Tails pov

"what!?!"

We couldn't believe what we were hearing. Sonic was really willing to join this group of thieves just for some gear!

"sonic can we talk to you for a second" we didn't wait for an answer. Me and knuckles just dragged him away.

"are you crazy!" I whisper-yelled "you can't join those guys"

"yeah I don't like the looks of them" knuckles grumbled.

"look guys their gear could be useful for our battle against robotnic" sonic insisted "So can we please just put our differences aside for now"

"I'm sure I can make the same gear sonic just please don't join those band of thieves" I pleaded with him.

Sonic stared at me for a second before bursting out laughing.

"w-whats so funny" I stuttered.

"oh tails of course I'm not going to join these guys! Can't you tell when I'm bluffing"

I turned bright red "well its not my fault your a convincing actor" I muttered.

"my plan is to get that gear and get our new friends to join our cause so try not to get in my way" he winked at me before rushing over to the babylons "alright jet I'll consider joining your team if you check out our camp"

"no way" wave yelled "the babylon rogues keep to themselves. We don't mix with other people"

"hmm" jet folded his arms thoughtfully "maybe we can make an exception for you guys"

"jet you can't" wave yelped "please boss I'm begging you to reconsider"

"but wave I like these guys" jet whined "the blue guys really fast and I respect that even though I could go ten times faster"

"those are some big words little man" sonic grinned "think you can back them up?"

"of course I can!" jet yelled "tell you what I'll race you right now. First one to the end of green hill wins!"

"your on kid!"

And with that the two of them took off. I sighed loudly. This is going to be exhausting!
