Lucy's POV

I hear the swish swish of my tail behind me as I walk a couple more yards to our standard meeting place. I was pretty excited for the weekly meeting of me and my she-wolf friend. I'd give her a bag, she'd bring me books, and we'd chat about them for a while.

The name of this curious little bookworm (who found me by popping out of a bush and asking me if I was a reader) is Levy McGarden, even though I would always joke that it would be Redfox one day.

She's a werewolf with a periwinkle blue coat with a head adorned by a yellow headband. And her human form is even more adorable!! Anyway, my name is Lucy Heartfilia, and my inner wolf's name is Celeste. I live in the woods next to the famous packs of Sabertooth and Fairy Tail.

My aunts and uncles live with me, and though they have no pups, Uncle Loke and Aunt Aries may have some pups in about six months, and most of us are really excited and there would be more excitement if Aunt Aries would freaking tell Uncle Loke he was going to be a father. Surprised he can't tell cause her smell is different.

Aunt Aquarius and Uncle Scorpio are okay I guess, Aquarius keeps on nagging me about wanting great nieces and nephews, and a mate that's "just as handsome and charming as her dear husband Scorpio". I would like to be a mate and not be a loner since my birthday's in a couple of days and I'll be 20.

Therefore, making me a loner. I'd hate to be a loner, and I love the idea of having my own pups...Levy's so lucky. She already found her mate Gajeel, and from her scent one time when she visited, they've mated already.

Speaking of her scent, I smell it right now, signaling that she's close. But there's another scent with her... it's different. I raise my head high as she bursts through a bush. I rush over to her, and my eyebrows furrow in concern because she's crying.

"L-Lu-chan" she gasps in between her tears. "I-I need your h-help." She buries her head into my shoulder, both of us switching to human form so I can comfort her better. I stroke her hair and attempt to soothe her so she can tell me what's wrong. Maybe I'll get to punch someone today.

She calms down enough to look at me with pleading eyes. "I need you to come with me. To my pack. I need to tell Gajeel something..." she trails off. I bend down even more to look her in the eyes, and I ask, "Why? You know I don't want to leave my family."

Summoning all her courage to tell me, she replies, "Because I need to tell my mate I'm having puppies." My eyes widen in shock, and I pick her up and we spin around, I'm so glad I'll get to be an Auntie! Then, a bit suddenly, I stop, realizing what I have to do. Leave my family.

She waves her hands frantically, reading my eyes. "Nonono! You don't have to leave them...they can come with us. I talked with the Alpha, and he said that it's fine if you guys join our pack!" She knows me so well.

I mean, it's not a bad idea. We'll need someone to help when Aries has her puppies because Aquarius swore not the deliver any more children ever since my mother died after I was born. And maybe...just maybe... I'll find my mate there. I really don't want to be a loner.

Nodding, she follows me back to where my family is hiding. We live in three giant trees that are right next to each other and hollow, and we don't have any sort of storehouse. So it should be easy to make the change.

Stepping into the clearing, I hear an angry growl from Aunt Aquarius' and Uncle Scorpio's hut. But there's only Aries and Aquarius there... she must have told Aunt Aquarius that she didn't tell Uncle Loke that she was pregnant yet.

"JUST BE A WOMAN!!! YOU HAVE TO SET A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR LUCY!!" She shouts as they walk outside of the tree. Aunt Aries stutters curiously, "W-who's t-this Lucy?"

"My name is Levy—"

I elbow her and cut her off.

"Redfox. She came here to ask if we wanted to join her pack." I snicker, and she pouts. "Yeah, okay. Maybe this girl telling her mate she's pregnant will give Aries the courage to tell Leo." The blue haired woman says, motioning her chin to Levy. "Just lemme get the boys." She says as she walks off.

Levy, after picking up her jaw from the ground, chokes out, "How did she know?" Aunt Aries and I both burst out laughing. "Aqua has a really good sense of smell, you see." Giggles my pink haired auntie.

Watching her pout even more, I turn around. "Let's go. Aquarius will be able to track us with that nose of hers." Levy states, shifting. I shift too, and so does Aries into her bubblegum pink wolf form. I break into a slow jog, having more than just two wolves to travel with. Following Levy's faint scent, we run side by side, with Aries on our tails.

Hearing her pants, I stop at the border of their territory. I'm about to enter the territory of another pack, and it means that I'm their property if I enter their den and submit to their alpha. Well, it's for my best friend and her puppies.

Stepping over the border, I feel my sense of independence lower a bit, and my cooperative abilities raise in turn to that. Slowing down, I let Levy take the lead and she happily ambles to the den. It's surrounded in a bunch of trees, and I can see makeshift platforms on them.

"There aren't any defenders because today is our Alpha's 20th birthday." Explains Levy. "A-are they already m-mated yet?" Questions Aries, giving me 'the look'.

"No, his official birthday is in a couple of hours. He's almost a loner."

"Ha, so just like Lucy!"

"Will you guys shut up? We're by the den. Levy, you go first."

"Sure, okay!"

Third person Pov

The wolves of Fairy Tail stop celebrating when they hear bickering outside.

"...couple of hours....loner"

"....so....like Lucy!"

"....up you guys!.....den. Levy....go first!"

".....Okay!"

The periwinkle coated wolf burst through the guild doors, her black coated mate rushing towards her and enveloping her in a hug.
