in vain... Neil from Morning didn't come out of his room.. as he has some important Meeting to attend and he was video calling his client...

After completion of his work.. he finally come out of his room... he was going to the backyard where everyone was present but he spot Avni from the window sitting quietly under the tree looking somewhat sad.. he frown and decide to talk to her... he came out and greet everyone... and then he decide to talk to Avni so he was going to her.. when Abeer stops him..

Abeer : Neil.. where are you going..??

Neil : to Junglee billi.. she was looking sad.. did something happen..?? He asked worryingly..

Abeer : No... nothing happen.. but please don't go to her.. let her be alone for sometime... she need it.. and he sighs..

Neil : Abeer is everything okay..??

Abeer : yeah... everything is fine.. just don't tease her today.. Neil nodded his head.. Abeer then went away...

All day he notice Avni was sad and silent and lost in her thoughts... she even eat very little... she sat on the chair near the window and stare at the sky all the time....he tries to ask Abeer but he just change the topic...
It's almost evening and Bebe told that they are going to have evening snacks and tea in the garden...

They all settled in the garden and have their tea and snacks with light conversation... Avni was still silent and just stare at the wall.. when someone ask her something she either gave little answer or just nodded her head...after some time she get up and went to sit on the ground little far...

Neil wanted to know what happened to her... Abeer and Neela ma tried to talk to her but she just gave them sad smiles... he was noticing her from morning... Also Abeer and Neela ma was sad too... he wanted ask some one what's the matter... but don't know to whom he ask...
Then he notice Meher and thought to talk to her... she was going inside.. he too silently follow them.. she went to the kitchen... he too come there..

Neil : Meher..

Meher : Bhai you here.. you need something.. He shook his head...

Neil : unm.. Meher do you know what happened to Avni..?? She was quit from Morning.. Meher sighs and smile sadly..

Meher : she is missing some one..

Neil : who??.. and look at her in confusion..

Meher : Pops.. Neil creased his eyebrows...

Meher : Abeer and Avni's dad.. they used to call him Pops.. and today is his birthday.. so she miss him.. particularly this day...she sighs sadly..

Neil become sad too.. he had never seen or heard anything about her dad.. not even from Abeer... Meher continues...

Meher : Abeer and Neela ma try to cheer her up.. but.. and look down.. she was very close to her father.. she was his princess.. and after he left Abeer tries his best to treat her as a princess only... and I'm very proud of him.. he took really good care of both Avni and Neela ma.. Neil smiles and he too felt very happy to hear praising of his bestfriend...

Meher : that's why Abeer told you not to disturb her today.. and don't worry she will be fine by Tomorrow.. and left the kitchen...

Neil was still in the kitchen thinking about Avni.. he look at her through kitchen window.. she look really sad.. And he wanted to do Something.. to bring atleast a smile on her face... he was thinking what to do when an idea comes to his mind...

All were sitting in the garden talking lightly... when they suddenly hear some music...

Neil comes there with his guitar and playing it... his eyes were on Avni who was looking at him with creased eyebrows... he found it very cute... he starts to sing..

He slowly walks forward and stop in front of Neela ma... he sat down on his knee..

He took Neela ma's hand and make her stand up from her place and twirl her around making her smile...

All smiles looking at Neil and Neela ma... Neil then one by one drag everyone to the centre... He gesture Abeer something and he quickly nodded him... Abeer then went to Avni and drag her to where everyone was... Neil look at Avni and sings...

Hairaan main bhi hoon...

He came to Avni and hit her with his shoulder and continue...

Avni look at him with narrowed eyes but his next word made her smile a little...

Avni smiles fully at the end causing Neil to grin from ear to ear...

All claps for him and praises him...
Neela ma came and thank him.. but he hold her hand and make her sit on the chair again kneel down in front of her...

Neil : Neela ma... um.. me aapko Neela ma bula sakta hun na.. she nodded her head with a bright smile making him smile also.. he continue..

Neil : So.. Neela ma you don't need to thank me... since the time i came here you're always happy and make everyone happy... take care of everyone... and the smile of yours is the best thing...so how can i see you sad... you treat Meher as you own daughter.. and you scold Abeer if he annoy her... then how can i let go the most precious smile of your... and you treat me like a son also.. and a son can't see her mother sad.. right.. Neela ma nodded her head with tearful smile... all were looking at them.. Neil wipe away her tears and continue..

