Special: Birthday
Ansera's pov
*sigh*
School.
A place to learn aspects of necessary skills for our future.
It is also a place where people learn about social skills.
I hate that about school.
Everyone is so stuck up just because they are popular.
They act like their the best but the last time I checked their grades were D- or lower.
They seem to hate school because they are forced to.
They don't see the greatness in school.
*sigh*
Though it would be nice to have friends.
All my friends went to different schools.
Right now, I was put in the most stuck up private school in the world.
Kou Middle School.
I only went here because it was known for having the highest grades.
I walk to school every morning.
I can't wait for the usual daily routine.
"Hey! Look!! It's the nerd, again!!" A random boy shouts as his followers laugh.
"Ewwww!!! Get away from me!!! I don't want to catch your ugliness!!!!!!" A girl wearing thick layer of make up points at me.
Her so called "squad" starts making gag noises.
Gossip starts going around as I walk to my class.
"O.M.G. Have you heard?" A girl whispers into another's ears.
"What?"
"You see that girl over there?"
"Yeah?"
"Did you know she's a prostitute?"
"No way!!!"
"Pathetic, right?"
As more lies and gossip spread around, I sighed to myself.
Ugh the old bullies from my school are still following me.
Well, just because majority of the people I hang out with were guys doesn't mean I do anything nasty.
As I get to class, I put my bags to the side as I sat at my desk near the window in the back.
There was writing on there.
I grabbed my eraser and started to erase all the negative things they have to say.
I rather not get anyone in trouble.
It's not because I'm scared of being called a snitch.
It's just too much commotion.
All I need is my phone.
I have all my friends contacts in there and my favorite music and books inside.
After erasing everything, I went to the bathroom before the teacher will arrive.
I checked the mirrors to see if my contacts covered my eye color well enough.
People thought it was weird how my eyes were multi-colored.
I don't care. I don't want to make a bad impression so wearing my contacts were best.
I readjusted my glasses and my bun.
My bangs and glasses covered my fave really well.
As I head back, I hear snickering.
The teacher comes in before I got to figure out what's happening.
~~~~~time skip~~~~~~~
As lunch started, I grabbed my home-made bento and started eating.
I stopped bringing money to school because I know what would happen if I do.
I don't wan to get anywhere near the cafeteria no more.
After I was done, I put it away and searched for my phone.
Usually there would be the bullies that showed up when I get my phone.
It wasn't there.
That's weird.
I started searching even more.
I couldn't find it.
I went to check the bathroom and it wasn't there.
The bell rang so I couldn't do anything until school was over.
~~~~~~~~~~
Class finally ends and I start searching for my phone.
I hear an unpleasant female voice say,"Looking for this old thing."
I turned around.
Oh.
Lookie here.
It's the usual bully and cause of my misfortune, the Hime of the school and her loyal subjects.
As she plays with her long blonde hair, she holds out my IPhone.
I stared into her obnoxious orange eyes.
"Give it back," I calmly say.
"Sure," she says with an overly sweet voice.
I know where this was heading now.
"After this!" She starts to stomp on my phone and let her subjects do as well.
They all start laughing as they walk away.
I feel too tired to react.
Am I supposed to cry?
I don't really know as I sigh.
I bent down to pick up my well used to be of a phone.
My only contacts of my friends and my only escape.
Usually, people would commit suicide if they were in the same position but I felt no need to.
Just two more years of this until this was over and I can be with my friends, right?
I wonder how much longer until I break.
Tears fell out before I even know it.
Well, something changed.
"Hey, are you okay?" An unfamiliar guy's voice says.
I wiped my tears and looked up.
It was a boy who looks a year older, which means same grade. (I skipped)
He had pink hair, long in front and short in back.
"Yeah...." I said, picking up the last few remains of my phone.
Great another person to hate me, I thought to myself.
He brings out a handkerchief and hands it to me.
"Here," he gins.
"Thanks," I hesitantly take it.
It's been so long since someone didn't do any thing mean to me.
"I'm Kouha," he says. "And yours?"
"Ankhseram ," I replies. "If it's too hard to pronounce, you can give me a nickname."
"Ok," he starts. "How do I say this?"
I tilt my head confused what he was going to say.
"Uhhh, I'm kind of lost. Can you help me?" He asks as he scratch his cheek.
I nodded.
"Also, I lost my student ID," he said.
My eyes widened a little.
The student ID is something you should never lose. It allows access to classrooms.
I always hide mine so no one will steal it.
"Where did you lose it?" I asked.
"Over there," he point at the flower fields.
Oh dear.
~~~~~~~~~~
I was searching with the boy for the ID.
There were too many flowers which could have hid it.
I sighed.
My head was bent down and I lost my glasses.
Great, can't see at all.
A powerful gust of air blew as my messy hair falls loose and I lost my contacts.
Even better, now the boy will laugh at me.
I groaned at my terrible luck as I fall laying down into the flowers.
It wouldn't be too bad just to lay down for a minute......
Kouha's pov
I finally found my ID.
"He-" I turned around to check on Ankhseram.
She seems to be asleep.
Her hair was down and she wasn't wearing her glasses.
It made her look .......really pretty.
I slightly blush at the thought.
I found her glasses hidden in the flowers as I sit next to her and watched her sleep.
Ansera's pov
I groggily open my eyes.
"Good morning," I hear.
"Huh?" I rubbed my eyes as I got up.
I realized Kouha was still there.
Ugh I'm so embarrassed.
It passed sunset already.
Oh no.
I found my glasses next to me.
I quickly put them on.
"Umm, I got to go. Bye." I ran as fas as I can home.
~~~~~the next day~~~~~~~
Ugh, I was so embarrassed.
When I got to school, there were some kind of commotion going on.
Using this as my new distraction, I was able to become invisible and peacefully got to my class.
Well, until the teacher introduced the problem.
"Okay, class. Today, we got a mew student. You better be kind to him," she says as the door opens.
"Yo!" A familiar pink haired boy said. "I'm Kouha Ren. Nice to meet you all."
Oh dear.
The Ren family is a well known and rich family.
All the girls started swooning over him.
He seemed to fit in really well.
*sigh*
I guess my new friend is going to be a new enemy.
"Hey!" A friendly voice said, approaching.
Would you look at that?
Speak of the devil, and here he is.
Now my imagine is going to seem more like a slut, great.
"So, Ansera," Kouha already came up with a nickname for me.
And we aren't even that close.
"Why don't we hang out?"
That took me in a shock an so did everyone around us witnessing.
I was trying to process what happened in my mind.
"You? Want to hang out? With me?" I ask very slowly.
He nods."Well, who else am I looking at?"
"Uh ok," I hesitantly said.
He whispers into my ear ,"You're different and I like that."
My face flushed.
Then on, it seems everything was going on into a happily ever after road.
~~~a few months later~~~~~
"Happy Birthday!!!!!!"
Everyone shouted as a blue haired girl walked into the dark room.
The lights, streamers, gifts , and cake visibly showed her surprise birthday party.
"Come on," a pink haired boy grabbed her hands. "We got you presents."
But, the girl thought. You are enough of a gift to me. Thank you.
Tears slowly stream out as she wipes them away and joins the party.
