Sonics pov

I looked out at the sunset. It usually helps when I have alot on my mind but it's not helping at all! I couldn't stop thinking about jet and how I failed him. If only I acted differently. Maybe then they wouldn't have left.

"is everything ok sonic?" I turned around to see sally staring at me.

"oh sure sal I'm fine" I forced a smile on my face.

"sonic you don't have to put on a brave face around me" she took a seat next to me "I know somethings bothering you so just tell me"

I sighed. Trust Sally to know what I'm thinking..

"I just feel like I failed those guys" I muttered "jet and his gang put their trust in me. They didn't want any part in this. They did it cause I promised them a proper life but jet ended up getting hurt and now his friends feel used! I just wish I did things differently"

"welcome to my life" she smiled at me "sonic being a leader isn't easy. Sometimes you make choices that end with others getting hurt. It just means that you have to do things differently the next time. Your a good guy sonic. You'll figure this out"

"your right sal" I smiled at her.

"always am" she winked.

We looked up in disbelief to see a airship getting attacked by robotnic!

"that's the babylons airship!" I gasped. I immediately grabbed my hoverbourd tails made me and jumped on it.

"where are you going?" Sally asked.

"to do what I do best" I winked at her "saving people!" with that I flew off towards the airship.
