In the nigh one figure can be seen sitting in the garden doing the work he loves the most thinking oooppss sorry its the work he hates the most, so one figure was sitting in the garden doing the work he loves the most overthinking

He felt a soft tap on the shoulder, he looked back only to find his elder brother looking at him with concerened face.

"Yaha kya kr rha hai Cheeku??" Asked Mahi as he sat beside him.

Vi just nodded in no mumbling " was not feeling sleepy"

Mahi: tu itna bada ho gya ab mujhse baat chhupayega?? Hmm why not u r a captain now and who am I just a mentor that too for this tournament only.

Vi just rolled his eyes.

Mahi just kept his hands on Vi's one squeezing a little

Vi(mumbles): what if we loose tomorrow too bhai?? 

Vi looked at Mahi with little teary eyes. He just stood up from the point he was sitting and sat on the ground keeping his head on Mahi's lap.

Yes there were few hotel staff members, there was a high chance of their pic getting viral sitting like this but who cares?? None right?? Not atleast after seeing the younger brother like this.

Vi: bhai its seems it has become custom in my captaincy that we will reach to the final or semifinal but loose at the end. Champions trophy, world cup, Test world cup and I am sure this T-20 world is gonna go like this. 

Mahi: baccha kyun aisa soch rha hai?? Tu itna negative kab se hogya ha?? Tu toh sabko motivate krta hai tu kabse sochne lag gya aise??

Vi: toh aur kya krun main bhai aap batao jab se maine captaincy li hai sab kucch galat hi ho rha hai. India har baar har baar semifinal ya final mein haar rhi hai. Bhai its not like mujhe failure se dar lagta, I am ready to accept every failure, koi mujhe kucch bole mujhe koi farak nhi padta. I m the captain na then abuse me, curse me but why my team bhai?? Why my wife or daughter?? Why them?? Unki kya galti hai ki unka captain, husband and father ek failure hai. Jab Vamika ka birth hua tha na bhai trust me like everyone I was happy, excited to see my little bundle of joy but I couldn't make myself promise to her that I will protect her always, because I know she will get to hear very awful, disgusting things aur uska reason koi aur nhi uske khud ke papa honge. Sabke papa unko protect krte hain but uske papa (sadly chuckled) uske life ki sabse badi problem ban jaayenge. Now again bhai, tomorrow if we loose by chance u know na what will happen?? Mujhe mere liye kucch nhi chahiye trust me kucch bhi nhi but jab main apne loved ones ko aise hate milte dekhta hoon na man krta hai terrace jaakr jump maar loon problem hi solve ho jaayegi.

Mahi: shut up cheeku!! Paagal ho gya hai kya?? Kya bole jaa rha hai?? Dare u aisi ghatiya baat apne dimaag mein bhi laai toh?? Wapas se bola na aise toh baat nhi krunga tujhse kabhi bhi.

Vi looked at Mahi with teary innocent eyes and just hided his face in his lap throwing his hands around Mahi's waist

Vi: why u left bhai?? Pehle u were there on the field to calm me down, to set field, to help the bowlers but now aap pass hokr bhi door rahoge. Mujhe bahut dar lag rha hai. Consequences after the loss r very horrible. 

Mahi: Cheeku?? Baccha main toh tere paas hi hoon bas field pr nhi rahoonga and how does it matter then I am in ur heart. Right?? Do what ur heart says Cheeku. Just believe on urself Cheeku aur dekhna u will rock tomorrow. And as far as everyone is consider then let me tell u the team, ur wife, ur daughter, ur chosen daughters, ur elder brothers all r very very proud of Cheeks. Dada, Sach pa, Jammmy bhai, Sonu, Zak yeh toh thakte nhi hai teri praise krte hue. Inn sabko, hum sabko tere par pura bharosa hai and u know what tu kabhi humein fail nhi krskta. Vami jab badi hogi na toh pta hai kya bolegi " see Virat Kohli the world's best batsman and captain is my father".

