Kokichis pov

I lay against Kaitos chest blushing slightly. He's helped me through so much and gave me a reason to live. We even escaped the killing game together. I should feel nothing but gratitude to this man but instead I feel... Love?

At first it wasn't that bad. It was just a little flutter that I could ignore but now when we are apart my chest hurts so bad that I can't handle it!

"okay kokichi it's time for me to go home" kaito said getting up.

"wait! Please don't go!" I yelled clinging to his back tearfully.

"you've been real clingy lately kichi. Do you want to talk about it?" he asked gently. He's always been so patient with me ever since my suicide attempt. I don't feel like I deserve him.

"hey talk to me baby boy" he said wiping away the tears I didn't realise I was spilling.

"I-I-I think I love you" I stuttered.

"you do?" he looked surprised.

I nodded looking to the ground. I'm such an idiot! He probably doesn't want a relationship like that. I mean who would want to date me! I ruined everything didn't I-

My thoughts were cut off by a pair of lips against mine. I could feel a goati scratching my chin. There's no doubt I'm definitely being kissed by kaito!

"I'm so glad you feel the same way" he grinned.

I lost control and hugged him with tears in my eyes. I can't remember the last time I was this happy. This really is a dream come true.
