Cards and Stage look at the A4 poster pinned to their door by one of the younger kids.

"Among Us Night

had been written messily in a green highlighter and a red pen used to have dripping blood.

"Honestly it's good considering Les, Lucky and Tumbler have horrible handwriting,"Stage comments and goes it their room.

"How'd you know it's by Les, Lucky and Tumbler wrote it?"

"It said their names at the bottom,"Stage replies and Cards nods.

"You reckon they'll asked Davey how to spell mandatory?"Cards asks.

"I'd be impressed if they didn't."

The girl look at each other for a few seconds. Then drop onto their knees and look under neither bunkbed. Underneath was a bag with Cards' things in it and beside it was a double bed blow up mattress messily bundled together. They pull the blow up mattresses out from under the bed.

"You text the Newsies group chat about the Game Night and I'll get the stuff out,"Cards sighs and starts to pull out the blowup mattress.

Stage nods and pulls out her phone showing a picture of her and Cards grinning cheekily at the camera with their arms around each other's shoulders with the Brooklyn Docks in the background. Cards had ruffled up Stage's hair and pulled her baseball cap over her face. Whilst Stage had put some of her ice cream on Cards's face so ice cream covered her eyes, mouth and nose.

She grins at the picture and opens up the group chat.

Stage smiles and puts her phone down on charge. She sits down beside Cards and starts to blow up the mattress.

"What does stfu mean?"

Cards pauses dragging a bean bag out of the wardrobe and looks at Stage suspiciously. "Who told you that?"she asks.

"The Newsies of New Dork group chat,"Stage replies nervously. "What does it mean?"

"Shut the f-word up,"Cards replies and opens her phone up to the group chat.

Her lock screen was a picture of her and Stage trying to balance on one skateboard together with Stage on her back in the middle of a street at 3am. She smiles at the memory of trying to take it. The older girl opens her phone and goes to the Newsies of New Dork group chat.

Cards smiles at the group chat and closes her phone again the starts to pull out the bean bag again. "Why are they like this?"she sighs, shaking her head a little.

"Because they're in looooooooooveeeeeeeeeee,"Stage replies, mockingly batting her eyelashes. Cards turns around and laughs.

"Remember getting all the couples together?"

"That was so much fun. You think we'll get invited to the weddings?"Stage asks happily, starting to imagine the romantic moments.

"I hope I don't."

"Why?"

"Because you can't crash a wedding if you're already invited."

Half an hour had passed since dinner and several charging points were set up with a small table and snacks in the middle of the table. Stage and Cards were sat on the bottom bunk, Stage's bed, as the others joined their server. They'd joined up in couples/best friends.

Romeo, Specs, Tommy Boy and Finch (cyan/teal with the beanie - BirdBoys)
Charlie and Skittery (brown with the bear ears - SkittlesAndBlank)
Les, Lucky and Tumbler (red with devil horns - Innocence)
Mike, Ike, JoJo and Boots (purple with the purple balloon - TwinsCo)

With Smokes and Ace there to make sure nothing got too chaotic but were watching over Charlie and Skittery's shoulder for most of it.

Each of them were contently staring at their screens, determined to win. Stage and Cards lock eyes with each other as their screen shows the impostor sign. Only one impostor. Their little avatar appearing in the Cafeteria. Black with a cherry on top. A mixture of theirs called S&C.

The pair move their avatar carefully towards the electrical. They spot the username Spralmer appear above a lime avatar. Stage nods for the kill button and Cards clicks it, venting immediately after. They click the arrow for going to security and resurface as the fifteen second kill cool down begins.

"Sabotage O2,"Stage whispers and Cards nods. It didn't seem peculiar for groups to be whispering amongst each other. Elmer was curled up in Albert's arms whispering to him as they spoke. The kill cooldown finally reaches zero and they sabotage the O2. The girls move their avatar towards the admin room to find the pink "Writers" avatar already there. Cards clicks the kill button and immediately heads for the vents.

Both girls grin to each other as they see Katherine and Sarah whispering to each other.

Spot glares at the screen as Stage and Cards vent away only to leave the Writers ghost there. Everyone looks to Romeo since he let out a small screech and a reported body is called.

The group glance at each other and Spralmer and Sarah and Katherine move over to the corner. Everyone's eyes widen. Two dead already.

Where? Pops up on the screen from Javie, most likely typed by Davey due to the good grammar. The Newsies has a deal that no matter what they'd never speak during a round, only typing.

electrical BirdBoys types back.

Stage and Cards fake frown at each other.

It's a little bit sus you were in electrical and not going to admin when the countdown was on 15secs... Stage types. BirdBoys sends the girls a glare and Cards sends a stronger one back. "Don't glare at Stage,"she mouths whilst Stage tries to give an annoyed glare back.

They ain't wrong Innocence types

We're voting for BirdBoys then TwinsCo replies.

No! BirdBoys types back.