Vi: a captain who not even won a ICC trophy

Mahi: how one decide a captain is successful or not. Have u ever thought?? Maine pucch tha dada se u know what he answered he said " a captain whose team believes on him, trusts his decision and respect his orders is considered as successful in real sense". ICC trophies r just trophies usey sirf trophies hi rehne de apne success ya failure ki pehchaan mat ban ne de use. Trust me kid u r already prooved successful as captain kyunki koi kre chahe na kre teri team tujh pr sabse zyada trust krti hai. Final aur semilfinal bhi toh match hi hote hain na, koi bhi haar skta hai koi bhi jeet skta hai. Ab yeh toh nhi keh skte jo team haari hai woh team weak hai ya uska captain kharaab hai. Sab ka apna day hota hai, kabhi luck fabour krta hai kbhi nhi usmein hum kucch nhi kr skte the only thing we can do is give our 100 percent. Kal jo bhi ho ek baat hamesha yaad rakhiyo agar tune 100 percent diya hai toh kisi trophy ki zaroorat nhi hai tujhe yeh proof krne ke liye ki tu ek winner hai. 

Mahi seperated Vi a little and cupped his face to made Vi look at him.

Mahi: kal ka match jo bhi ho remember one thing u r a winner and we all are always proud of u.

Mahi kissed his forehead as he wiped the tears from Vi's face ruffling his hair.

Vi smiled at him and once again threw his arms around Mahi.

Mahi: andar bhi chalna hai ya aise hi baithe rhna hai.

Vi relucantly leaved him. Mahi understood he wanted to stay with him but won't say because Ziva and Saks had accompanied him

Mahi: mere saath soyega aaj?? 

Vi: but Ziva and Saks bhabhi??

Mahi: they wanted to sleep with Anu and Vami

Vi grinned and nodded in yes happily hoping on Mahi from behind

Soon Saks and Ziva went to sleep with anu nd Vami where as Vi slept with Mahi.

Next day, 

The ever confident Virat Kohli was back who was motivating his kiddos time to time. 

Before match Mahi could chuckled listening Vi who was talking like he was going on some kind of war and there was not a single abusive word he left for referring the england team.

Ravi was looking at him like yeh nhi sudhrega.

Who will beleive that this is the same person who was crying hiding in big brothers lap scared of the loss.

The match started, India opt to bowl first. Root was in full form not getting out by anything. Bowlers were getting frustated as the run was continouly increasing and by now Rohirat were loosing their composure. 

Vi looked towards Mahi for once Mahi just gave him a smile and blinked his eyes telling him to calm down, u can do anything u want.

Vi smiled nd his every nerve calmed down. He ran to Siraj who was going to bowl and told him something, Ro understood what Vi was trying to do he set the field and gestured Rahul to be a little alert. 

Next ball Rahul took the catch of Root making Vi almost jump 2 feet above the ground screaming some beautiful words.

When the team came to congratulate Rah, Mahi noticed how Ro was trying to pull Virat as he can make Rah deaf by screaming like this. Which apparently led to Rohirat banter in middle of the field with harry and Jaddu doing work of "aag mein ghee" while everyone sent "bacha lo" glances to Mahi bhai

Mahi literally had glared them to make them stop, Rohirat then became aware of the surrounding and stopped their banter.

Mahi just shaked his head 

Something can never change

Well he didn't want it to change either. His kiddos thought Mahi fondly.

20 overs got completed and the target was 187. 

India team came to bat and there was what happened with India everytime in final or semifinal. Batting line up started collapsing

3 wickets were down with Suryakumar Yadav going back to pavillion in 5 overs with only 40 runs on the board.

Rishabh pant came to bat with Virat being on striker end. Vi glanced Mahi for once before taking the strike seeing him calm Vi too got calmed automatically. 

Vi and Rish started doing what Mahirat did once converting singles into doubles and triple. And once they reached 15th over they were hitting all around the stadium.

At 18.5 over Rish got run out due to some miscommunication between the batsmen. 

Jaddu came and on the last ball 2 runs were needed, Vi hit the excellent cover finishing the match.

Whole dressing room roared and ran to the ground jumping and hopping. In no time Vi was touching the ground with his team mates hovering over him.

Mahi too reached the ground, the team stood up as Vi was literally choked. Vi coughed a little and stood up jumping and shouting like no tomorrow.

He looked at the certain man standing a little away from them staring the team with misty eyes. Why not?? It was his kiddos who did it. Vi literally ran and jumped on Mahi. If Mahi would have not became habitual of this hug then he would have been on the ground by now.

Vi(whispers): we won bhai!! We did it!!

Mahi just tightened the hold and in no time other team member hugged him too.

In the post match presentation. Vi was having a hard time contolling his emotion but everyone could see his eyes were teary.

The gold medals were given to team member before handling the trophy to the captain of Indian Cricket Team. 

As soon he got the trophy he went to the team. Youngsters rushed to him to hold the trophy but Vi held it more tightly.

