(Y/N's POV)

We walked all around the place and it sure was very peaceful he took me to the windmill and had me look at the field filled with life and Wooloos walking about.

Hop- Pretty chili town we have huh?

Y/N- Yup, it's not this way where I'm from. 

Hop- Where do you come from? 

Y/N- Oh...Uhhh...Kanto Region?

Hop - Kanto, that's cool. Maybe there are some pokemon that are not from here?

Y/N- You got that right Hop.

Hop- *Laughs* Your cool Y/N, now that showed you pretty much the whole town, wanna meet a friend of mine I said earlier?

Y/N- Sure, I'm sure they're cool.

Hop- Great! Come on!

He ran way ahead of me and it took me off guard and had to chase him to catch up with him, and I don't want to get lost here. We ran for quite some time till we arrived at a cozy-looking home with some plants growing around it.

Hop- Here we are!

Y/N- *Panting* H-how do you have *Pant Pant* this much energy anyway. *Pant*

Hop- I don't know but it's always been a part of my personality, been that way since I was a kid!

Y/N- Looks like it, well let's go in then.

Hop- Ok!

We walked inside and he knocked on the door, I was nervous but I'm sure whoever they are is cool. Then a woman opened the door which I assume is this person's mom. 

"Oh hello, Hop. Good to see you again."

Hop- Hi again!

"So who's your friend here?"

Hop- His name is Y/N L/N, he just came here from the Kanto Region!

Y/N- Yeah, what he said, and nice to meet you, ma'am.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Y/N. Come in kids and take a rest, Gloria is upstairs getting her stuff ready.

Hop- Great!

Y/N- Cool.

We walked inside the house and looked very nice and cozy, I walked around the place and saw the living room, and had a cat-like pokemon.

It looked at me and I walked slowly to it so I don't get it pissed, the cat walked up to me slowly as well and tried my best not to scare it. Then the cat let me pet its head and lowered my guard down and began to play with the pokemon. Then, I heard my switch beep and I took it out and saw it had some info on who this Pokemon was. 

"Purrloin, the Devious Pokemon."

Y/N's mind- Pretty fast Pokemon, I'm sure it has to do with the Devious part.

Gloria's mom- So, you seem to get along with Purrloin pretty fast Y/N.

I saw the mom walking close to me and the Purrloin rubbed close to me.

Y/N- Yeah, maybe it's because I love cats.

Gloria's mom- I see then. Well, do you want some curry to eat?

Y/N- Curry? I had never had it before and I am hungry.

Gloria's mom- Then let me make you some and try it for the first time.

Y/N- Oh, it's alright ma'am, I don't need to mean to make a hassle.

Gloria's mom- Oh please, it's no trouble to me at all, and it's good to meet a new face around here. 

Y/N- Then...thanks for the offer, I'll have some.

Gloria's mom- That's good to hear, now let me prepare the ingredients and I'll call you when it's done. Make yourself at home Y/N.

Y/N- Thank you.

She walked over to the kitchen and I stayed in the living room, sat down on the couch with Purrloin next to me, and pulled out my switch to play some Mario bros.

(Timeskip)

Gloria's mom- Y/N! IT'S READY!

Y/N- On my way!

I got up and walked over to the kitchen to see a plate of curry and it looked very tasty.

Gloria's mom- I hope you enjoy it, it's called toast curry.

Y/N- Wow, I can't wait to find out.

I sat down at the kitchen table and took my spoon to get a big scoop of the curry. I slowly chewed on it and...

Y/N's mind- OH MY GOD! SO GOOD!!

I ate the curry like it was crack, it was that good.

Y/N- *Eating sounds*

5 minutes later...

Y/N- *Small burp* Done!

Gloria's mom- Wow! You really liked it.

Y/N- Oh man, that was good. Thanks.

Hop- Hey! Is that toast curry I smell?!

Hop came out of nowhere and made himself known already, I didn't even remember him being here for a while. I don't know what's up with that.

Gloria's mom- I just made some for Y/N here, I have enough for you hop.

Hop- Gee thanks!

Hop ran to the chair and waited till he got his plate and he began to chow down on the curry, this must be his favorite curry. 

Y/N- This is very cool, to say the least, being here.

Hop- Yeah? Well, wait till you meet my brother Leon, he would make your visit here even better.

Y/N- Can't wait till I meet him.

Gloria's mom- The grand champion himself, can't wait to see him again. And speaking of him, I need to go check on Gloria for a sec, be right back boys.

She went upstairs and I felt Purrloin rub my legs and I carried her to my arms and petted her to pass the time. Not long after, we heard some footsteps coming down here and I saw both Gloria's mom and...

Gloria herself.

Hop- Oh hi Gloria!

Gloria- Hi Hop!

She went to him and high-fived one another but then she looked straight at me with curiosity.

Gloria- And...who is this?

Y/N- Hi, Uhh I'm...Y/N. Y/N L/N.

Gloria's mom- He's new around here and came from Kanto. I just introduced him to some curry and he just...loved it.

Y/N- You bet, she makes some good food.

Gloria- Well, my mum is always the cook around these parts so that's kind of you to say. Oh, and nice to meet you Y/N. Welcome to the Galar region.

Gloria then talked to her mom for a sec while I checked on Hoothoot and he seemed to be doing fine. 

Hop- Well, I say we should go out there and see if my brother is here, he said around 4 pm so come you guys, let's go!

We walked out of the house and followed the two to wherever we were going, it was to some kind of train station of sorts. Then, we saw a big ass crowd gathering around and had no clue what was going on.

Y/N- What's the occasion?

Gloria- Hop's brother Leon is the grand Pokemon champion and he dreams of battling him one day.

Y/N- Must be a strong trainer.

Gloria- Oh he is, and I cant wait to see what is gonna happen? Say, wanna come along with me? Maybe...if you wish.

Y/N- Uhh...yeah I do. I always wanted to have an adventure here, heck yeah!

(Gloria's POV)

Even though Hop is gonna be my rival in this journey, something tells me that Y/N will be an equally interesting rival too but also, I think he will be a good companion to have along with me. I have a good feeling about Y/N...

Gloria's mind- And I can't wait to see what kind of trainer he is.~ 

(No POV)

As the three walked towards the crowd, the cheering began as they saw a tall figure wearing a cap and has a Charizard beside him.

This man walked towards the three and smiled at Hop.

Hop- Leon!

Leon- Good to see you again hop. How have you been lately?

Hop- I've been training non-stop for this moment, I cant wait to begin my way to the legends.

Leon- *Chuckle* Ah, I see you haven't lost your spirit at all, thats good. And who are these two?

Hop- Oh, this is Gloria and this is Y/N L/N, he is new to Galar.

Leon- Nice to meet you Gloria and Y/N, and welcome to the beautiful Galar region.

Y/N- Thanks, cool Charzrd by the way.

Leon- Thanks, he is one of my best in the battle gyms. Well, I hope you three are prepared cause I got something to show you, and let's just say that it will help you in your Journeys. Follow me. 

The three followed him just after he got through his crowd of fans around him, he took them to Hops house and took out three Pokeballs. Which pokemon are gonna pop out? Which ones will the three choose? It will be revealed soon.
