It's almost ten o'clock . My parents are going to kill me if I get home late. Again. It's not my fault that Skulker is hunting me. Again. If nothing goes wrong right now I could make it home on time.

I open the door to our living room to find Mom and Dad arguing. I made it home on time, so I better go to my room before they notice me.

"Hey, Danny!" My Dad's deep, but friendly voice cried out. "Maddy  and I were talking about going to a quiet town for the rest of summer for a family vacation!" Dad's black was streaked with grey and the orange jumpsuit made him look like a combination of a scientist and a criminal, but he almost always seems friendly.

"Dad, please no. Sam, Tucker and I have plans for the summer." I begged.

"I guess they can come too, if they want. Plus, Jazz says that we need some 'time off' from ghost hunting." He said it as if confused. My dad is simple minded, so I don't have to worry about him figuring out my secret. My mom on the other hand is really smart and dangerous.

"Mom?" I said trying to get support.

"Maybe your Dad is right. We have been focusing on ghosts too much." Mom said as if in deep thought.

I went to my room knowing I lost that battle. Hopefully, Sam and Tucker could come along too.

Also, did I forget to mention that my parents are ghost hunters? And the that I can turn into to a ghost? The only people that know is Sam, Tucker and Jazz.