Vi(softly): just a second Rish. U will get it but I want to give it to someone else.

Rish(sulkily thinking it to be someother Junior): someone whom u love more??

Washy: I know bhai u love me more.

Prithvi: no me.

Vi shaked his head at them smilingly and went to Mahi.

Vi(handling it to Mahi): for u bhai, we couldn't give u world cup in 2019 but here it is.

Mahi looked at him with tears and all love he had. Before he could say anything Vi make him wear his gold medal and threw himself in his bhai's hand. There world saw the most shocking scene that was tears in M.S. Dhoni's eyes . Last time he cried in front of camera was while giving the retirement from test match. 

Mahi was just holding Vi like he was the most precious he ever had caressing and patting his head with tear flowing like water from his eyes. Vi himself was crying why?? The reason was not known to him too. Team was looking at them with teary eyes not only team but the whole world was teary seeing them.

Mahi and his kiddo..

After few minutes Mahi wiped his tears and broke the hug as he wiped Vi's tears he couldn't wait to go to dressing room so he kissed his forehead lovingly. Not giving a damn to media and camera. Yep they r going to be in highlights for god knows how many days but who cares?? 

Well the whole world was in 'aww' but confused at same time who r they actually. Like what is the true relation they share.

Or Friends

Or brothers

Or father and son

And may be all of the above.

Does it matter??

Offcourse not because jo bhi ho they r Mahirat 

The rest of the team too came and in no time Mahi was wearing the gold medals of everyone.

The photo was clicked with champions board. As the photo session got finished. 

Ro and Vi grinned at each other before anyone could understand anything they lifted Mahi on their shoulders.

Mahi(shocked): cheeku?? Ro?? Kya kr rhe ho yeh??

Vi: giving u what u actually deserve.

Ignoring all what Mahi said they covered the lap of ground.  

After one lap Mahi thought they will stop but instead they started making other lap.

Mahi: what r u doing?? one lap ho gya na?? Put me down

Ro: aapka joursey no. kitna tha bhai??

Mahi(confused): 7

Vi: toh kam se kam utne toh lagane do.

Mahi(shocked): what?? Paagal ho gya ho kya??? Shoulder mein pain hoga. Put me down.

Ro: this time we won't listen to u bhai.

Mahi: bu..

Vi: aapko hamari kasam. U won't stop us.

Mahi sighed shaking his head but he couldn't stop smile appearing in his face either.

After 4 laps Ro gave up and bhuvi took his place.

Mahi: Cheeku tu bhi chhod na. Shoulder mein dard hoga baccha.

Vi: plzzz bhai aapne itna kucch kiya hai humare liye humne kabhi roka?? Nhi na. then let us do what we want to do

Mahi: but cheek..

Vi: shoulder mein pain hoga toh aap ho na massage dene ke liye.

They completed rest of the three lap and the truth was by 6th lap Vi's shoulder started hurting but being stubborn he didn't stopped. On the otherside Mahi eyes were turning misty. He truly got what most of the captain failed to get.

In Mumbai three elder brothers were seeing smiling with teary eyes.

Dada: our Mahi prooved to be the best captain.

Sach: true that dadi. 

Jammy bhai: i wish the ICT goes on like this. True meaning of brotherhood

Soon everything was wrap up. It was almost early morning when everyone reached to the room.

Vi was laying on the bed on his stomach. Mahi entered in his room as Anu nd Vami had already slept with Saks and Ziva waiting for Vi. 

He saw Vi laying with tired look on his stomach with his hands working as pillow. Mahi wanted to scold him for the stupidity but can't bring himself to use even a stern voice.

He sighed softly, why he got the most stubborn person as his kid?? Well truth is he can give his life for this kid.

Mahi: dard ho rha hai baccha??

Vi hummed 

Mahi(soflty touching the shoulder): yahan??

Vi again hummed.

Mahi(pressing his shoulder): kyun krta hai aise ha?? 

Vi(mumbled): aapko special feel krwana tha. 

Mahi: tu paagal hai pura

Vi jaisa bhi hoon apka hi hoon

Mahi: woh toh hai chal ab so ja.

Vi hummed and slept in few seconds

Mahi looked at him lovingly.

Mahi( caressing his hairs): u make me feel special every single second since u came in my life kiddo. Everyday u make me love u more. I am very lucky to have u.

Mahi pressed his shoulders for more one hour then slept beside him holding him ever warmly

I know guys I said i will update on Mahul but I couldn't stop myself writing this.
