(Y/N's POV)

I snuck my way out of the stadium to find the restaurant Oleana told me to go to so we can meet, I exited the stadium and now was on my way but my phone rang and it was Gloria. I honestly didn't want to talk to her right now, especially after that big loss I took, nothing against her but that's how I feel right now so I ignored her call and continued on. After walking around the city some more and ignoring Gloria's calls again and again, I arrived at the restaurant and it was small yet fancy looking. I went to open the front doors but it was locked and I didn't know what to do so I tried calling Oleana to tell her that I'm there but she didn't answer me. I tried texting her and a few minutes later, nothing at all. I was going to call again but then, I saw the doors open with a Machoke standing there.

*Machoke sounds!*

Y/N- O-oh, hi Machoke, is Oleana there or something?

It nodded its head yes so I know I am at the right place.

Y/N- Cool, so can you take me to her?

The Machoke nodded yes and signaled me to follow and I did, while doing so I looked around the place, it was almost dark but there was dimmed lighting from the chandeliers, wall lamps, and staircase lights, this place had a feeling of class. Like soft carpets everywhere, shiny walls, floors, and fine-looking benches everywhere, basically the stuff from a city restaurant lounge back home. We went to a grand staircase where the top floor was full of empty tables, creepy to see them when not in a full house, the Machoke pointed to a large booth table and signaled me to go there which I nodded to it and walked over there when I got the booth table, I took a seat and now was waiting for her to show up. But then,  I got multiple messages from Gloria and it read:

"Y/N, are you there?"

"Why aren't you answering your phone, are you in trouble?"

"Y/N, please call me back or text me for god's sake!!"

"Y/N, this isn't funny, answer me..right now mister."

The messages came faster than I could read them and the phone calls continued on. At this point, I wanted to just answer and come up with a bullshit lie, but then she will find me and probably kick my ass...or worse.

Y/N- Oh god.

I was about to text at least one message to her but then,

"Looks like you're having a dilemma aren't you Y/N?"

I looked up to see Oleana holding a fancy box of some kind.

Y/N- O-oh Ms.Oleana, I-I was just...

Oleana- No need to explain yourself Y/N, it's not your fault that phone of yours was distracting you but I would rather not have it out when we are about to eat and discussing 'business' of ours ok?

Y/N- I understand.

Oleana- Good, now I'll hold on to it and I will give it back when we are done, hand it, please.

I gave her the phone and she was going to shut it off but it took her some time to do so which I was questioning it, but I came here wanting to get another chance, won't want to screw it up again.

Oleana- Now that I have our phones shut off, it's just you and me now Y/N.

Y/N- Yeah.

Oleana- Now, anything you want to eat and drink?

(Timeskip)

(Gloria's POV)

I kept trying to call Y/N but every time I did, he hasn't answered me and even texting didn't do any better, what happened? Ever since his big loss to Kabu, he disappeared again, he must be so ashamed to face me because he thinks ill be disappointed in him. But that's not the case at all, I love him too much to do such a thing, I would've run to him, hugged him, told him everything was fine and made him feel better. I want to find him but I can't risk losing my place in the challenges what I can do is...beat Kabu for him. I want to make Kabu regret he made my hubby lose unfairly, I knew he cheated somehow.

Gloria's mind- Don't worry Y/N, I'll bring the badge to you and show you how devoted I am to you.~

(Nessa's POV)

I saw Y/N's battle with Kabu and I knew something fishy right away, like only using one Pokemon, that's something no gym leader has ever done, and I thought using three was odd for me. Also, the pokemon itself was way too strong to be in a minor-league battle.

Nessa- Nothing is making sense.

Sonia- What's not making sense?

Nessa- The Pokemon Kabu used in the battle, I know it's something Kabu never had before, and I have battled with him several times and he didn't have one till now.

Sonia- You are right about that, that Pokemon is a Cinderace, and only someone from the champion league would have and Kabu is not one of them last time I checked.

Nessa- Then how did he get one just in time for the battle?

Sonia- So far, I know he must've got one from someone, no way he did an evolution so fast. 

Nessa- Yeah, but while on the subject, Y/N must be so devasted by his loss, let's go find him and comfort him, and maybe get him to be ours along the way.

Sonia- I like that plan, let's go right now. 

(Timeskip)

(No POV)

Oleana's plan was coming along well, getting Y/N to agree with her and setting terms for their almost closed "apprenticeship" deal between the two of them, so no expense was spared. She got a bunch of Machoke's to bring out dinner carts of quality foods for him to choose from, a soda/juice fountain of vast options of drinks. The gift she got Y/N was nothing short of luxe, Y/N at first didn't believe that was for him but with a little 'persuading', he wore it and Oleana thought looked good on him.

They were the best small gifts and that wasn't the end of gifts for him but that was for later, right now was business and she was close to the deal.

Oleana- Am I making sense now Y/N?

Y/N- ...

Oleana- By the end, you will the best of the best and that's all I want to do for you, all I need for you is your dedication, hard work, and willingness to learn every day. So, what's it gonna be Y/N?

Y/N- And everything we talked about will be in effect during all this?

Oleana- Correct and I won't do anything to make your progress stop, I only want it to grow over time, I promise.

Y/N thought hard on this one and when he thought of possible other options, he didn't come up with anything else, so there was only one thing to do.

Y/N- Oleana...

Oleana- Hmm?

Y/N had his head down and made his decision.

Y/N- Thank you for giving me the second chance you gave me and for that, I am grateful for this day and will be under your care from here on out.

Oleana stood up and lifted his head to face her with a very rare smile on her, she giggled which was also rare for the woman.

Oleana- It's official then, we start first thing tomorrow afternoon but right now, let's celebrate with dessert!

*Snap!*

She snapped her fingers and two Machokes brought a huge tower of creampuffs on a silver platter, Y/N was filled with joy and relief for his second chance, now he had to work hard for his title of champion, then once he holds that title, it will be time for him of another adventure. 

...He doesn't realize what kind of a situation he has put himself in. 

(Oleana POV)

VICTORY!! VICTORY!! VICTORY!! I now have Y/N under my protection and care now, and no one will get in the way now, especially with that pathetic girl he was with the whole time, holding him back to what he can truly be, well no more. I was watching him eating cream puffs and drinking sugary drinks to his heart contents but it was all worth it. But, like with all things in life, it all comes with a price and his second chance offer was no exception but the price has already been paid for, him.~

Oleana's Mind- Now, let the training begin.~
