(No POV)

As Y/N and Marnie were on their way to Hammerlocke, the two were chatting and catching up with one another telling about the progression of their journeys, like good friends. Until Marnie proved otherwise when a while ago, Y/N fell asleep as he was still a bit tired from waking up earlier and the heavy breakfast he had didn't help either so he was knocked out in a good sleep. Marnie saw an opportunity to get even closer to him as she grabbed his arm and pulled him closer to her and had his head lay on her shoulder, making her heart beat faster and her face blush red with a soft loving smile on her. To top it off, she got her phone and took a selfie of the two with her smiling at the camera doing a peace sign, she looked at the photo, downloaded it, and edited a message saying: "Partner for life.~"

She put her phone away and just lay next to him for the rest of the trip.

(Sometime later)

As much as she would have loved to stay like this forever, the train stopped and in a flash, Y/N quickly woke up, and Marnie let go of him and acted like everything was normal and prayed that he wouldn't ask questions which luckily for her, he never asked anything and just got his stuff ready to get out of the train. Both of them left the train got to the Hammerlocke terminal and entered the main entrance of the city, before they went their separate ways again, Y/N turned to face Marnie and said that he had a great chat with her and kinda apologized for falling asleep which Marnie quickly said it wasn't a big deal at all, no big deal in the slightest she thought to herself. Y/N then smiled and waved her goodbye and wished her luck on her journey, Marnie watched him run till she no longer saw him. As she began to walk, she looked at the sky and said in her thoughts.

Marnie's mind: "Today was the best day of my life, and I know soon, I will have that best day every day when Y/N becomes mine forever.~"

(Y/N's POV)

I walked over to the nearby Pokecenter that the map showed was in the center of Hammerlocke, so that's where I was heading to meet up with Oleana. While walking, I couldn't help but take in the views of the buildings, and the way the city looked, kinda reminds me of a medieval castle. I want to look around some more later if Oleana will let me, I'll ask her if I can sometime soon.

Y/N- What a view, oh there it is.

I made it to the center of town and I looked up and was just shocked by the view.

It looked so medieval yet freaking futuristic at the same time, damn the world of Pokemon can be awe at times. I snapped out of it and went inside the center and didn't see Oleana. Then I thought that she is running a bit late which is no problem, I'll just wait in the meantime. I got out my phone and played a game to pass some time, and not long after I got a text message from Nessa. I was surprised at first but then I remembered she gave me her number after my battle with her. I read the message and it said.

Nessa: "Hi Y/N how are you doing? We haven't talked in a while and wanted to check up on you since our last encounter. 

I texted her:

Y/N: "Well, everything has been a wild ride to say the least, and a major setback along the way but now I'm getting back in the game better than ever."

Nessa: "Oh that is great, I know you can do it. If you don't mind me asking, where are you?"

I wondered if I should answer that, it's not like she could get here quickly anyway as I think we won't be staying here for too long, but in the end, I said fuck it and replied to her question.

Y/N: "I'm at Hammerlocke doing some important business, and getting ready for my next gym soon."

Nessa- "Oh ok, just curious... that's all. Well, sorry for cutting it short but I gotta go now maybe we can meet up sometime for dinner maybe?"

Y/N- "Sure, I would love to."

Nessa-"Great, well talk to you soon Y/N. Bye!~"

Y/N- "See ya!"

After that little chat, I went back to my game but then I felt someone close to me.

"Did I keep you waiting Y/N?"

I turned to see that it was Oleana.

Y/N- Oh Oleana, uhh no not really. 

Oleana- Very well then, are you ready to begin?

Y/N- Yes.

Oleana- Then follow me.

We exited the Pokecenter and followed her wherever we were going, we turned to the castle from earlier and inside the huge building. It was more amazing inside as well as outside. There were plenty of people inside too, probably doing training and battles as well, Oleana then turned left to a room of some kind and when we entered inside, it was a huge room that had very green fields and other equipment. 

Oleana- Welcome to your personal training room Y/N, this is where you will spend your next few days training yourself to be the very best you can be. 

Y/N- Wow, did you set this whole thing up? 

