They all had gathered together to have dinner in the dinning hall ... Manik even made Roby to sit on one side of him , other side is occupied by sky bcoz rest all chose places near to nandu ....  Manan didn't get a chance to atleast talk .....

Fab 4 and siblings of Manik and Abheer  are having a good time talking to nandu on random topics .... Where as manik just wanted her to look at him ... Many ideas are running in his brain ....

Finally the party is over .... Sky and nandu left bidding bye to everyone....

Rest all are sitting in the hall....

Mukti : manik , why didn't you talk to nandu ??? She asked directly without any drama ....

Manik : How could I ?? When she doesn't even want to say that she knows me ?? She just said she knows all four of you not me ?? She didn't even look at me mukti .....he said with a cute pout ....

Cabir : do you need reasons to talk to nandu ?? Are u crazy idiot ?? U have been searching like a mad man from the past years and now when you found her ...?? You are just finding reasons ?? Oh hello ... Mister you hurt her a lot and I didn't say anything at that time bcoz it's for her safety , it's high time you try to win her Varna you are gonna loose her , don't act like school days making plans like she will come to you , those are olden and golden days ....  Ek second ... But now do you really expect her to come like school days  and give you a hug ??? He finds manik smiling like an idiot to himself .... rest all are waiting for his reaction bcoz manik never took scoldings from anyone ....even today cabir is speaking bcoz he found the glimpse of his friend manik..... " Not the Manik Malhotra" .....

Mukti : don't tell me you are imagining that nandu comes to you running and hug you ??? She asked hitting him in his head .... He just blushed making others look at him in shock ...bcoz talking rudely is a great deal and hitting him is a big shock for all ....  But he just left from there leaving them with wide open mouths .... In this one evening the Malhotra family siblings and others apart from fab 5 got many shocks regarding manik ..... They stayed that night in the penthouse.....

On the other side.....

( Author's note :  Nandu's pov will be here from the time she gets a call from sky asking her to come to Police station.... Her past will be revealed along with the story in later chapters )

Nandu's story. .... What she is thinking while sitting in the car in the passenger seat while sky is driving they are  returning back from party ....

"Oh god ! Who is disturbing my sleep ???"  Saying  I just  took my  phone to see many missed calls from Sky .....

" What the hell sky ?? " , Cursing him I was about to call him back but recieved a call from him .... I answered still being sleepy ...

"Tell me idiot , this better be important if not I'm gonna kill you for disturbing my sleep ", is what I  asked him as soon as I  answered the call....

"I'm in police station , come soon . I have already pinged you the details" , saying he cut the call ....

I immediately ran to change my  dress bcoz he sounded serious which is not so sky ....I  knew it is important.... So I  immediately drove to the police station .....

I  entered the police station thinking sky is in trouble but that's not the problem.... I saw the people who I left behind 5 years back .... I thought I would never meet him again .... I don't know why I still trust him , but I trust him , I made the other guy apologize bcoz I knew .... He could never fight without a reason .... Even our break up might have many reasons but I'm not angry for that , I'm hurt bcoz He never felt the need to tell me the reason and kept me in dark , even today I'm hurt more than angry ....

I didn't knew He organised this party if not I would have avoided it bcoz it's clearly written on His face that He wants me back in his life , but not possible bcoz I have moved on .....  Yes even today I want to know the reason for our break up but never want to get back to Him, I don't hate him nor I love him ..... No hard feelings .... Nothing ..... I kept on thinking to myself .... I didn't realise I reached my apartment.... Sky shook my shoulder asking me to get down.... I gave him a hug and left for  my apartment with lots of thoughts.....  I badly need a good shower and best sleep .....

Next day......

In Malhotra Industries.....

Manik is sitting in his cabin looking at the CCTV footage of the entrance of his office building ..... He is just waiting impatiently for someone to come ..... He called the reception twice to confirm that no one came with that name till now....

He is sure the person would come .. manik is smirking looking at the person bcoz he knew his plan would work .....

He just acted like being busy just observing everything on his laptop .... he saw the person coming towards his cabin by taking all the required permissions.

There is a knock on the door , he just shut the laptop and opened a file pretending to be busy and said a come in ....

There is Roby standing at the door ...

