On and off the Merry-Go-Round

A smudge of blood was still on shining on her cheek. She thought she wiped it all off. But she didn't. Her hazel eyes looked on at me with a predatory gaze. Not like a cat looked at a mouse. But more like how a drunkard needed wine.

I was sure it was time to get out of the bath. My body rose to leave, but her eyes had total control over my every move. I quickly sat back in the sweet milk bath. She leaned forward and stalked towards me. My arousal heightened quicker and quicker by the second. The more I looked into her eyes, the more I wanted her bent over in my bed, endlessly giving her what she craved. Her body rose from the bath and just a glance had stiffened me to a point of no return.

She drew blood from me for a while before she threw her head back in ecstacy, laughing like a maniac. She straightened her body and gave me a sexy bloody grin. I took her lips in mine and kissed her, our sexual tension visible and growing every second. I felt her push herself down on my lap and I sighed, realizing she had just forced herself down, probably hurting herself but the look in her eyes embodied the opposite of pain. I left bloody bruises all along her chest and sucked around her breast until the skin was a deep shade of purple.

Her seductive nature was driving me wild on a completely new level and I loved every moment of it. She began to move up and down on my lap and roughly bite me in places I didn't even know I liked. I wanted to push her backward so badly and really show her a great time but I liked her right where she was-

A sudden knock came through the heavy wooden door. That was a very erotic moment that would be rekindled another time. However, my heavily stiffened member probably couldn't. Cherry let herself in and closed the door behind her. She came in front of me and sat on top of my desk. She was waving her hand in front of my eyes but immediately stopped when she looked into my eyes. Was I that easy to read that she gave me a sad face? " Sorry. We should continue to look for Katelyn tonight, was all I really came to say." I nodded, agreeing. She didn't seem like herself in that moment. Not happy but also not callous. She also was fidgeting, touching things and playing with her hair.

I tread carefully with my question " How's Iris?" She clearly blushed to that, but looked me dead in the eye " She's alright. We kinda.. we kinda got into a little fight but we'll get through it and put it behind us. " She murmured, shortly

Ruby was the only girl I knew who hadn't caught any feelings for me...she liked girls. Well, mostly at least but I'd never seen her crush or hit on a guy. She was very feminine and sweet but that was dependent on her mood. In a fight, she transcended all "rules" of femininity although we both hated those stupid rules. I gave her a concerned look. We never kept anything from each other and this if anything wasn't a private matter or at least to me.She wouldn't meet my eyes for a while.

I started to hear her sniffle and I pulled my chair closer to the desk. I grabbed tissue and handed some to her. It was light but for her to even gently break down like this was rare and it meant that little fight could've been something huge. She got up and covered her eyes. It most definitely was hard to see her like this . She supported her body on the back of my chair after walking around my room. Her voice was high and thick with tears." Tristan... Iris doesn't want to marry me anymore." She cried. She just leaned against the wall and sunk into her feelings.

Iris had called off their engagement. " She... she's seeing someone else now." she mumbled, sniffling into her cobalt sleeve. I stood and left the room. Cherry ran after me, knowing but pulled me back. " Please, let it go. If she doesn't have feelings for me any more there's nothing left to fight for. As my friend, please. It's okay." She cried. Some guards and servants looked at us in uncertainty. I took her to her room and stayed with her there until she calmed down.

My clothes were ugly and dirty at this point. My cuts and bruises had barely healed at all and I desperately needed some sort of pleasure. It was dark, damp and unnecessarily warm where I was aggressively chained to a wall. He was the man that loved me but his eyes and persona were all wrong. I knew it. A bowl of blood fed to me was rusty and dented in the corner somewhere and everything from the smell to the guards being posted at the door told me I'd made it into the castle... just not in the way I initially hoped. I heard whispers and I knew he was coming. The doors slammed shut and I heard his footsteps come closer and closer. His dark waves were the same I gripped when we were intimate, his lips that I couldn't seem to look away from. But his pure black eyes were foreign to me. He lifted the gate that was between us and made no move to come towards me." I finally figured out who you are, sweetie." he whispered, chuckling. " Now, before I tell you, feel honored for just one second that I spent one entire day only piecing together your existence."

" And what is it that you think you know about me?" He stood and simply smiled. He stepped forward and didn't stop until his lips were to my ear " For 3 weeks you've been a mystery but there was always something about you but I should've known. You're Katherine. The Last Prince's beloved and only daughter. An heir to the throne, no less. But since you were found the same day the prince came home, it wasn't hard to piece together that you were his. " He gave me an endearing look, gently grabbing my face " And because you're in love with him and he's been acting very strange, I won't hurt you. I'm not here for that and I'm not into it either." I let out an internal sigh of relief. I wasn't sure of what would happen or how long I would be here. He turned around and stepped outside of my cell and let the gate down.

" But Katherine... no one knows you're here. Not my brother... not my dad, who if you didn't know wants you dead... Yup. But I'm not telling them you're here either."

My heart felt like it had sunk into the ground. " Why?" I whispered, almost in tears.

He sighed and looked absolutely bored. " Because, princess, I hate my brother. But I don't want to see you die either. And when the time comes, I'll use you as bait, ransom and/or if I'm feeling really evil, I'd trade you freedom to assassinate my family. Including my brother. But only if it comes to that." He yawned and lazily walked out, leaving in pure shock.
