All were standing around the bed.

Ragini was standing right next to Laksh beside her Aryan was sitting on a chair.

Laksh takes a deep breath.

Laksh: I was going to the office...

Laksh was driving to his office. His mind was thinking about Ragini's concern and her behavior. He was driving straight when there came a divider road.

He hears a sound of horn from his left and sees a car moving towards his with full speed. He immediately takes a turn and then hears a sound of truck. He looks at his back and sees a truck coming towards his car in the highest speed. Everything was happening in seconds. He takes his car to the other side of the road giving a path for the truck to go away but he get's shocked seeing that the truck tilts and is again coming towards his car. Before he could figure out anything the truck hits his car with a boom and moves further until his car hits with the wall. It nearly crushed his car between itself and the wall.

Laksh's head directly hits with the steering wheel and then the door of the car was also pushed inside because of the push by the truck and it also hits him badly. All the glasses of the car were broken and their pieces were stuck all over his body.

At that moment Laksh was feeling that it's his time to leave the world, his family, his brothers and his wife. His eyes were closed and blood was oozing from his head, hands and where not. Only four faces were coming in front of his eyes, Ryan, Sanskar, Arjun and Ragini. He lost the hope of seeing them for the last time and got unconscious.

Everyone's eyes were filled with tears when Laksh completed telling them about the whole incident.

Laksh: but god is not that much unfair. He gave me another life and now I'm with my family.

He says with a small smile on his lips.

All wipes their tears.

Aryan: from the way you're telling one this is confirmed.

All: what?

Aryan: it was not an accident.

All (confused): then?

Aryan inhales a deep breath.

Aryan: it was an attempt to murder.

Everyone gasps at his words. Ragini clutches Laksh's hand tightly. Laksh looks up at her.

All (stammering): mu... murder

Arjun: what are you saying Aryan bhai?

Aryan: that's true. It was all pre-planned. Otherwise there's no point of the truck to hit the car when it's way was clear and it even crushed the car even when no break failure is detected. And the running away of the truck driver from the accident spot is also leading to the same thing.

Everyone composes themselves from the shock they just got.

Sanskar: but who and why will do it with bhai?

Aryan: that's what we need to find out. You guys don't worry. Soon, the culprit will be infront of us. I'll not leave him.

He says gritting his teeth.

All nods.

Aryan: I have to take a leave now. I need to start working on the case. Take care buddy.

Laksh nods and Aryan leaves.

Laksh: I'm feeling hungry.

Sanskar: I'll ask the doctor about what you can eat and bring something for you.

Arjun: I'll come with you too.

Sanskar nods and they both leaves.

All: what?

Laksh: was anyone going to their respective work places from the day of my accident?

All shakes their heads.

Laksh: I knew it. Swara, go to your office and company and check what's going on there. Take your sister with you.

Ragini shakes her head in a big no.

Ragini: I'll not go anywhere leaving you.

She declared.

Laksh sighs.

Laksh: you two, my younger sister in laws go and study for your exams.

Naisha: but...

Laksh: no if no but. Do as I say. Rey, take Aru and Sanky with you to MM and you too prepare for your exam. You four can come and meet me in between but no compromise with the studies. I'll kill you four if you failed. And ya, tell Sanky to bring some fresh clothes for me when he comes back. These hospital clothes are eww.

He says making irritated faces.

All laughs.

Misha: jiju, your wife already gave the warning of killing us if we failed.

She says twitching her lips.

Laksh looks at Ragini.

Laksh: good job.

Ryan, Misha and Naina makes faces while Swaragini chuckles.

Laksh: now, go.

All four nods and bids bye to Raglak.

Ragini sits on the chair.

Ragini (choking): what if that person ag... again tried to...

Laksh shakes his head and holds her hand.

Laksh: shh... no one can do anything to me now. Everything is fine. You don't take tension. Hmm...

He passes her an assuring smile.

Just then Sanskar and Arjun enters with a plate in Arjun's hand.

Sanskar: bhai, here have it. I'm going to drop Rey and Aru at home. I'll come back soon.

Laksh nods and Arjun passes the plate to Ragini.

Both Sanskar and Arjun leaves.

Just then Laksh's eyes fell on the food. It was a vegetable soup and wheat dalia.

Laksh: who's going to eat all this?

Ragini: you Mr Maheshwari.

