Five months later

I rubbed my stomach with a sigh. I gotten really big since the pregnancy. Gonta sat next to me and placed a hand on my stomach.

"cubs getting bigger isn't he?" gonta smiled. We just found out that we're having a boy last week and we're pretty excited.

"he sure is" I said snuggled next to him happily.

The pregnancy hadn't been easy. I've been throwing up, having mood swings and cry fits but gontas been nothing but supportive and everyone's really excited for the baby. Keade even talked about hosting a baby shower which sounds really fun!

"so big guy do you have any idea what we should name our kid?" I asked.

Gonta thought for a moment "gonta had close wolf friend named kota. Maybe cub could be called kota"

"kota. I like that na-ow!" I clutched my stomach in pain. Gonta looked at me worryingly.

"is kokichi alright?" gonta asked gently.

"yeah I think the baby just started kicking" I said reassuringly.

His eyes lit up as he lay his head on my stomach.

"wow! Little cub kota really is kicking"

He lay his head on my stomach. I petted his hair gently with a smile on my face. I know our child isn't born yet but it already feels like we're a real family.
