Mingyu : Aish! I can't believe my appa got into an accident just to show kids on how to protect themselves from one. That's ridiculous!!

Bambam : Don't say like that. It's his job as a Community helper. You should be glad that it's not severe.

Mingyu : (Sighing) You are right.

Mingyu and Bambam are still in the hospital, they have visited Mingyu's father earlier and he's alright except for the hairline fracture. They are just about to exit the hospital after paying the bills, they saw paramedics carrying Jungkook on the stretcher.

Bambam : Jungkook?! Mingyu, is that Jungkook?

Mingyu : He looked like Jungkook. But can't say for sure.

Bambam : He is Jungkook. I clearly saw him!!

Mingyu : We may be mistaken.

Bambam : Mingyu, I know it was Jungkook, there's no mistake in it.

Mingyu : Ok! Let's call Jungkook.

Just then Bambam received a call from Yugyeom, and he kept it on speaker.

On the Phone...

Bambam : Yugy!! Is Jungkook with you?

Yugyeom : Kookie got stuck in a lift, while we were in BigHit. He got unconscious, and is on the way to Seoul hospital with Kim Hoseok.

Bambam : What? And you are saying this now? You idiot!!

Yugyeom : I know I should've told you earlier, but my mind got blank hearing about Kookie. And I remembered you and Mingyu are in the hospital, so I called you. I got a really bad traffic over here. I'm scared. What if something bad happens to him? How are we going to answer his parents? I cannot imagine.....(Continuous rambling)

Mingyu : Yugyeom!! Relax. I think we just saw Jungkook, we'll be with him. Don't worry.

Bambam : Yes, he'll be fine. I'll update his situation to you, ok? Bye!!

After ending the phone call, Bambam and Mingyu went in the direction, where paramedics took Jungkook. They reached a long hallway, there they spotted Kim Hoseok and Kim Taehyung talking to a doctor.

Doctor : He got unconscious due to lack of oxygen and to pure exhaustion. We've inserted a IV drip, just in case. He's completely alright, no major severities.

Hobi : That's good to hear. When will he....

He got interrupted by Bambam and Mingyu.

Bambam : Taehyung-ssi!!

Taehyung : You two are Jungkook friends, right?

Bambam : How's Jungkook? Is he okay?

Hobi : No need to worry. He's completely fine.

Mingyu : Umm...When he's going to wake up?

Doctor : Well, I can't say for sure, but he should probably wake up before midnight or early in the morning.

Bambam : Thank god!!! Thank you for helping Jungkook, Hoseok-ssi, Taehyung-ssi.

Mingyu : Yes, Thank you and sorry if....

Hobi : It's no big deal. We should be the ones to say sorry, because of our fault, Jungkook got stuck in the lift.

Bambam : Doctor, can we go and meet him?

Doctor : You can, after we shift him to a room.

Taehyung : Ok then, we'll take our leave.

Hobi : The hospital bill is on the company. And I think you should inform his health condition to his parents.

Bambam : We will. Once again thank you.

Hobi and Taehyung left from there.

It was around 8 in the night, when Hobi and Taehyung reached home for dinner. It was mandatory for everyone to have dinner together everyday in the Kim's household, except when someone's really busy.

As soon as they entered, Jimin came and hugged Hobi, if not for Hobi not catching him, they would have fallen to the ground. Hobi saw that everyone was present in the living area. Jin and Yoongi on the couch with their laptops, Namjoon with a book in his hand.

Jin : Jimin, be careful!

Hobi : Don't worry, hyung. I got him.

Jimin : Hobi-hyung, are you okay? (Releasing from the hug)

Hobi : Huh? What can happen to me?

Namjoon : Yoongi-hyung told that you got stuck in the lift.

Hobi : Hyung!! I told you not to tell anyone. (Whining)

Yoongi was the one who called Hobi in the lift.

Yoongi : I didn't tell anyone. The culprit is beside you. (Not minding anyone and doing his work in laptop)

Hobi side-eyed Taehyung and Taehyung hurriedly went and sat between Jin and Yoongi.

Hobi : Tae?

Taehyung : Sorry! But I was afraid, ok? You told Lisa to drop down the elevator and what if something had happened to you?

The brothers ears perked hearing this.

Jin : What do you mean by dropping the elevator? Can't you wait till the elevator got fixed?

Taehyung : Yeah. He instructed workers to drop down elevator from seventh floor.

Yoongi : What?? Care to explain yourself, Hobi? (Stern voice)

Hobi : Taehyung!! Explain the context clearly.

