At a slumber party, Analeese and James were talking with my parents. Sera and I were sitting in the same room, just texting each other and having a conversation.

"You gonna tell your parents?" I text.

"Yeah. I don't care what my parents say."

"I hope that they accept you."

Sera stands up; after she gets their attention, she kisses me. Not a regular kiss, but a French kiss. Tongue and all.

It was hot.

"I'm gay, and I'm proud!" Sera announces, grinning like an idiot. Mom and Dad clap. So does Charlotte, surprisingly. Sera's parents look shocked.

"What the hell?" James asked.

"Emily and I are in love," Sera says.
