Jets pov

"oi jet. Can you get the shopping for me" wave yelled as she held out a shopping list.

"sure thing" I grabbed the shopping list and ran out the door.

"don't forget the donuts boss" storm yelled as I ran out the door.

I walked through the streets with a smile on my face. It feels great to get out and about. It's kinda hard to do so when wave and storm are babying me!

"hi mister jet" I looked up to see cream sitting at her bedroom window.

"hi cream" I waved happily "I'm getting shopping for wave and storm. You wanna come with?"

"I'd like to but I can't" she sighed "I'm grounded for a whole week"

"Well that sucks" I thought to myself for a moment "hold on kid I've got an idea!"

I ran up to her door and knocked on it. Cream's mother answered the door.

"can I held you with something dear?" she asked.

"ah yeah you see my friends sent me out to get the shopping but I'm worried I won't be able to carry it all" I gestured to my arm "can cream please come out to help me?"

"oh you poor dear" she looked at me in pity before looking behind her "cream dear come downstairs!"

"coming mom" cream ran downstairs to her mother.

"ok honey I'd like you to help this boy with his shopping. Now your still grounded so I want you back in ten minutes"

"ok mom!" she hugged her before running out with me.

Once cream's mother was out of sight she pulled me into a hug "that was genius mister jet"

"pretty cool huh?" I winked at her "now let's go get tails"

*time skip*

"and that should be everything" I said as I ticked off everything. Tails and cream were kind enough to carry my stuff. Is this what it's like to have friends?

"mom's grounded me for a whole week" cream sighed "I've never seen mom so angry before"

"same" tails sighed "what about you jet? How long are you grounded for?"

"Umm about that" I sweated nervously "I don't exactly have a set date"

"whaaat! Your not getting punished!?" tails yelled.

"that's not fair!" cream also yelled "especially since it was your idea!"

I felt overwhelmed by their yelling. I gotta think of a way to calm them down!

"I'll make it up to you! Once you guys aren't grounded anymore I'll teach you how to ride the extreme gear"

"really?" the two of them looked at me excitedly. I sighed in relief. Looks like that's over and done with-

"what are you kids up to?"