Neil : You won't look good while crying.. so no tears from now on.. And Neela ma now you are going to become a saas.. i think we should team up against your bahu.. she irritate alot with her constant blabbering what you think?? And smiles sheepishly making Neela ma laugh..

Meher : Bhaii.. how rude..?? She pouted... Abeer side hug her and say..

Abeer : don't worry... I'll keep you safe away from both of them..

Avni : yeah if it possible Bro tumhe room se bahar hi aane na de.. She tease... making them blush..

Neil : wow... Junglee billi... Hi-fi.. he stand up and did hifi with her.. She then realized what he call her..

Avni : you again call me that... and smacks his hand..

Neil : aarghhh!! stop hitting me.. will you..??

Avni : then stop calling me that.. will you.??

Neil : Never... and smile idioticaly..

Avni : then Never from my side too..
And glare at him...

Neil : well.. your punishment is still remain unfulfilled.. don't forget.. he whispers coming close to her..

Avni eyes widened and cheeks get tainted with a slight red colour.... she look aroung to see everyone was busy chit-chattingamong themselves...she look at him again and bite her inner cheek to control her blush... he was waiting for her reply but Meher comes there...

Abeer was sitting with Neela ma talking to her...

Neela ma : you're right Abeer.. Neil is the one...

Abeer : i told you he's best for our princess...

Neela ma : indeed he is.. and look towrads Avneil... Neil Avni was talking to Meher.. he's hand was around Meher's shoulder and he said something to which both of them laugh.. Abeer and Neela ma smile seeing them laughing...

After dinner Neil plan to celebrate Avni's Pops birthday so he and Abeer bring a cake.. Avni get emotional but all cheers her and made her cut the cake... she pull Abeer with her and both of them cut the cake and feed everyone... after more talking and fun moments all retire to their rooms...

Avni went to the terrace and look at the sky remembering her moment with her Pops...
Neil too came to the terrace for fresh air as he wasn't getting any sleep..

He notice Avni leaning against the railing... she slightly shivers when cool breeze hit her... she didn't even wear something warm.. He walks towards her and place his jacket on her from behind...

Avni turned around and smiles slightly.. her glittery eyes shows that she cried...

Neil : missing him..

Avni : i miss him everyday... but today i miss him more... a tear escape feom her eyes.. birthdays are like our thing.. we get excited too much for the birthdays not just of us but of everyone... Neela ma and Bro never get as excited as we both... we used to prepare everything together for birthday... but now doing everything without him.. it's... it.. it's jus... she looked down not able to complete her sentence...

Neil came forward and cupped her face with one hand and wipe off her tears...

Neil : do you think your Pops want to see tears in your eyes remembering him.. huh??
She shook his head..

Neil : then.. stop crying... your Pops won't like to see tears in his princess eyes.. and again wipe the tears which flows down...

They stood there for sometime making small conversation here and there... Avni telling him about her moments with her Pops... Abeer and her mischief which they used to do to annoy Neela ma... they shared alot of their childhood memories...

Neil : i think now we should be heading back... we have to do packing too tomorrow... Avni makes faces hearing that...
Neil chuckles..

Neil : hmm.. don't like to pack right..?? She nodded her head..

Avni : it's  not that i don't like it... it's just boring... Neela ma and Bro used to help me everytime with that.. but this time i think i have to do it alone as Bro clearly told me not to help me next time.. because he think that i throw tantrums while packing...and scrunched her nose... Neil laugh heartily...

Neil : well then we can do one thing...

Avni : what..

Neil : want to go out for breakfast tomorrow..??

Avni : but i didn't pack a single thing..

Neil : well we'll tell Abeer to do it... as a repay to what we did for him to spend quality time with Meher many times....

Avni : sounds great... plan on..

Neil : plan on.. then.. now come on let's go...
They both headed back towrads their room... their rooms are at the same floor.. Avni's room was second while Neil's was the fourth..

As they reached Avni's room...

Neil : Good Night..
She nodded her head.. he turn his way to go to his room when Avni hold his wrist to make him stop.. He turn around..

Avni : Thank you.. she said with a beautiful smile..  she take steps towards him and wrap her hands around his waist hugging him...

Neil become still for a sec when she hugged him but soon come to his sense and wrap his hands around her.. one hand on her back while the other one on her head... he patted her head lightly..