Roby : sir , the legal advisor from Mr. Frank's office is here....  Can I send her in ?? He asked with a smile bcoz he knew manik is waiting for her from two hours postponing all his meetings , manik just glared him and he just moved out opening the door ....

The lawyer who came inside is known to everyone nandini murthy ....

She is shocked on seeing manik Malhotra in the chair of CEO bcoz she didn't expect him to be there .....

It's Malhotra Industries, that's where nandu connected  the dots bcoz manik is a Malhotra.  But  in their years of friendship and relationship she never thought that one day they would be standing like strangers in formal clothes to talk about business . Her dad always wanted her to be a lawyer but she never agreed to it bcoz manik took up business management in college she followed him . She never had goals or ambitions. Manik is shocked to see her as a lawyer in the police station . Today they are lost in each other's eyes ... Bcoz there is longing , pain , anger , hurt and love in their eyes ... They could feel each other's love ....but they couldn't step forward .

They are disturbed by Roby who came with drinks .... Manik just glared him.... Roby tried to act like he is scared but he has a smile on his face looking at the ever so serious workaholic boss being lost just in the sight of this cute little lawyer ..... Manik just cleared his throat gaining the attention of nandu who is busy looking at Roby and manik simultaneously ....

Manik : Miss. Nandini Murthy , welcome to Malhotra Industries. Please take your seat . He said formally ....

Nandu : Sorry to say this Mr.Malhotra, I'm not interested to work with your company. Thanks for the offer .... Saying she just left the room immediately without even waiting for manik's reply or anything .....

She just walked out of the company without even looking back , took her car and drove away .....

Roby is just looking at Manik to know his reaction bcoz in the past five years. None dared to speak against him or ever walked away when he is talking , not even one single person refused to talk to him . After his presence in the company the growth of business has reached peaks ... It's the first time Roby saw manik silent and not bursting out on anyone ....it's like he really expected this answer ....

Manik : You can leave Roby .... He said sitting back on his chair and taking his phone typing something in it....

Roby is shocked he just put the tray on the table and drank one of the drink he bought in one go. ...making manik look at him being perplexed....

Roby : Boss are you ok ??? He asked taking his place in the chair opposite to manik .....

Manik : I'm okay , but what's wrong with you ? He asked still looking at his mobile....

Roby : It's just you ...... He couldn't form correct words seeing manik  so calm like nothing happened.....

Manik : I look calm and didn't break anything in anger is that bothering you ?? He asked keeping his mobile aside and Roby nodded and manik continued " Bcoz I just wanted to know if my girl is still affected by me or not and I got my answer , bcoz if she hates me . It doesn't matter to her with whom she is working . But she still loves me and is scared to work with me bcoz she knew I want her back in my life that's the reason I asked an Advocate from their firm , I knew they will send her bcoz she is perfect in her work and I even know she wouldn't work with me , as I know what will happen I didn't react ", he completed saying bcoz he always treated Roby like a friend more like younger brother.

Roby : ok boss , he said and placed the glass of drink for manik and took the empty glass and  tray to leave the place .

Manik : Fix my appointment with Mr. Frank for dinner, he said getting back to his laptop and Roby left his cabin ....

After few hours..... Nearly dinner time ....
In Malhotra mansion ....

Elders are  sitting in the hall looking tensed bcoz there is someone sitting there with tears not even opening their mouth .... All the youngsters are not there at home ....manik is in the meeting with Frank ..... Fab 5 are in the same hotel where manik's meeting is held .....they are talking and having fun teasing each other and eating dinner waiting for manik to complete his meeting such that they can go home..... Ranveer , misthi , Shekhar , Anand , shalu are with  Abhir's family  . Bcoz they are invited by Abhir's mom  for helping them with the engagement shopping.... Abhir took the responsibility of dropping them safely back home ....

There is still a complete silence in the Malhotra house ...only the hiccups of the crying person  is heard ....

Cars are seen coming inside the mansion , they stopped at once .... Fab 5 came out from one car and Abhir and the others came out from the other car .....

Hi lovely readers ,

I know it's after a long time.... Most probably a year .... There is a lot going on  in my life ...that's the reason I'm not here ....this is what I have in drafts crafts so publishing it....

Hope to write and give update soon ....
