(No POV)

The pre-battle celebration with Piers and Y/N was a blast, to say the least, the room was filled with laughter, cheering, and chatting. The food served was fried meats and BBQ with fried side dishes and washing it down with sodas. For a moment, he was enjoying himself forgetting why he was here in the first place, he got to let loose a little by laughing, cheering, and such without the supervision of Oleana. Sure, being with Oleana was an experience on its own but the woman he realized was uptight, serious, and strict on what he said, did, and many other aspects. He couldn't act like himself with her which has been exhausting for him lately but Piers doesn't mind Y/N's personality. The comparisons between the environment and food are also staggering, while in her house he eats only the finest and healthiest dishes in a quiet yet elegant dining environment, he is in a neon-lit room with wooden tables, loud sounds everywhere, and dozens of unhealthy but delicious food. But he didn't mind that at all, he was in a normal setting eating and acting like a normal teenager again, something he hadn't done in a while.

Piers- So, are you enjoying yourself, kid?

Y/N- Yeah! Thanks for the meal!

Piers- No problem, now that I am full, say the word, and let's get this started. 

Y/N- For sure, just let me finish my fries and drink.

Piers only smiled at him and gave an almost approval-like look on his face, Marnie's words about Y/N turned out to be right, so he felt she picked the right boy.

Pier's mind- You have my blessings, kid. 

After that thought, Y/N finished his meal and was ready to start the battle.

YN- Ready!! 

Piers- Good. All right, everyone, it's show time!!

The whole crew of Team Yell loudly cheered and went to the benches to watch the battle commence. Y/N and Piers walked to each end of the stadium.

Piers- Don't hold back Y/N, 'cause I won't.

Y/N- *Chuckle* Wasn't planning to, now let's roll.

Piers-  Let the battle...

The two got out their first Pokemon.

Piers- BEGIN!!

(Gloria's POV)

I have been stuck in this frozen block for what seemed like forever and to make it worse, I never got to end that slut's life, and that ice hoe had to ruin everything!!

Gloria- I won't fail again, this time it is all or nothing.

I tried to move once more and expected to be still but this time, I felt some movement. This was good so I tried to move where the sun shines the brightest so the ice melts faster. But then I heard footsteps behind me.

"Well, I wasn't expecting this at all."

"Damn, whoever did this got you good."

Then I saw who was there, and I was somewhat glad to see them.

Gloria- You have no idea how glad I am to see you two.

Sonia- I'm sure you do, anyway what happened to you? And who did this?

Gloria- It was that ice gym leader, Melony who did this.

Nessa- Well, that explains the ice body block. But how did it end like this, last time we chatted, you said you had that girl Marnie in your range and was going to "End it once and for all" or something like that. 

Gloria- I may have gotten cocky and didn't act on the kill sooner, I had this whole saying about her loss and Y/N being mine now. But she held on to life against my switchblade but was close to her throat but then Melony interrupted everything and well...you see the results.

Sonia- Yeah, well now she has gotten away once again and is most likely with Y/N by now or planning to.

Nessa- I actually may know where Y/N is, this route leads to Spikemuth which means he is battling Piers by now to earn the Dark badge. 

Sonia- And where does he go next when he wins?

Nessa- Normally a trainer is supposed to go back to Hammerlocke and be congratulated by Leon and is given approval to battle Raihan.

Sonia- He is the Dragon-Type trainer, right?

Nessa- Yup, and on the way he has to travel through the Route 9 tunnel.

Gloria- And you mention this because...

Nessa- I think we can grab Y/N there without anyone knowing plus I know a spot or two where we can do this without him seeing us.

Sonia- That may be the best idea yet, Nessa. Ok, we'll go there...wait as soon as I melt the ice off of Gloria.

Sonia got out a Charzard and ordered it to melt the ice, and after some time I was free from my prison.

Gloria- Thanks.

Sonia- Don't mention it.