Yes SmallSniper types back

Stage and Cards click off of the chat and vote for BirdBoys. A few seconds passed and it shows several black figures appearing below BirdBoys and one below Javie and one below SmallSniper. The two sneakily bump fists as the BirdBoys avatar gets ejected.

They begin to walk around as the other Newsies glare at each other in confusion and mocking suspicion. Cards points to Charlie and Skittery's character downloading data in the Navigation room. Stage presses the kill button and immediately escapes for the vents. They resurface in the Shields area.

They start to go the electrical again but stop once they spot Innocence running around. The Innocence avatar starts to move to MedBay and Stage and Cards follow. Innocence goes past the MedBay and heads for the Emergency Meeting button. Stage hits the kill button and runs to the vent in the Cafeteria.

They reappear in the Weapons room. Starting to run down to Reactor where they spot TwinsCo. Cards presses the kill button and the dead body reported screen comes up.

Charlie, Skittery, Mike, Ike, Boots, JoJo, Les, Lucky and Tumbler move to the corner, glaring daggers at the group left behind them.

"Welcome to the dead club,"Race scribbles on a small whiteboard with a blue marker Cards and Stage had in the corner of their room.

Who? Javie types.

Where? Stitches types.

SmallSniper was chasing us Stitches accuses. Originally Stage and Cards had given a look to accuse Stitches of chasing them but Stitches had done it for them. Smalls and Sniper glares at Stitches and JoJo cringes.

Vote SmallSniper? Stage types.

Non non non SmallSniper types back, looking slightly alarmed.

SmallSniper is soon ejected and the game continues. Stage and Cards glance at each other nervously. Javie was often quite good at sussing out the impostor, mainly Davey though. Crutchie did the tasks and Jack moved around for them. Cards starts to move around the avatar and starts to look for another player to kill. Stitches would most likely be in admin and Javie would be in security. Cards moves them to security. She moves the small character towards the cameras.

They press the kill button together and fist bump as the Victory sign comes up.

"You guys are honestly so mean," Jack pouts. Davey laughs and kisses his forehead.

"It's alright Cowboy,"he replies and Jack begins to grumble some more.

A few more rounds pass and the Newsies finally get to the "Teams" round.

Brooklyn - Skittery, Spot, Smokes and Ace (dark blue with zip)
Jacobs - Sarah, Davey and Les (pink (to Davey's disapproval) with cherry (again with Davey's disapproval))
Children's - Lucky and Tumbler (purple with party hat)
Girls - Katherine, Smalls and Sniper (white with plant)
MacKay - Charlie and Cards (black with ninja mask)
Chaotic - Jack, Race, Albert (red with heart over head)
Manhattan - Henry, Tommy Boy, Finch, Specs and Boots (brown with dum sticker)

The round begins and Sunshine 2 looks at their screens. An impostor along with Sunshine 1. Clearly the game knew who to pair up.

Cards looks up briefly at Stage and they look eyes for a few seconds. Cards looks into the reflection of Stage's glasses and smiles at her then goes back to her own game.

Sunshine 2 wonders around the map nervously. Looking for someone to politely turn into a ghost as they liked to call it. Mike subtly points to the brown and pink characters in Navigation along with Sunshine 1. The two Sunshine group look at each other then press the kill button. Both Sunshine's venting as the red and purple avatar walks in. A split second later before Chaotic and Children can press the report button Brooklyn walk in. Immediately calling an emergency meeting.

Vote for Chaotic then call a meeting and vote for Children Brooklyn types.

A few seconds later a few colourful images pop up underneath Chaotic and two underneath Brooklyn.

Chaotic was not an impostor

Cards immediately presses the Emergency Meeting Button and the Newsies go back to a Meeting.

The remaining groups soon eject Brooklyn.

MacKay walks along and past Sunshine 1. Cards smiles at the team members but her smile fades as they kill their avatar and vent away.

(A/N for those of you who don't know Cards and Charlie are half Chinese (like me) and speak, read and write fluently in Cantonese (unlike me) I will not be providing a translation)

"媽媽他媽的兒子子的兒子!"Cards yells in frustration. Charlie slaps the back of her head and she yelps.

The Newsies awkwardly turn their attention back to their devices and start playing again.

Stage guides the character around the area, careful not to go anywhere that they knew a dead body was.

Soon, they come across a vent and jump in it. They resurface in electrical in front of Girls and Girls starts to run towards the door. Mike immediately sabotages the door and Ike presses the kill button. Winning the game for the impostors.

"You're all so mean,"Tumbler mutters bitterly.

The Newsies laugh.

Cards shoves the blow up mattress into the wardrobe and flops onto Stage's bunk beside her. "That was fun,"the smaller girl giggles.

"I think I get why the boys say we can read each other's minds,"Cards laughs.

"What did you and Charlie say to each other in Chinese earlier?"Stage asks.

Cards pales. "For the legal protection of your innocence I'm not allowed to say."

Stage frowns. "Mean,"she mumbles and eats another raspberry.
