When we get back to school, Sera asks me if she should come out to her parents. I think about it for a bit, "do you want to?"

"I'm scared of their reactions," she mumbles, picking at her applesauce. We were eating lunch at the time.

"I'm scared too," I mumble, frightened.

"I don't want them to disown me," she says, shaking a bit. I hold her close to my body, and Scarlet shows up with Raven.

"What's up?" Scarlet asks us. Raven guesses the situation accurately. Scarlet's mouth forms a little "o," and they sit down.

We sit in silence as the suspense weighs down on us.