She realised what she did and parted away..and with a blush she wish him good night and went to her room hurriedly...
Neil smiles and and run his hand on his hairs and went to his room with a goofy smile playing on his lips...

Next morning as planned by Avneil they somehow trapped Abeer to pack Avni's bag and went out for the breakfast...

Soon they came back as usual bickering about something... but as soon as they reached living room they feel tension in the air... Bebe and Neela ma were sitting on the chairs while Shweta and Prakash were on the couch and Abeer and Meher opposite to them on the couch... Abeer was consoling a sobbing Meher.. As soon as Avni saw Meher crying she run in her direction and sat next to her...

Neil : Dad.. Mom.. what happen..?? He asked worryingly.. and why is Meher crying??

Prakash : Neil.. our booking for the Engagement hall got cancelled...

Neil : what..!! How...

Prakash : they said that they have to cancel all the booking for emergency construction...

Neil : what the... how can they do this....Meher started crying even more...

Neil went to her and kneel down in front of her and wipe away her tears...

Neil : Meher stop crying baba...

Meher : it's my Engagement Bhai.. she said while sobbing...

Neil : i know.. I'll take care of it... but you dont cry...

Meher : par Bhai... Engagement is tomorrow...

Bebe : Neil puttar wo sahi keh rahi hai... kal sagai hai or itni jaldi hum kaya karenge...
Neil starts to think about what to do..

Neil : um.. what time exactly Engagement is going to start...

Shweta : 6:00 pm... why..??

Neil : perfect.. it's 12:00 pm.. means we have more than 24 hours...

Bebe : what perfect... we don't have any place to do the Engagement...

Neil : Bebeee... aap kyun bhool jaati ho ki aapke handsome husband ka ek bada sa farmhouse bhi hai..??. He said with a big smile...

It took all of them a little time to understand what he wants to say...

Neil : see.. this farmhouse is big enough to accomodate all the guest as they aren't in large number... right... all nodded to him...
And I think Dadu also want to have Meher's engagement to be held in his farmhouse only.. and slightly pinch Meher's cheek making her smile...

Abeer : ye sab toh thik hai... par arrangements.. wo kaise karenge...

Neil : wo tum mjuhpe chod do... I'll handle it...

Prakash : okay puttar ji... tumhe kya kya help chahiye bata do me tumhari help karunga...

Neil : first of all Dad i want you to take care of that stupid hall matter... do whatever you want Dad i just want result that's it... they can't just cancelled booking like this... i personally take care of them if i don't have to manage here... he said while gritting his teeth...

Avni eyes widened seeing him this intimidate... she for the first time saw him like that... he look really handsome in businessmen attitude and all... then she realised what she was thinking..she mentally slap herself...

Praksh nodded to Neil and went to make calls...

Neil : Mom Bebe Neela ma.. you all plzz look after the catering and guest...

Neela ma : don't worry Neil.. we'll take care of it...

Neil : perfect.. and you Meher you have the most important work.. and that is to smile like this all the time...and to take rest till the time of your Engagement... don't take any tension about your Engagement.. it'll going to be a blast... i promise... he said taking her hands in his... Meher nodded her head with a brightest smile on her face...

Avni look at him with an adorable eyes and think.. he's not bad as much as i thought of him... he's very very good.. this side of him is totally different to that Monster side... her thoughts was broken by Abeer...

Abeer : Neil I'll help you with the other thing...

Neil : no Abeer.. you stay with Meher.. I'll take of every thing... Abeer was about to protest but he cuts him off and say.. if i need anything I'll tell you.. but for now stay with her and beside i have Dad for the help.. so don't worry Jijaji... and wink at him...

Abeer take Meher to her room and the ladies become busy with their discussions...
Neil went outside while making some calls when Avni hold his wrist...

Avni : Neil.. I'll also help you...

Neil : its okay Avni you don- but she cuts him off..

Avni : Neil we seriously don't have any time for argument.. so plzz let me help you... we'll argue later.. He sighs..

Neil : okay.. come..

And with that all get busy with their respective work... Neil with his some contacts arrange everything for the decorations and other thing by the night time... Avni also help him with many things...

Prakash help ladies with guest and catering.. and at around 11:00 pm they four retire to their room after Avni and Neil's constant chants to take rest..

