(Y/N's POV)

I knew in my gut that Melony would be a challenge but damn, she is a lot stronger and intimidating than she looks, but with all of my team's effort, we defeated her last Pokemon and victory was ours. I clapped and cheered along with the crowd, out of all the battles so far, she was the most exciting yet scariest one to date and to activate a win pumped me up even more. I walked to her to collect my badge and she seemed happy despite her loss, but whatever.

Melony- Congratulations Y/N for your victory, here is your earned prize.

She handed me the badge and was a little cold to touch but I quickly added it with the others.

Y/N- Thank you, that was an amazing battle.

Melony- I'm glad you said that, it was a joy to experience this battle. What's your next move?

Y/N- Heading to the next challenge.

Melony- Neat, if you feel like having another battle or whatever you want, here.

She gave me her League card and it said.

"Hope we can meet and talk soon, I'll be waiting.~"

It had a heart drawn along with a number, I blushed hard.

Melony- *Giggles* You are so cute with that blush, see you soon darling.~

I nodded, quickly left for the locker rooms, locked the door, and faced the wall.

Y/N- Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!

I must be the luckiest guy in the world right now, I rambled on and on and felt like screaming in joy right about now but I calmed myself, regained my senses, and looked at myself in a mirror.

Y/N- One of these days, I'll call her and see if she knows another place to eat and other stuff.

With that out of my system, I changed back into my normal clothes, got my bag ready, and began heading out. I unlocked the door and saw Marnie standing there right in front of the door.

Y/N- Whoa!!! Jesus!

Marnie- Sorry Y/N. I didn't mean to scare you there.

Y/N- I-It's fine but why did you have to stand there like that, could've given me a heart attack.

Marnie- I just wanted to be there to say congrats on your victory and one other thing.

I got up from the floor and we walked toward the exit of the arena hallway, then Marnie tugged my sleeve.

Y/N- Hmm? What's up?

Marnie- Do you know where you have to go next?

Y/N- I'm not sure I figured Oleana would tell me that, why?

Marnie- There's no need for that, I have that info for you, it is a place called Spikemuth, to the west of Route 9.

Y/N- OK then, thanks for that.

Marnie- But I have to say that info doesn't come free, I hope you understand that. But I only require two ways of repayment.

Y/N- What are there?

Marnie- First, you need to have a battle with me, if you win, I'll also tell you more about the place.

Y/N- Alright, and what's the second?

She didn't respond to that and she looked at the ground.

Marnie- ...Well, you'll see that soon. Anyway, when you head out of Circhester on route 9, it's nothing but ice, cold water, and snow but along the way, there is a patch of land with some mild grass, I'll be there waiting for you ok?

Y/N- Sure, see you there.

Marnie- Good, later.~

She ran off to the exit of the hallway, I wondered for a bit what she meant by I'll find out about the second repayment but I guess I won't find out if I stand here, time to go. I walked out of the doors and as I thought, Bea and Oleana were there.

Bea went towards me first, and we walked over to Oleana.

Oleana- Congratulations once again Y/N, you make me proud.

Bea- Same Y/N.

Y/N- Thank you.

Oleana- Now, there is one last battle you need to do, and it's located back in Hammerlocke, so that's where we need to go.

Y/N- Hold on...

Oleana- Yes?

Y/N- I still need another badge before we do that one right?

Oleana- Then remind me which one you're talking about.

Y/N- The Dark badge, I remember one time you said something about that and I know where to get it next. It is a place called Spikemuth, and I know someone who can help me with that.

Oleana- Oh, who is it then?

Bea- ...Who? Y/N?

Y/N- A girl named Marnie I have known for some time, I don't think you two ever met her, or I haven't said anything. Well, in any case, I'm supposed to head west of Route 9 from here, and I have a battle to settle with her so it's good practice before the next gym over there. 

They both didn't respond and looked at me with strange looks, I don't know what I said to make that happen.

Oleana- Did...you say, Marnie?

Y/N- Yeah. Do you know her?

Oleana- Only in the fact that she is a major character in this group called Team Yell, a bunch of loud and obnoxious punks who have nothing better to do but harass anyone.

Bea- And you Know Her?

Y/N- I kinda know about this group, I had to battle them back then in a hotel somewhere, and that's when I met her. She is actually pretty cool and we talk from time to time and now I get to battle her. I really want to so I can do even better before the grand finales, that's not a bad deal, right?

Oleana- Y/N...I recommend...no, demand that you cut ties with her this instant.

What?! What is up with Oleana today? Demand I cut ties!?

Y/N- Why?

Oleana- Because her reputation will only damage yours and get in your way of becoming the Galars region champion we all have worked hard to get to this point. 

Bea- It's for your own good Y/N, she may be nice to you but do you know her?

I-I don't believe any of their words, I don't think they understand what they are saying, never have they met her personally like I have. She is not like that, she never even acknowledges her fans even once when we talk.

Oleana- I hope you understand this, it's for your future.

Y/N- ...NO!

Oleana- Excuse me?

Bea- Y/N?!

Y/N- No, I won't do any of that, I'm shocked to even hear what you two said. Damage my reputation!? Don't know what she is like!! Bullshit!!

They had shocked looks on their faces but I didn't back down, I gave them a little piece of my mind for once.