Oleana- Yes I did, and they did a very good job getting everything you need to succeed. Now, just take a few minutes or so to take a look around the place and we can get started.

Exploring the place I did as I saw the green field farther than the eyes can see, training dummies, weights, training balls, and so much more. After I was done, I turned back to Oleana and was ready.

Y/N- Ok, I'm ready.

Oleana- Excellent, now first thing, let your team of Pokemon out of their Pokeballs.

Y/N- Ok, everyone out!

Oleana- Now, I may not be a professional at coaching, we'll get to that much later, but for now, I want you to do this today. Self-train yourself and your Pokemon.

Y/N- Huh?

Oleana- What I mean is that you get to be your own coach and do whatever you think is necessary training for your Pokemon, and I'll watch how you are doing so I can determine what course of action I can do for you next. Do you understand Y/N?

I mean, shoot I don't know anything about training management let alone training in general but I can try, first time for everything.

Y/N- Yeah, I think so.

Oleana- Good, now begin.

Oleana sat on a bench and I turned to my team to get started.

Y/N- Ok guys, now I may suck at this but let's give our best ok?

They let out cheers and that made me feel a bit confident already.

Y/N- Ok, now let's do some basic warmups.

(Timeskip)

(Oleana's POV)

It has been a few hours of him doing his own training and based on what I have seen so far, he needs many important improvements. He lacks the full discipline of a coach and often goofs off with his Pokemon and they turn training time into playtime in a sense. But what he does do right is that he has a strong bond with his Pokemon, especially his Kirlia and Steenee who did the hardest exercises than his other two and I believe they did this to impress Y/N and it worked. I wonder why that's the case but enough of that, I got the data I needed for the next step and which is hiring a personal trainer to teach Y/N how to coach properly and make his Pokemon stronger before his next gym challenge. 

Oleana's mind- I'll have to give her a call tonight so she can be ready tomorrow.

Well, I think that's enough training for now and I'm quite hungry, I'm sure Y/N is too so I'll take him out to lunch as a reward for his hard work, at least he tried anyways. But, it's kinda cute to see him in action.~

Oleana- Y/N.

He stopped what he was doing to face me.

Y/N- Yeah Oleana?

Oleana- I got everything I needed to see and will go over it with you much later, I'm getting hungry and wanted to see if you are too.

Y/N- Oh, yeah I'm starving, all that action is making me hungry.

Oleana- Very well, then get everything together and meet me outside ok?

Y/N- Got it.

I walked over to the exit of the room and waited for him, after a few minutes he showed up and we walked over to the other side of town where all of the restaurants are. He looked for a place he is interested in and I was ready to get him whatever he wants, he deserved it, he is my future champion after all so he must get what he wants.

Y/N- Hey Oleana, how about that place over there? 

He pointed to a nice-looking place that I know personally, it serves fine meat and fish dishes with an all-you-can-eat side and salad bar. Pricey but...anything for him.~

Oleana- If that's what you want then let's go Y/N.

Y/N- Yeah!

Oleana's mind- You are truly gonna make me proud soon Y/N, and we will be in the history book together.~

(Nessa's POV)

Sonia and I were running to the terminal station to catch our train for Hammerlocke since he told me where he is. Our plan is to find him and try to convince him to come with us and if the first plan doesn't work then we may have to do some "other" means of convincing. 

Nessa- Got what we need Sonia?

Sonia- Yes

Nessa- Good, we are almost there.

We soon got to the terminal and got to our seats before we were too late.

Nessa- It was sure nice of Y/N telling us where he is, makes it so much easier.

Sonia- It sure was, but we are gonna have dinner with him right?

Nessa- Oh, we are doing that, to not only let his guard down but also to spend time with him before we act on our plan. 

Sonia- Sounds good to me.

I nodded and not long after, the train began to take off and our trip begins. I turned to Sonia and had the same smile I had.

Sonia/Nessa- We're coming for you Y/N.~

Well, folks, I'm back and with a new chapter for the first time in forever, it seems like. But I'm grateful for the amount of support and patience you have for me, it makes me feel special for real.