Taehyung gave him a playful grin while sticking his tongue out.

Jin : Explain Hobi.

Hobi : Fine.(Sighing)

Hobi told them from starting, his audition with Jungkook, how he got stuck in the lift with him, Jungkook going unconscious and why he ordered to drop down the elevator, and taking him to the hospital with Taehyung.

Jimin : Is he okay now?

Hobi : Yeah, he's fine.

Jin : Well, Good to hear that kid's okay. But you'll not attempt doing that stuff in the future, got it?

Hobi : Yes, Jin-hyung.

Jin : Go and fresh up, we'll have dinner. You too, Tae.

Hobi & Tae : Yes, hyung.

Others got busy with their work, and Jimin went with Hobi towards his room.

Jimin : Hyung, how did Jungkook do in the audition?

Hobi : He has the potential. I'm planning on taking him as trainee. What do you think?

Jimin : Hmm...I guess he'll turn down the offer.

Hobi : Why do you think like that?

Jimin : He came to the audition because I insisted him to, so he may or may not consider your offer.

Hobi : That's upto him, then.

As told by the doctor, Jungkook woke up after 5 hours. He slowly opened his eyes and looked around the room, he know he was in the hospital, but this room looked more like a suite room. His found his friends dispersed in the room. Yugyeom sleeping on the chair beside him. Mingyu sleeping on the couch, with his head on Bambam's shoulder, and Bambam is busy with his phone. He looked at the clock, it was around 11 in the night. He was out cold for straight 6 hours.

Bambam noticed Jungkook trying to get up, so he rushed towards without minding Mingyu's head in his shoulder. The sudden impact made Mingyu fall on the couch and he woke up with a groan. Yugyeom too woke up hearing the commotion.

Bambam gently helped Jungkook to sit and made him lean on to the headboard. Yugyeom handed him a glass of water, which he chugged in one go.

Yugyeom : How are you feeling?

Jungkook : Fine.

Yugyeom : You remember how you got here?

Jungkook : I got stuck in the lift with Hoseok-ssi, and there I couldn't breathe properly. I think I went unconscious, didn't I? (Chuckled)

Yugyeom : You did and gave me a heart attack. I just left you for 10 minutes and you got yourself into some shit. If not for Hoseok-ssi helping you, god knows what had happened.

Mingyu : Stop scolding him. He didn't know he'd get stuck in the lift.

Jungkook : Yeah, it was not my fault. And....Wait! Hoseok-ssi helped me?

Bambam : He and Taehyung-ssi, both.

Yugyeom : He bought you to the hospital and even took care of the hospital bills.

Jungkook : He didn't need to do that. It was not his fault.

Bambam : He insisted on doing that. By the way, did you take your medicines in the morning? You were in a hurry to reach for your audition and we were busy, so I forgot to ask you.

Jungkook : I...I think so....

Yugyeom : You didn't take them?

Jungkook : Um....No, I forgot. I'm sorry.

Jungkook : Shit! They must be worried. I need to call her. Where's my phone?

Bambam : Relax. Aunty already spoke to the doctor while you were out cold and she told you to call them tomorrow after discharging from the hospital.

Jungkook : If they're so chill about it, then I'm in big trouble. (Pouting)

Yugyeom : So....Are you hungry? We bought some food in case you wake up feeling hungry.

Jungkook : You should told me before. I'm starving.

Bambam : We already guessed that. (Chuckling)

The next day Jungkook got discharged, and the first thing he did was sending a flower bouquet with a Thank you note to Hobi for his help. Since he didn't know his address, he sent them to BigHit. And the most important thing he did was to call his parents. As soon as he reached dorm he video called his parents. He didn't want his friends to hear his parents scolding him so he told them to stay outside until he finishes the call. They agreed not because of Jungkook, because they don't want to face Jungkook's angry mother.

It was like they were waiting for Jungkook's call. They immediately responded for a single ring. Jungkook mentally prepared himself for what's gonna come his way.

His parents were seated next to one another, not smiling the way they always do when he calls them.

Jungkook : Uh...Good morning, Eomma, Appa...

They didn't speak just stared at him, more like glaring.

Jungkook : Hmm...Had your breakfast?

Jung-hyun : (After a long gap) We didn't. We were waiting for your call.

Jungkook : You didn't? Why? You know that you'll easily get acidity if you not eat on time. I always told you both not to skip your meals. Why don't you listen, huh?

Gyu-Young : As if you're listening to us.

Jungkook now knew where this was going.

Jungkook : Eommaa......