Gloria- All right, glad to be out of that shit. Now, let's already head over there and think of a plan along the way.

Sonia- Sounds good.

Nessa- Good idea.

We walked to the Tunnels, and I felt more excited than before.

Gloria's mind- Today is the day we have him, and nothing will ruin it this time.~

(Marnie's POV)

I was in Melony's home which was a nice-looking home but very cold so I had to ask for a jacket from her and then she went to the kitchen to grab some snacks and whatnot which was nice of her but I'm still confused as to why she is friendly to me, she has an ulterior motive, I know it.

Melony- Sorry I took a while, I brought an assortment of snacks.

Marnie- Thanks.

Melony- No problem. Now, I should tell you why I am choosing to with you.

Marnie- Choosing to work with me? And what do you mean by that?

Melony- You see, I considered you an enemy because of Y/N's seemingly fondness of you but I also heard about an incident with a girl named Gloria.

Marnie- Yeah, he told me that, but after he went to another girl named Bea for confront which kinda pissed me off as I thought he would come to me for that.

Melony- See, we both have common enemies, Oleana and Bea. They have him under their grasp but I oversaw an emotional burst he threw at them and ran towards Spikemuth on his own.

Marnie- I helped him get there and even made my move on him.

Melony- I know, I was watching him the whole which is how I saw your confrontation with Gloria.

Marnie- So that's how you knew, so tell me what are you getting at?

Melony- Then I thought that instead of you as my enemy, I would suggest teaming up so getting Y/N will be easier for...well, I would say us but it was mainly for me.

Marnie- So you're just using me.

Melony- Yes, but we can share too. All I ask of you is to bring Y/N to us and we can go from there.

Marnie- How do I know you won't betray me and take him all for yourself?

Melony- Well, let's do a blood oath.

Marnie- ...Gross, but fine.

She went to grab a small knife and cut her hand.

Melony- Now, it's your turn.

I grabbed the knife and slowly cut my right hand palm, it stung like hell but if this it what it would get Y/N to me, I guess this is what I had to do.

Melony/Marnie- From this point on, we are in a team. For Y/N.

Melony- Now that it is settled, when he beats the gym leader, Piers, he will go to the route nine tunnels to go to Hammerlocke, You go there and wait for him there, and make sure no one is following you or anything.

Marnie- What happens if other people are waiting for Y/N?

Melony- Then we have to take drastic actions, knock him out however you see fit then we take whoever is blocking our way on. I'll be in distance to assist you if that were to happen but far enough not for our enemies to see me. Got it?

Marnie- Yeah, I do. OK, I'm off, I'll be back with Y/N.

Melony- Can't wait.~

I exited her house and headed to the tunnels, I hoped nobody would be there so this would be easy.

Marnie's mind- But I don't mind knocking some bodies if they do.

(Bea's POV)

I walked inside the Route Nine tunnels since Oleana told me that this was where Y/N would go to get back to Hammerlocke. I observed the area to see if there was any way I could use this tool she gave me in case he refused to come with me or anybody who also wanted him to hide their bodies so Y/N wouldn't see them. Then I found a cracked wall, I didn't have any tools to break it apart but I figured I could do it myself.

*Deep Breath*

*SLAM!*

I broke through the wall with my fist, the wall revealed a rather spacious spot, I can hide some bodies here. 

Bea- This could work.

That's one thing taken care of, now time to play the waiting game, he should be heading right here soon.

Bea's mind- If anyone should come here, I'll use this handy tool to silence them and take Y/N back to Oleana. And my life with Y/N will begin for the rest of our lives.~

(Timeskip)

(Y/N's POV)

 Piers was a tough trainer, I had no idea what kind of moves his Pokemon had were that strong but my team as usual kept their ground and defeated his team and now I won.

Piers- *Chuckles* Whoa, you are strong, kid. Never seen a team like yours before.

Y/N- Thanks. You were not bad yourself, that was an intense but fun battle.

Piers- Well, I'm glad to give you this for beating me.

