Niall cried into Liam's shirt and Liam rubbed his back.

"Well let's go." Liam said as Niall pulled away from him. Niall nodded no headed to the car.

Liam grabbed his keys and followed Niall to the car. He wondered what the little girl would look like. Brown hair with blue eyes? Liam had no idea.

Liam climbed behind the wheel and started the car up and pulled away from the curb and headed to the orphanage.

Niall was getting nervous to see the little girl he'd given up four years ago. After he'd given birth to her the nurses took her away to get her cleaned up and that was the last he'd saw of his little girl. He named her McKenna Marie Horan and of course her other father Carson was there when he gave birth although Niall kept pushing him away.

He was supportive throughout his pregnancy and had wanted Niall to keep their daughter, but Niall knew he could never support the little girl and there was no way Carson would have stayed to raise her. After a few sleepless nights Niall was sure Carson would leave and he'd be stuck raising her as a single parent.

Niall gave her up for adoption even against Carson's wishes. And after the proper paper work was filled out and she had been officially given up for adoption, Carson left him, just like Niall had thought he would. Niall never heard from Carson again.

Niall kept picturing what the little girl would look like now, after four years, whether she had his eyes or Carson's. But he didn't have to wait any longer when Liam pulled into the parking lot of the orphanage. Niall nearly jumped out of the car before it stopped and he sprinted inside.

"Niall wait!" Liam yelled after Niall as he climbed out of the car and ran after Niall.

When Liam walked inside, he walked across the hall entrance to this little window. Inside was a small gym, with kids running around inside. Kids from ages 3 to 15, playing together and who all seemed very happy. That made Liam smile and his heart melt, knowing that one of those kids was their daughter.

Niall turned away from the window and was headed to the office when a little girl with short brown hair ran into Niall's legs.

"I'm sowwey." She said, looking up at him with a finger in her mouth. Niall smiled down at her.

"That's okay sweet heart." Niall said as he stared at the little girl, she looked familiar.

Just as Niall was realized why the little girl looked so familiar, a woman came bounding down the hall towards them.

"McKenna!" The woman called. "I told you not to run off like that." She said as she picked the little girl up, who just giggled then shoved a couple more fingers in her mouth.

"Just don't do that again. Something could have happened to you little missy." She said with a small smile and tickled McKenna's tummy.

"Can I help you?" She said sweetly, smiling at Niall and Liam.

"Um well I gave my daughter up for adoption four years ago and I came to see if I c-could adopt her." Niall said nervously.

"Did you name her before you put her up for adoption?" The woman asked as she shifted McKenna to her other hip, and Niall watched the woman's every move with the little girl.

"Y-yea."

"What's her name?" The woman asked as McKenna looked up at him with bright blue eyes and two fingers in her mouth.

"McKenna." Niall said simply as he smiled at the little girl, who smiled back.
