Jets pov

"what do you mean I have to stay here!" I yelled as wave and storm dropped me off at Mr antiones house.

Wave bent down to my level "jet I know you feel like an adult and you're very mature for your age but your still fourteen and the cafe we're getting info from has a 15 and over rule"

"then can't I just lie about my age. I'm good at lying!" I insisted.

"it's not just that" she sighed "your injured Jet. I'd feel alot better knowing that your safe and sound here"

Before I could say anything back antione popped up "do not worry me mamoselle. I will take good care of zee little lad. Come inside my little one" he led me inside.

I sat next to cream and tails with a sigh "this sucks" I muttered.

"I know right" tails growled "I might be twelve years old but I'm also a genius. I don't know why they insist on treating me like a child"

"oh you think you guys have it bad?" cream glared at us "I'm ten years old, only two years younger than you tails and I've never been allowed on a single mission. It's like they don't trust me!"

I tilted my head in interest. I guess we all upset about being left behind.

"cheer up zee little children. Uncle antione is here to tell zee story of zee great war"

We all groaned as he took a seat "tis was a dark and deadly night. I was up against zee army of thousands with only a sword and yet I took them down with a single blow"

I yawned as antione continued on with his boring story. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a rope hanging on the door.

I grinned to myself and whispered something to tails. He giggled and whispered the same thing to cream. She nodded and sneaked off. Tails quickly replaced her with a stuffed rabbit which antione didn't notice since he was too inwrapped in his own story.

Cream came back with the rope. We immediately stood up and tied antione to the chair!

"ahh you bad children. What are zee doing?" he yelled.

"come on guys let's watch 18+ movies and eat a ton of sweet stuff" I said excitedly.

"yeah" tails and cream cheered.

"zee are not allowed" antione yelled "I will tell zee gardein about this"

"oh put a sock in it" I yelled as I shoved a sock in his mouth "come on guys let's go!"

So we grabbed as many sweet treats as we could and put on a horror movie. We had to cover cream's eyes for the bloody stuff but other than that we had a really good time.

Maybe missing out on a mission isn't so bad.