He handed me a badge but it looked like his Team symbol, now I have proof to Oleana that this wasn't a waste of time, and hope she can give me a bit more freedom on how I go about my Journey. But I hope also she can accept me back knowing how she is and all that, who knows but only one way to find out.

Piers- So, what will you do now?

Y/N- Well, I got some personal business to take care of, and the rest is up to fate I guess.

Piers- Well, whatever it is you do, I wish you luck.

Y/N- Thanks. See ya.

I ran towards the exit gates of the town and headed towards the road where a sign said that I was heading to a place called Route Nine Tunnels. 

Y/N- Time to go.

Sometime later...

It sure was getting windy now and the sky was getting more grey clouds, maybe it was about to rain. I didn't bring an umbrella with me, maybe I can wait inside the tunnels to let it clear. My thoughts on the weather were interrupted when I heard a voice.

"Looks like you were right all along Y/N."

I looked straight ahead of me to see Bea standing near the entrance of the Tunnels.

Y/N- Oh, hi Bea.

Bea- I see you got a token of your victory in Spikemuth.

Y/N- Yeah, and it doesn't look like an official badge but I consider it one. But anyway, what are you doing here?

Bea- I was waiting for you to show up here to take you back to Oleana, she is worried about you and wants to see you.

Y/N- I know she is mad about my sudden outburst and running off but I wanted to prove to her that I can do some challenges on my own without her constant supervision.

Bea- Her constant supervision is only in your best interest Y/N, don't take that the wrong way. It's her way of caring even if it does seem unconventional. And I hated seeing you run like that, it made me sad that you didn't trust us but I hope you make a wise choice here and come with me.

Y/N- Well, I...

"Y/N!"

Both Bea and I turned our heads to see who called my name and saw that it was Marnie.

But her smile and bright face turned cold and dark the second she looked at Bea.

Marnie- Oh, it's you. I wished that no one would be here with him but I guess not all wishes come true.

Bea- So, you are Marnie. The idol of Team Yell, the trouble-making group of nobodies who worship like a goddess.

Marnie- Oh please, I want nothing to do with those losers, all I care about is that boy right next to you.

Y/N- Guys? W-whats going on?

Bea- What is going on is that we are leaving now Y/N, come on.

Just when Bea grabbed my arm, Marnie ran to me to grab my other arm.

Marnie- Not so fast, he isn't going anywhere with you. He is coming with me.

Bea- Oh, and why is that?

Marnie- I don't think he feels comfortable being with such uptight people like you and that Oleana woman, he wants to be free again and I can give him that freedom.

Y/N- Look Marnie, I know what I said about the two but despite that, my gut tells me to stick with them, plus I kept a promise to be with Oleana till I become champion and that's what I intend to do.

Marnie- So, are you leaving me behind Y/N? After everything I did for you?

Y/N- Leaving you behind?! No, that's not what I meant. We can still be friends and...

Marnie- FRIENDS?! SO THAT KISS WE SHARED WAS FOR NOTHING?!

Wait?! Did I just say that?! SHIT!!

Y/N- No... I...

Bea- Y/N....did my ears just deceive me?

I turned to see Bea with her grey eyes now more darker than before and I felt a chill in my spine.

Y/N- Bea, I won't lie, Marnie and I did kiss but I wasn't expecting it at all she made the move first and didn't know what to do but kiss back. 

Bea didn't respond to me but I didn't expect her to run to Marnie and...

*PUNCH!*

Marnie- Gah!!

Y/N- The hell?!

Bea punched Marnie in the face and she fell on her back, with her hands covering her face.

Bea- You poisoned Y/N with your filth and I cannot let that slide. 

Marnie- S-so you wanna fight?! Let's fight! Right here right now!

Bea- I don't need to waste my strength on you, you won't make it anyway.

Y/N- Bea, what the hell did you do that for?! There was no reason to punch her like that?!!