Gyu-Young : First listen to me, The reason we send you there was to let you enjoy your youth. We didn't want to confine you to a place just because you have some health issue. You can enjoy with your friends and I'm not saying no, but your health comes first. What if you were the only person in the lift and something happened to you?

Jungkook : But I, getting stuck in the lift has nothing to do with my health issue.

Jung-hyun : Jungkook. We are not upset with that. We are upset of the fact that you forgot to take your medicines.

Jungkook : What?! How did you...

Gyu-Young : We are your parents, Jungkook. And most importantly doctors. We talked with your doctor, while you were unconscious. We told them to do some tests and send your reports to us, which they did.

Jung-hyun : Yes, and by the reports we can say that you are skipping your medicines. You are not taking them regularly, are you?

Jungkook : I...I did but sometimes I forget because of work.

Gyu-Young : Jungkook, You promised me something, remember?

Jungkook : Yes, Eomma.

Gyu-Young : And what is that?

Jungkook : That I will take my medicines regularly.

Gyu-Young : Which you didn't........I'm done talking with you.

Gyu-Young got up and left from the screen.

Jungkook : Eomma...I'm sorry. Appa...

Jung-hyun : (Sigh) Your Eomma is very angry, Jungkook.

Jungkook : And you?

Jung-hyun : I'm not angry just sad that you didn't keep your promise.

Gyu-Young : (Sighing) I really can't stay mad with you for so long.

Jungkook : (Winking) That's because you love meeee....

Gyu-Young : That I do. (Smiling)

Jung-hyun : And me too.

Jungkook : But I'm really angry on the hospital staff. They invaded someone's privacy. (Huffing)

Jung-hyun : Don't be so dramatic. They did because we told them to, we already know the doctor who treated you. We have worked in that hospital before.

Jungkook : Really? You never told me you worked here.

Gyu-Young : That was before you were born. Anyway, Yugyeom told that someone helped you in that lift. You didn't tell us where you were yesterday.

Jungkook : Ahh...It's a very long story. I forgot to tell you. You know about the The six Kim brothers, they're very popular here.

Jung-hyun : No, we don't. What about them?

Of course they knew about their nephews being called the six Kim brothers in Korea, but they didn't want Jungkook to know. So, they lied.

Jungkook : So, two of those Kim brothers, Kim Jimin and Kim Taehyung attended the commencement ceremony. I told you that I was going to sing there, and they really liked my voice, so they insisted me on doing an audition with their label, BigHit.

Gyu-Young : So you went for the audition yesterday?

Jungkook : Yes. Their other brother, Kim Hoseok, auditioned me and told me I was really good. And after the audition, we again met in the lift and got stuck there. Yugyeom told me that he and his brother Taehyung took me to the hospital. And you know what, they even cleared hospital bills. And today, I sent Hoseok-ssi, a bouquet as a gratitude gift.

Gyu-Young and Jung-hyun silently listened to Jungkook.

Jungkook : Interestingly I even met their other brother, Kim Yoongi, three weeks ago in Itaewon Street. And Mingyu jokingly said that I was collecting the Kim brothers like Pokemon. (Laughing) Why are you silent?

Gyu-Young : Uh...Nothing, we are listening to you. So how did the audition go? You want to become a trainee there?

Jungkook : Ah...No...I just went for an audition because Yugy, Bamie and Mingyu insisted. Even if I clear the audition, I don't know if I want to be in that field. It's too exhausting.

Jungkook : Why the surprise visit?

With that they ended the call. Jungkook was really happy on hearing that he is going to see his parents after so many months. On the other hand, Jung-hyun and Gyu-Young are thinking about the Kim brothers and Jungkook.

Gyu-Young : I...I really think that destiny is playing its thing.

Jung-hyun : What do you mean?

Gyu-Young : I was sure that they'll have to cross paths since they are living in the same town, if not now, after sometime. But after listening to Jungkook, I had this thought that what if someday they find out that Jungkook's their brother? I can't imagine how they'll react. You know their temper, what if they something that hurts Jungkook?

Jung-hyun : You are right. How about we talk with the boys next week?

Gyu-Young : About Jungkook?

Jung-hyun : Yeah. It's been 18 years. We too, didn't talk about Jungkook, with them.

Gyu-Young : I just hope that they think rationally this time.

Jung-hyun : Me too, Gyu-Young....But what about we tell Jungkook, about them?

Gyu-Young : What are you going to say? That his brothers didn't want him in their lives. He'll be devastated. If his brothers don't want to acknowledge him, then so be it.
