His heart dropping, Gabriel almost dropped his phone in shock. He wasn't the only one who was surprised. The moment the light hit his eyes, Huggy backed up really quick. In doing so, the giant toy tripped over a section of the train tracks and fell to the ground. Backing up against the wall, Gabriel kept the light on the toy. He couldn't do anything more as he waited for Huggy to do something, anything. But there was nothing happening.

The pair had entered a stalemate.

Gabriel held his breath, anxiously waiting for something. He was completely vulnerable. He didn't have any weapons and his switchblade was not going to do anything against Huggy. He couldn't run away, not with his injured leg. So, all he could do was keep an eye on the giant toy and pray that he wouldn't do anything rash. Strangely, Huggy hadn't done anything yet either.

Laying on the ground where he had fallen, Huggy was staring right back at Gabriel. The toy breathed heavily and he appeared to be shaking. Blood dripped from the giant's mouth where it seemed like he was missing some teeth. Keeping the light on Huggy's face, Gabriel noticed a dark stain just above his left eye. When he moved the light to investigate, the man realized that it was more blood. Huggy had a massive wound on his forehead and it was still bleeding.

"Oh my god..." Gabriel whispered softly. Doing a full inspection now, he uncovered more wounds. There was a huge tear in Huggy's left shoulder. The man imagined that the toy probably couldn't move that limb very well, if at all. Bruises and small cuts were scattered all over the toy's body and one of his legs looked a little messed up. The blue giant had seen better days.

Concern washed over Gabriel. He couldn't bear the thought of seeing someone or something in pain. And Huggy was very much in pain. Swallowing hard, the middle aged man held up his calloused hands to show he meant no harm. "It's okay big guy, it's okay," he rasped, taking a step down onto the train tracks. His eyes widening in fear, Huggy sat up and began crawling away backwards. Stopping, Gabriel spoke in a hushed voice, "Shh, shh. It's okay. I just wanna help you."

Huggy stared at Gabriel for what felt like the longest time. His eyes were filled with panic and fright. He was scared. Gabriel couldn't blame him. He had caused the blue giant to fall from the catwalks. The man couldn't save him then but maybe now he could. He had to try. Holding out his hand, the human being murmured, "It's gonna be okay, I promise." Huggy's gaze locked onto the hand for a minute. Then he unexpectedly sprang into action. Moving as fast as his wounded body could go, the giant toy scrambled to get away. Galloping past the train wreckage, Huggy disappeared further down the train tunnel. Sighing softly, Gabriel slowly got up to his feet and limped the opposite direction. Hopefully he could meet up with Huggy later and make things alright. But for now, he had to get to Playcare.