Laksh: I'll better stay hungry instead of eating this.

He says making a yuck face.

Ragini glares him. She brings a spoon full of soup near his mouth.

Ragini: open your mouth.

Laksh shakes his head and covers his mouth with his hand.

Ragini looks at him shocked.

Ragini: Laksh, don't behave like kids. Remove your hand.

Laksh shakes his head again.

Ragini (gritting her teeth): Laksh... If you'll not eat then your health will not improve fast and you have to stay in the hospital for more time.

Laksh looks at her with a pout.

Laksh: you're bad. Ok, I'm ready to eat just because I want to go home as soon as possible.

But Ragini was not responding to him because she was lost in his pout😍.

Laksh shakes her a little. She comes back to her senses.

Laksh: where are you lost?

Ragini: nothing, you eat.

Laksh opens his mouth unwillingly.

Ragini was controlling her smile seeing his cute and irritated face. She makes him eat the whole of it.

Next day:

Evening-

Laksh was lying on the hospital bed while Ragini was cutting fruits for him.

Laksh: for how many days I have to stay in the hospital?

Ragini: five days more.

Laksh looks at her shocked.

Laksh: what? Five days!!

Ragini nods.

Laksh: I want to go home now.

Ragini looks at him with wide eyes.

Ragini: you can't go to the house now. Doctors said that they have to keep you under observation for five more days.

Laksh: I don't know anything about it. I'm saying na I want to go home right now. I'm feeling suffocated in this hospital.

Just then the door gets open and Sanskar enters in.

Sanskar: what happened?

Laksh: tell the doctor to make the discharge papers. We're leaving for the house now.

Sanskar: but bhai...

Laksh (sternly): can't you hear me?

Sanskar nods and leaves to talk to the doctor.

Ragini: Akdu...

Laksh: let me gain some strength then I'll tell you.

Ragini gulps.

The doctor was trying his best to make Laksh understand but he was not listening a word of him. He was just moving his head left to right in no.

Laksh: I'll come everyday for the checkup but I want to go home right now and that's final.

The doctor nods feeling defeated in front of his stubbornness.

Doctor: ok

Laksh (happily): finally, I'm going home.

Ragini and Sanskar shakes their heads in disbelief. Sanskar goes out with the doctor.

Ragini: so, Mr Stubborn Maheshwari let's go.

Laksh glares her.

Ragini helps him in standing up. Laksh keeps his right hand on her shoulder. Sanskar was giving him support from the other side.

Laksh: I can walk myself.

Ragini: shut up. You can't do everything you want always.

Laksh looks at her with a stern face.

They leaves the hospital and Laksh takes a deep breath of fresh air. Ragini chuckles at him.

In the car:

Sanskar was driving while Raglak were sitting at the back seat.

Laksh was feeling pain while sitting but he didn't say it because he knew if he'll tell them then the very next second he'll land on the hospital bed again😂.

Laksh: don't know what must be happening in the office?

Sanskar: bhai, why are you taking tension? Stop thinking about all this.

Ragini: how can he stop thinking about his girlfriends? They must be missing him na like he's missing them.

She says making faces.

Laksh frowns at her words while Sanskar chuckles.

Soon they reaches MM.

Laksh: home sweet home

Ragini and Sanskar giggles.

He's behaving like a kid.

Trio comes out of the car. Sanskar and Ragini were giving support to Laksh.

They enters and were surprised finding the house decorated with balloons.

Ryan, Arjun, Swara, Naina and Misha comes in front of them.

All: welcome back home bhai/bhayu/jiju

Laksh smiles at them.

Laksh: thank you so much. But don't think that I'll give you any compensation in studies for doing it.

He says with a raised eyebrow.

All laughs.

Raglak's room:

Laksh was half laying on his bed, feeling relaxed while Ragini was keeping the clothes in the cupboard.

Laksh: oh my soft bed. I missed you so much.

He says moving his hands on the bed.

Ragini looks at him with wide eyes for a few seconds and then starts laughing hard.

Ragini: I think the accident has affected your mind that's why you're behaving so different from the time you have got up.

Laksh glares her.

Laksh: very funny. Give me a glass of water.

Ragini nods and fills the glass with water and gives it to him.

Laksh was drinking the water.

Ragini starts leaving when...

Laksh: Ragini......