Bea- I did, she took away my right to kiss you first. I'm kinda angry and disappointed with you Y/N but I can forgive you if you come with me right now.

Y/N- I need to make sure she is ok and...

Bea- Y/N. I am close to taking you by force if you don't step away from her.

Y/N- No, you punched someone for no reason. Is this because you are jealous of her? Cause I feel like that is what happening right now. I won't go until she is alright.

As I ran to Marnie to make sure she was ok, I felt someone was watching us and the whole situation but I didn't care about that right now.

Y/N- Marnie, are you ok? 

Marnie- My nose is bleeding and my eye is sore.

Y/N- Here, I have some bandages on me, let me patch you up.

Just as I was about to get my backpack set down, I felt my shirt forcibly grabbed and I was slammed on the floor with my head facing the ground 

Bea- It seems like I have no choice but to do this Y/N, I gave you warnings but you refused to listen to me so now I have to use this tool after all.

I didn't know what she meant by the tool but I heard shaking and I knew this wasn't good. Bea went mad.

Bea- Sleep tight Y/N, you will be thanking me soon.~

I tried to move but she was too physically strong for me to even try to get away, I braced for whatever tool was going to do.

"ICE BLAST!"

Then, I heard a shout and saw a bright beam go straight at Bea and knock her off me, I got up fast and saw her on the floor not moving.

"Are you ok, sweetie?"

I went to see who did all that and I felt relieved about who it was.

Y/N- M-Melony, thank you. I-I had no idea what she was going to do to me and I..felt...

She walked to me and just hugged me tightly, with my face awkwardly in between her breasts 

Melony- It's ok now Y/N, your safe. She won't ever hurt you again as long as me and Marnie are by your side.~

I didn't know what she meant by that last part but I needed to be in familiar company right now.

Marnie- Now that we are in the clear, we should go before more trouble shows up and...

Marnie went silent all of a sudden and she fell on the ground.

Y/N- MARNIE?!

Melony- What is happening?!

I let go of Melony and went to Marnie and saw something on the side of her neck, it looked like a needle of some kind. I picked it up and had a strange liquid on it, it smelled of a strong chemical.

Melony- What in the world is that?!

Y/N- I don't know but it was in her neck, what is this?!

I gave it to Melony and she smelled it and she had a worried look on her.

Melony- We are not alone Y/N?

Y/N- Alone? Was someone else not supposed to be here, what is this madness?

Melony- Y/N, we need to leave Marnie behind and run for it.

Y/N- No, I won't leave her to whoever is here, she can be hurt worse if we leave her.

Melony- Y/N, we have to leave so we can begin our lives toget-...

Melony stopped talking as she fell on the floor too, it was the same needle as Marnie's and had the same chemical smell on it. I didn't see anybody in front or behind me but who is doing this?

Y/N- I need to get out of here, I think I can't stay here, in this world anymore. 

"Oh, you're not going anywhere.~"

"Not after we have chased you for so long for this moment to come.~" 

"We can begin the life we have dreamed about with you, just the three of us.~"

I heard multiple sickly sweet voices and I feared for the worst, I never thought I would do this but I tried to grab one of my Pokemon to let out so they could distract it and I could run. But I didn't get to open my box as I felt a shock go through my body and I fell on the floor again. My head only seemed to listen to my brain as I looked over the shadows of the figures and who I saw put fear in my heart and I felt betrayed.

Gloria/Sonia/Nessa- Hello darling.~

Y/N- Sonia...Nessa? Why? Gloria? 

Gloria put a finger on my lips to quiet me down.

Gloria- Shhh....don't talk right now. We need you to rest right now.~

Sonia grabbed a bag of some kind, took out a fistful of colorful dust, and blew it slowly on my face. All of a sudden, my eyes felt droopy and my brain felt like it was shutting down. I tried to fight it but it was no use, my sight went black. I lost my strength and fell asleep.

Y/N- No...no...n..o. 

ZZZZZZ...
