Today, me and Mandy decided to get away from the boys for a while. We went out to the pond ad let out all our Pokemon to play with them. While we were playing, this beautiful, adorable, little Pokemon leapt out of the water, crying, "Mana! Mana!" It jumped right into Mandy's arms! I wanted to catch it, but Mandy told me I couldn't because this was Manaphy, the Prince of the Sea. Mandy herself was the Sea Jewel, so they had a special connection!
Suddenly, a giant, weird-looking machine came crashing out of the woods and grabbed Manaphy with a giant, mechanical hand! There were two people and a Pokemon inside: a lavender-haired boy, a pink-haired girl, and a talking Meowth. They leapt up and started reciting some poem with fancy poses. I thought they were pretty stylish, actually, but they struck me as rather clueless. They ended their little schpeel by announcing them selves as Team Rocket.
I thought Team Rocket was a Kanto gang...?
Then I began panicking because they had Manaphy! Mandy didn't seem worried, though. She sent her Gallade to attack the machine. Long story short, it exploded (the piece of crap), Team Rocket went spinning away into the sky, and Manaphy landed safely in Mandy's arms. Like, seriously, physics don't work on those guys.
After that, we said good-bye to Manaphy and went back to the Pokemon Center. Outside, were surprised to find Conway and Phillip...uh...fighting? Not like men, but like schoolgirls, rolling around on the ground. Just then, Conway's glasses got caught in Phillip's hair and were yanked off his face! He lost his balance and fell on them, and there was a sickening *CRACK!*
Immediately Conway forgot all about the fight and scrabbled backward on his hands and knees, panicking and whimpering. "Oh no...what...what happened? My glasses!"
He started having a panic attack, and he couldn't breathe. Since my mom is a doctor, I know what to do. "Someone get a brown paper bag!" I ordered. Phillip ran and got one from Nurse Joy, and I had Conway breathe into it until he stopped hyperventilating.
As soon as he took the bag off his mouth, he whimpered. "My glasses--I can't see!"
I picked up the glasses and found that they'd been completely shattered. "Don't panic again," I said, "But they're destroyed."
Conway panicked again and had to breathe into the bag.
"Can you see at all?" I asked.
"I know you're Jessica from your voice, but you look like a fuzzy blob!" he said.
I have glasses, and I can see all right without them, so I took them off and put them on Conway's face. They made him look girly because they have pink-maroon frames, but he was able to see a little. I think he blushed when he put them on...
Well, it looks like it's off to the glasses store tomorrow!
