"Not a very good listener, are you?" the human-like figure questioned teasingly, giggling at the very end. Gabriel recognized the voice as the one from the PA system. This was Miss Delight. If he had to guess, she was probably one of the school teachers. Eyeing the bizarre weapon she carried, Gabriel stuttered, "Um, well... funny story but-"

"Don't you think for one second that you're going to weasel your way out of this," Miss Delight interrupted, turning around. Gabriel could feel his stomach churn when he saw her heavily disfigured face. She was obviously a doll, this was made clear by the plastic molding on her face and arms. But underneath was something entirely different. Her fake mouth was broken, revealing a set of real human teeth and flesh. Clicking her teeth together, Miss Delight stared at Gabriel with a crazed look glistening in her eyes. "Catnap's not happy you are here. Killing you will fix things," she declared, "Class dismissed."

Gabriel was already making a beeline for the door before Miss Delight had finished talking. Ain't no way he was sticking around any longer! And he wasn't out of danger yet. He could hear Miss Delight right behind him. She was giving chase. The man forced himself to run even faster. His leg screamed in agony but he ignored it in favor of running.

A closed gate was up ahead, blocking the path. Noticing a power outlet, Gabriel fired the green hand at it, collecting an electrical charge. He fired it at the scanner next to the door, opening the gate. Racing through and turning right, Gabriel sprinted down this next hallway. He could see an exit at the other end. All he needed to do was get there and shut the gate behind him. Seemed easy enough. Running into the room, he glanced over his shoulder.

Miss Delight was now in the hallway. She froze when she was spotted. Puzzled by this reaction, Gabriel turned his head away for a moment and looked back at the hallway. Miss Delight was now closer. She was also not moving again, not while she was being watched. Looking towards you dear reader, Gabriel remarked, "Is it just me or is that a little unnerving?"

A battle cry from Miss Delight snapped Gabriel back into reality. Right, trying not to die from a teacher. Spotting a lever nearby, the man grabbed it with both hands and pulled as hard as he possibly could. The lever went down and so did the gate just as Miss Delight walked underneath.

A sickening crunching sound followed.
