I arrived at the castle that mephiles had taken over. I was trembling with anger. How dare that guy treat me like this! I'm going to make him suffer for that!

I jumped down, knocking away any robot that stood in my way. I was about to take a step in when-

"so this is where mephiles is staying" I jumped in surprise to see the kids standing behind me.

"what are you three doing here!" I yelled "I told you kids to stay in the forest where its safe!"

"there's no way we can do that!" tails yelled.

"not when our loved ones are being held captive by that creep" jet insisted.

"please Mr silver. You can't fight that scary man on your own" cream said tearfully.

I sighed. I want to keep these kids safe but maybe at this rate they'd be safer with me.

"alright but stay close to me"

*time skip*

I ran through the castle with the kids close behind me. I thought I'd have to protect them but to my surprise they were able to handle themselves very well. I mean I guess it makes sense. These kids are forced to fight for their life's everyday so it's only natural that they know how to fight.

"this castle looks fermilier" jet muttered.

"that's because it belongs to robotnic" tails growled "it's the same castle he stole from miss Sally!"

"but Mr robotnic doesn't seem to be here" cream muttered "did that scary guy do something to him?"

Before we had time to think about it mephiles landing in front of me.

"so you've come after me after I so graciously spared your life? Tch I figured as much. No matter. I shall not make the same mistake again" he clicked his fingers, summoning a group of monsters.

We backed into each other nervously. I don't know how well I'll fair against this-

My thoughts were cut off by a roaring fire lighting the monsters ablaze. I noticed a figure standing behind the fire with their arms folded. The figure took a step forward. No I can't be...
