~*~*~*~*~*~
It was one night.
One night of love.
It was the night Sakura realized she was loved.
A night she would never forget.
But all good things must come to an end.

There were tears leaving her eyes as she drove down the highway. No one said anything to her. . . Not even him. It took her best friend to tell her that her true love was leaving the country, to probably never return.
The lights of the airport came into view, and she swiftly turned the corner. Grabbing a visitors pass, she ran out of her car, and into the automatic doors of the giant airport. The pinkette looked at the paper she found on the counter in her apartment, and found the flight number.
Once she was able to get a gate pass and go through the security checkpoint quickly, she speed walked to the gate.
"Now boarding Flight 5683." The speaker said.
Sakura looked around, as people were going through the gate. At that moment, her eyes stopped at the very person she was looking for. Her eyes teared up, as she stared at the back of his head.
"Sasuke-kun!" She slightly yelled.
Immediately, the Uchiha turned his head back, and glared at her, "What the hell are you doing here, Sakura?"
She bit her bottom lip, "Why didn't you say anything?"
Sasuke sighed, "It was none of your concern."
"How could you even say that?!" Her eyes began sparkling from the moisture, "Last night. . . You. . . We. . ." The words wouldn't come out.
"I know." He closed his eyes.
Sakura let out a soft sob, "It was a night of just you and me. What happened last night showed me how much you love me, and I feel the sa-"
"Just shut up." The Uchiha snapped.
The pinkette gasped, "But-"
He shook his head, "I don't love you. I never did."
Her mouth stayed agape, and she watched as someone she loved began walking away from her. It was as if his words didn't affect her.
But they did.

"I don't know what's wrong with me, Tsunade-sama." Sakura told her doctor, as she sat on the edge of the hospital bed.
She continued, "It could possibly be because. . . Well. . . Because Sasuke-kun abandoned me."
The doctor sighed, "I don't think that's it. Unless you've been starving yourself, there's only one logical reason for why you've been having morning sickness."
The pinkette knew what she was going to say, and her eyes watered, "Don't tell me I-"
Tsunade shut her eyes and sighed, "The test results were positive. You're pregnant."
Pregnant

{9 MONTHS LATER}
The emerald-eyed girl stared at her baby daughter, and lightly rocked her.
The sun-kissed blonde sighed, "What are you going to do?"
A tear left her eyes, and she said, "I've used up all of my strength. . ."
It was true. The pinkette went into labor the night before, and there were complications with having her and his daughter.
She continued, "I should be fine for a while, but Tsunade-sama told me as the time goes by, I'll get weaker and weaker, until. . ." A tear drop fell on her newborn baby's forehead, and she bit the inside of her cheek, "Until I die."
Naruto punched the wall next to him, but turned to Sakura, and grabbed her free hand, "I'll take care of Sarada when the time comes. Dattebayo."
Sakura shook her head, "He'll be back. And when he does come back, he'll be there for her."

{3 YEARS LATER}
"Teme!" Naruto exclaimed, as he saw his friend walk through the gate.
The Uchiha smirked, "Dobe. How's everyone?"
The blue-eyed blonde smiled sadly, "Great."
Sasuke cleared his throat, as he walked with his friend in the parking lot, "And Sakura?"
~*~*~*~*~*~
The sound of severe coughing was heard throughout the house, and the pink-haired woman gripped the pillow. Small footsteps hit the wooden floors, as the three year old girl came running towards her mother. She stopped, and stared.
"Mama?"
The coughing became unbearable, and Sarada yelled, "Kaka!"
The silver-haired man came to assistance with a cup of water, and kneeled in front of Sakura, and handed her the glass. In between coughs, she took a sip of water.
She sighed in relief, "Thank you, Kakashi."
The man smiled underneath his unusual mask, "That's what I'm here for."
Sarada tugged on the hem of the old Hatake's shirt, and he turned to her.
"Kaka, is Mama okay?" She asked, her onyx eyes held worry.
Sakura looked at her daughter to say something, but Kakashi held his hand up to let him do the talking, "You see, your mom is very ill, so this coughing is only a side effect to her illness."
The young girl looked down, "Will she get better?"
Sakura sighed, "I think it's bed time."
Struggling, the pinkette got up from her bed, and held on to the rail next to her.
"Sakura," Kakashi began, "Let me-"
"No. She's my daughter."
Once the two entered Sarada's room, she laid on her twin-sized bed, and Sakura pulled the sheets to her chin, and admired her daughter.
"Mama?"
She smiled, "Hm?"
"Is Kaka my Daddy?" Her daughter questioned.
The Haruno shook her head sadly, "No sweetie, he's not. You're Papa isn't here right now, but he'll be back soon."
Sarada shook her head, and quickly fell asleep.

The Uchiha stood in the parking lot, face emotionless. His blank stare scared Naruto, and the sun-kissed blonde scratched his head awkwardly.
"So you're telling me," Sasuke started, "I have a child, and no one informed me."
Naruto smiled sheepishly, "We thought it would be best if you didn't know. You had to run the Uchiha Corp in America, and I know you wouldn't want distractions."
"This is different, Naruto!" Sasuke nearly shouted, "I left Sakura to raise my own child, and I even broke up with her in the harshest way."
"What did you do?" He asked.
The Uchiha shook his head, and the ring of a cell phone was heard between the two. Naruto reached into his pocket, took out his phone, and put an index finger up to mean 'one second.'
"Hello?" The Uzumaki said in the phone.

The pinkette walked slowly out of her daughter's room, and Kakashi quickly went to her side, noticing her struggle.
"Kakashi. . . I feel," She tried to catch her breath, "The end-"
"No," He snapped in denial, "Don't think like that."
After a few moments of silence, Sakura said, "I'm about to die."
The Hatake widened his eyes, as Sakura's weight shifted onto him, due to her falling unconscious.
~*~*~*~*~*~
"Kakashi, please tell me this isn't happening!" Naruto shouted worriedly into his phone.
Sasuke rose a brow, and he continued, "Sasuke's with me. She has to see him. We'll be there soon!"
The blonde turned to his friend, and looked at him sadly, "There's something you should know."
~*~*~*~*~*~
There was a knock at the door, and Kakashi stood up, but glanced at Sakura for a moment. She was slowly waking up, but he knew she wouldn't stay awake for long. The silver-haired man opened the door, and Naruto barged in, with Sasuke behind.
"Is it happening?!" Naruto shouted.
Kakashi put his index finger to his lips, "Shh Sarada's sleeping. We can't let her see this."
Meanwhile, the Uchiha was staring behind Kakashi, for he saw a hint of pink, and immediately knew who was laying on the couch. Pushing the other two aside, Sasuke went to the pinkette's side. She slightly opened her eyes to see the unknown figure. Once the person came into view, she smiled sadly.
"You came back." Her voice was weak.
The raven-haired man stared at her, "I did."
Her hand slowly made its way to his face, and Sakura cupped his cheek. Tears fell from her eyes, "I know you don't love. . ." Her voice began dialing down, "me. . . But. . ." Her breathing became heavy.
"Sakura-" She cut the Uchiha off.
"Take care of. . . Sarada." The pinkette's emerald eyes began closing slowly.
Sasuke shook his head, "Sakura, what you said isn't true. I-"
He felt her hand come off of her cheek, and her eyes fully closed, with her body limp.
"Love you. . ."

I don't know how I feel about this. . .