At almost midnight Abeer drag both Avneil to their respecrive room to take rest...

Next Day :

All get up early to do the remaining work... All were running here and there.. shouting... scolding... bickering... there was hustle bustle all around...

The decorations were almost done... and the catering.,guest arrangements.,sitting area., everything was almost done...

In afternoon Neil got an important Email regarding his new project so he went to check it only because Abeer threatened him and says he'll look after the remaining work..

Neil was sitting on the couch in the living room doing his work when Avni comes there all exhausted from the work and plopped down beside him on the ground resting her head on his lap and sighs...
Neil chuckles seeing her..

Neil : Tired...

Avni : Veryyyyy...

Neil : you did a great job..

Avni : i know.. she said patting herself in appreciation... He shook his head..

Neil : everything done..

Avni : yeah.. just lightning left..

Neil : I'll take care of it...
Avni look up at him..

Avni : no... you do your work.. Bro is looking after it.. and Bro will kick you if he come to know that you left your business for the lightening work...

Neil : I'm not leaving my work... it's almost complete.... and waise bhi Abeer has to get ready too.. so let's go and give some rest to the groom.. And get up... Avni huffs and give her hand to him to make her stand..
Neil pull her up..

Neil : i think this is the most work you ever did.. Avni look at him with a sweet smile and pinched him hard...

Neil : aaoww!! You Junglee billi...you have energy for pinching but not for standing up...She again pinched him..

Neil : now why did you pinch me..
He asked rubbing his hand...

Avni : 'cause you called me with that name again.., and narrowed her eyes at him..

Neil : and you proved it.. again..
He said mimicking her..Their eye-lock was broken by Abeer...

Abeer : Neil Avni.. you are fighting again...

Neil : I'm not fighting.. she started..

Avni : noo.. he started...

Neil : i didn't.. you pinch me..

Avni : and you call me with that irritating name..

Neil : and you prove-
But Abeer interrupts him...

Abeer : bas.. bas.. mere bhai... shant.. and Avni i told you to check after the decorations.. did you do it or were busy in your fight... Avni look here and there... Neil laugh at that and say..

Neil : decorations... you told her to look after the decorations.... ohh my friend.. you sister was too lazy to even get up by herself... and smirk at Avni receiving death glare from her.. but choose to ignore them...

Abeer place his hand on his waist and look at Avni with narrowed eyes...

Avni : wo.. woo.. i was going to check that only Bro.. but.. bu..

Abeer : but then I found Neil so I thought to have a fight with him.. he said sarcastically...

Avni : no.. i didn't fight with him.. he started it.. i already told you.. and now I'm going to check the decoration... you have fun with your so-called-bestfriend... She said gritting her teeth glaring both of them... and turn away to go..but stopped in the mid-way and shout..

Avni : And Bro do talk to Meher if you have a little time... she was calling you. she then went away but bumped into the table., making both of them chuckles.. She glare at them and then at the table.. cursing them all she left..

Abeer and Neil was looking at her retarded figure and then at each other before bursting into laughter...

Abeer : it was too much fun to annoy her..

Neil : truee...

Abeer : now i have to go.. Meher was calling... Neil nodded...

It was almost 4:30 pm when all the works completed... all elders went to their room to take rest and to get ready for the function...

Neil was looking for the final setting of the sitting area when he saw Avni.... he was anyways looking for her...

He went to her and as always drag her to the photographer who was checking his camera...

Neil : come on Junglee billi... we did lot of work.... now smile.. we should  atleast have a memory of the hardwork we did... and throw his hand on her shoulder...
She glare at him...

Avni : you don't have to drag me everywhere...he rolled his eyes and muttered 'whatever'...

Neil : now don't look at me like that.. i know you want to pinch me.. but do that after this... now smile... and make her look at the camera...

Avni gave him a death glare..
He pouts innocently...causing her to laugh .. he to laugh with her..

Abeer was standing in his balcony when Meher come there...

Meher : what are you doing here... don't you want to get ready...

Abeer : see them.. he points towards Avneil who were clicking their photos...

Meher : what about them... look like they become very good friends..

Abeer :good friends...huh..just an hour ago they were fighting like cats and dogs...and now see clicking photos like long lost best friend...

Meher : well then we can't say anything about them.. he nodded.. and they left from there to get ready for their Engagement..
