I struggled with the ropes tirelessly. Yep their definitely study. And the fact that he tied us up using his telekinesis too. I'm both impressed and infuriated!

"grr we gotta find a way out of here" I muttered to the others.

"if blaze was here she could have burnt the ropes for us" cream sighed.

"nows not the time to be depressed cream" I said sternly. I hate being so hard on her but this is a serious situation we're in!

"why don't we just talk to our kidnapper?" jet suggested.

"huh?" I looked over in surprise.

"he kidnapped us cause he was upset about something right? If we figure out what that is we might have a chance to escape"

"that's a great idea jet" I exclaimed. I guess this is why he's the leader. I looked over at a tree where our kidnapper was sitting and yelled "hey! Mr silver was it? Could we talk to you for a second"

He sighed and flouted over to us "what do you kids want?" he growled.

"you seem a little upset. Would you like to talk about it?" I asked.

"do I look like I need a therapist?" he glared at us.

"no but you should talk your feelings out every once in a while. It's healthy" cream smiled sweetly.

He clenched his fist before turning to us angrily "yeah I'm upset. I'm upset because I've grown up in an Apocalyptic future where you can only trust yourself. I'm upset cause the person I thought I could trust disappeared without a trace. I'm upset cause I found out that my only friend in the world has been spending all their time with you guys!"he was trembling with anger. Or maybe it was sadness. Its hard to tell at this point.

"I understand Mr silver" cream said with tears in her eyes "I miss blaze too"

"so she left you guys behind too" he sighed "damnit. I'm never going to find her am I?" I was starting to feel bad for the guy.

An idea popped into mind "hey you said you were from a messed up future right?"

"yeah so?" he raised an eyebrow.

"then why don't you let us show you around?" I said excitedly "I'm sure there are some things in the past that you haven't seen before"

"I can't" he said firmly "I have to look for blaze"

"come on man just forget about your girl troubles and come hang with us" jet yelled.

"I don't have girl troubles" silver yelped turning red.

"pleeese" we gave him our best puppy dog eyes.

He sighed and raised his hand, releasing us from our ropes "alright let's get this over with"
