Tails pov

"oi shortie you still awake" wave clicked her fingers, waking me up from my daydream.

Waves been teaching me all kinds of tech stuff recently. She's a real good teacher if not a little strick. She's definitely not going to be happy about me daydreaming!

"ahh sorry sensai" I said apologetically "I've just had alot on my mind"

"thinking about that rabbit girl eh?" wave wiggled her eyebrows.

My faced turned red. Sure I've been having strange thoughts about her recently but cream's just a friend. It's not like I'm in love with her or anything!

Wave chuckled at my reaction "go on and take a ten minute break kid"

"ok" I nodded gratefully before running out the door.

It's crazy how much things have change in the span of two years. I started learning under wave. Jets been trying to fly a plane again, cream and shadows been helping out any orphans from the war, rouge and knuckles have been treasure hunting together (I'm pretty sure they're a couple at this point), Amy's been helping out cream's mom with the bakery, silver has been exploring the world with blaze and antione and bunny are happily married with a baby on the way.

The biggest change by far is that sonic and Sally are getting married! I'm so excited for the wedding. They are by far my favourite couple!

"hey tails!" I was surprised hugged by cream. Waves remark came to mind and I blushed.

"hey cream" I smiled nervously "are you excited for the wedding?"

"you bet I am!" she smiled excitedly "blaze and silver are coming back for the wedding too. I'm really looking forward to seeing them"

"so the whole gangs coming back" I muttered to myself "that is pretty exciting" our conversation was cut off by my watch beeping. Looks like my ten minutes are up! "I gotta go cream. Waves going to be pretty mad if I'm late"

"ok bye tails" she waved as I ran off.

Yep things are pretty good right now.
