Sonics pov

I ran outside at top speed. I can't believe jet got hurt. I thought having them attack from the air was a risk free move. I had no idea metal sonic would be here. If anything happens that kid I'll never forgive myself!

I arrived outside to find an unconscious jet on the floor with a shaken up storm knelt down beside him.

I knelt down to inspect him. His head was bleeding slightly. He must have hit his head on the way down. I placed my head to his chest to listen for a heartbeat.

*....... Tadump tadump*

I heard a soft heartbeat. I smiled in relief "he's going to be alright. Let's just let him slee-"

I was cut off by a coughing sound. I looked down to see jet had opened his eyes.

"hey buddy" I smiled gently at him "how are you feeling"

"my arm. It really hurts" he held his arm with a panicked expression. Crap it looks broken!

"easy buddy its going to be ok" I told him gently "let's just sit you up ok"

I slowly sat him up. He let out a whimper of pain. That was enough to make wave and storm lose it.

"stay the hell away from him!" wave snatched jet away from me "are you ok sweetie?" she asked gently.

"y-yeah" he mumbled tiredly.

The two of them continued to talk to him in a worried tone while I could only stare.

They really hate me now don't they?
