"These people always host one or the other party."

"Then don't come inside." Melissa shrugged.

"Who said I didn't wanted to attend one?" I laughed.

"Hi." Mike and Alex waved at us as they passed by us.

"Look at Louis." Melissa whispered to me as she pointed to a boy.

"Who is he?" I asked confused. I think so I have seen him before.

"Remember that cute barista I was talking about? Yes, Louis is that cute barista."she said as she fiddled with her hair. I started teasing her as we walked towards Louis.

"Bye. Catch up with me later."she said as she walked away with Louis.

"Hi Kate." I shouted at her as I saw her and the group sitting on chairs nearby. We both were from same school and we were quite good friends until we parted our ways during our cheerleading times due to some silly differences. Although it doesn't mattered now in college, our friendship got revived soon. Might not be as good as we were before but we still got together and even sometimes used to sit together in college.

"What are you all doing?" I asked her as she smiled at me.

"Just gossiping and playing some silly games." Bella laughed.

"May I join?" I joined in their laughter.

"Haha sure." Brianna said as she shifted herself making space for me to sit.

"Jake wants to play truth or dare. Anyone else?" Kate asked us.

"Well I guess yes." Charlotte said as she looked at all of us nodding.

At that instant, someone kept their palms on my eyes.

"Who is it?" I asked in a confuse tone.

"Aah Ron and Trevor. Guys how have you been? Huh Ronny?" Kate teased as I assumed it might be them.

"Eww no Ronny." Ron made faces as he walked near Kate and hugged her as I removed Trevor's hands from my eyes.

"Well well well, who invited you two to this party?" Kate asked.

"Melissa." Ron said. "And Ava." Trevor said as he looked at me.

"Ava, you didn't said Melissa was here." Kate looked at me as she made space for Ron to sit.

"Come on, I just came here and I didn't even uttered a word. Only if you would have given me a chance to speak." I shrugged and laughed.

"Hey all, you guys know about me, Ava and Melissa being schoolmates but now we have two more of our schoolmates here. Ron and Trevor." Kate introduced them.

"Where's Melissa?" Kate asked me.

"With her boyfriend." I smiled.

"Uhuh so I guess we might have to start this game without Melissa." Kate said.

"Where will you sit? Find yourself a seat." Bella asked as Trevor made me stand up. He sat in my place as he then made me sit on his lap.

"So what are you all playing?" Trevor whispered in my ears.

"Truth or dare." I whispered in Trevor's ear as Jake spinned bottle.

"Justin it is." Jake laughed.

"I love to remain safe, so truth it is for me." Justin laughed.

"What's the meanest thing you have done recently?" Charlotte asked instantly.

"Ugh, such a boring question." Jake and Kate shouted.

"Wait till you get the answer." Bella said. "Come on answer fast." Bella shouted after a short pause.

"I... it was me who...stop it." Justin stammered.

"Come on, you have to answer it." Charlotte laughed.

"Afterall how hard it can be, tell fast." Jake commanded.

"It was me who chopped out all of your hair the other day. It was a dare. It was a dare." Justin kept shouting that it was a dare as we all burst out laughing except Jake, Trevor and Ron. Afterall, Trevor and Ron didn't knew our college mates.

"Be cautious mate, next time it will be me chopping off your hair." Jake looked angrily at Justin.

"You all asked the right question, that day is still clear in my head as if it just happened yesterday. Jake was literally shouting on top of his lungs asking who made him bald." Kate laughed.

"Next time onwards, it's a dare for me." Justin said as he rolled his eyes.

"Here it goes." Justin shouted as he spinned the bottle.

"Kate." Justin shouted as Kate smiled at him.

"I'll prefer dare." Kate said.

"Give the guy to your right a foot massage. Massage Ronny's foot." Justin said. "That's the punishment you get for laughing on me." he said as he gave relieved smile.

"Ughh. Maybe I should have just chosen truth. Now show your damn foot." Kate shouted at Ron as Ron kept her foot on her lap.

"Hey mate, it's Ron but I'll not shout at you because if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have gotten foot massage from Kate." Ron said as Kate massaged his leg angrily as we all ended up laughing.

"It's over now, this time I'll be the one spinning yay. Gonna punish someone from you all for laughing on me." Kate said as she spinned the bottle.

"Ava." Kate shouted as everyone turned their attention towards me.

"Truth." I personally wanted to be on a safer side, I thought to myself.

"You always had lots of boys behind you during your school years. So tell me finally what your ideal man looks like?" Kate said as Ron murmured something in Kate's ears.

"Such an easy question huh?" I laughed off as they all looked at me.

"Isn't easy as it seems." Ron said as he smiled at Trevor.

"Perhaps compassionate boys with contagious laughter. Well I don't know. Why are you even asking me this question?" I shouted. Perhaps Ron was right, this question was kinda weird.

"Look I told you before that it wasn't easy as it seemed." Ron said as if he read my mind.

"Like Trevor?" Kate laughed.

"What?" I asked in a confuse tone.

"What? The way you described it, it seemed that you were describing Trevor." Kate said.

"No." I laughed.

"I need to go." Trevor said and stood up.

"Wait" I said. "I'll be back in a sec." he said as I saw his face, he was a bit tensed, nervous or perhaps he was anxious. I don't know. His face was showing multiple emotions.
