Jets pov

"come on mister jet right this way" cream said as she skipped down the hallway. I followed close behind her. I was hoping that she would get the food for me but I guess this works too!

She's an unusually happy girl. I've never seen anyone with this much positive energy before! It was both interesting and off putting.

"and here we are" cream opened the kitchen door excitedly.

"aww yeah!" I ran up to the cupboard only to realise that it's too tall. I tried to climb but couldn't with my broken arm.

"let me help Mr jet" cream climbed on the shelf and pulled out some biscuits "would you like some tea Mr jet?"

"uhh sure" I smiled at her. This should be fun!

* time skip*

"here you are Mr jet" she said as she poured me some tea. Somehow me looking for something to eat has turned into having a tea party with a rabbit and some blue creature named cheese. Can't complain though. Its actually pretty fun. I told her all about the babylon rogues and she listened and actually thought I was cool. I haven't been this respected since the meeting storm and wave. I wonder where they are-

"jet!" speak of the devil there they are!

"hey guys" I waved at them.

I was immediately pulled into a hug by the both of them "jet you can't go running off when you're injured like that" wave scolded me.

"sorry I was just getting something to eat" I muttered bashfully. I'll never get any respect if they keep treating me like a kid!

"oh good you found him" I looked up to see sonic waltzing up to us.

Wave glared at him "yeah no thanks to you" she growled "you've done nothing but endanger us and you have the gal to act like we're friends!" she turned to me "come on jet we're leaving!"

"o-ok" I muttered as she took my hand and led me away.

"guys wait!" sonic yelled but we ignored him as we walked on.

I guess we're going home.