Y/N- Marnie is one of the nicest girls I have met, she never once mistreated me, I don't know why you think so low of her but I won't stand it. I'm going to battle her and go to Spikemouth.

I walked away from them and headed to the exit.

Oleana- Y/N! Think about what you are doing!! Without me, you wouldn't have gotten this far and been left behind. I have done everything to make you great, what has Marnie done for you?!?

Bea- What about me Y/N?! I have spent so much time making you a stronger and better trainer, and comforting you when you were down, has she done that for you?!?

I felt my heart sink but at the same time, my body refused to turn back. I turned my head only and looked at them.

Y/N- It's true, you two have changed everything for me for the better, and to that....thank you. I won't ever forget that but...

I turned away from them and walked again.

Y/N- I want to get this badge and if you don't approve of it...so be it. I will win this one, and maybe I can properly introduce Marnie to you and have your opinions changed. I hope you understand that as well.

 I walked away without another word and headed to Route 9.

Y/N's mind- I hope I can prove them wrong.

(No POV)

As that incident happened, there were a couple of ears that listened in the whole time and had different reactions to it but one thing is certain, this was a full opportunity.

(Melony's POV)

Now I just heard the most interesting fight in a while, Y/N just walked off from Oleana and Bea, probably not to split off from them but it looked that way to me. This may be my chance to get closer to him and be the opposite of Oleana who is controlling, strict, and has a low-key selfish goal based on what she said. I'll be more lenient, and more relaxed with him, and my only goal would be to make him feel happy as I can. Now, how do I go about that?

Melony's mind- I wonder if I can meet this Marnie girl?

(Gloria's POV) 

All of this following and hiding tactic was worth it, after all, I just saw Y/N walk off from those two and head on his own for the first time in a long time. I quickly went after his trail to see where he goes next. At first, I didn't know if this would work but it turns out, that just keeping it on the low, wearing different clothes each time, and controlling myself when Y/N gets near other females worked in my favor. Some time walking later, I find Y/N battling all of the trainers that stand in his way, I got to see how much he had grown since our split and he is much stronger than before, but unfortunately that was Oleana's and Bea's doing, not me or both Sonia and Nessa. We would've been better than those two but soon, he will be in all three of our arms. When he got to the huge lake on the route, he took out a water bicycle to cross it, must've been given it by Oleana. I didn't have one of my own but I did have a tool in hand, I opened up my backpack and whipped up this bad boy.

The best part of being with the Chairman is that you have access to lots of tech and other useful tools, such good luck I have. Anyway, I turned it on and set its camera to Y/N and see where he was heading too.

Gloria's mind- I was and always watching you Y/N, and I never intend to stop until you are back with me.~

(Timeskip)

(Y/N's POV)

I crossed the huge, cold lake and found the patch of land with the grass that Marnie said to meet her at, and went on looking for her. It didn't seem that she was there so I went to the tree across from me to lie on until she showed up but then...

"Your on time Y/N.~"

Marnie walked behind the tree all nonchalant.

Y/N- You sure have interesting ways of meeting for a battle.

Marnie- I think this place is a good one, private in a way, and no one to interrupt us.

Y/N- All right then, let's get this started already.

Marnie- Thats what I like to hear, let's roll!

She went first and I grabbed Tsareena first.

Y/N's mind- Let's see how she is.

Some time and an intense battle later...

Whoa, not bad at all. She has unique tactics with her team and I lost Tsareena and Inteleon, but Gardevoir carried and kicked her last Pokemon's ass, I should reward her when I get the chance later.

Marnie- You are really skilled Y/N. I knew I was right to have a liking to you.

Y/N- Oh uh...thanks.

Marnie- *Giggles* That battle took care of the first repayment, and now...comes for the second.~

Y/N- Right, you never told me back at the gym about that, so what is it?

Marnie suddenly had a different look on her and walked towards me slowly with a blushed face. 

Y/N's mind- What's up with her all of a sudden?

But before I could let a word out of my mouth, she put both of her hands on my cheeks, put our faces closer, and...

*Smooch~*

Our lips were together and she began to kiss me, I felt my heart skip two beats and my face was warmer than ever before. Our tongues were together as well and I quickly got the hang of it, and I didn't feel like in reality for a solid minute. Eventually, she let me go and left me in a shocked state while looking at me with a loving look and smile.

Marnie- Was that your first time Y/N?~

All I did was nod in response.

Marnie- Well guess what. It was my first time too and I'm glad it was you, I mean that.~

Again, I nodded, the words couldn't reach me and leave my mouth.

Marnie- Well, the second repayment is done, now on my word let me take you to the town and show you a way to get in too. Come on.~

She grabbed my hand and led me there while laying her head on my shoulder while my head was spinning out of control.

Y/N's mind- A girl just kissed me?!?! My first kiss?!?

Could this mean...

I have a G-G-Girlfriend?!?!

Well, after a while, I have a new chapter for you kind folks, and just in time for Thanksgiving, this is like a holiday gift in a way, sort of but you know. Thank you for your patience and support too and I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

P.S.- Fun question: If Y/N had to spend Thanksgiving in the Mario, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, or the upcoming Persona 5 universes, which would be the best one and why? Just something fun to see responses to and for my own curiosity. Well, till then, stay safe and I will talk to you all later!!! :) :)
