Third Person's P.O.V

Ken, Boruto, Shikadai, and Denki walk inside of the classroom.

"Good morning everybody! My name is Boruto Uzumaki, ya know! It's nice to meet all of you!" Boruto exclaims loudly. Everybody turns and stares at him silently. Ken sighs and heads over to go sit down away from Boruto.

"Hey Ken where are you going?" Boruto asked.

"To sit down anywhere that not near you loser. You giving me a headache. I see you later Shikadai," Ken said walking over to an empty seat away from Boruto.

"Didn't I tell you to keep a low profile," Shikadai mutters as he and Denki walk over to where Boruto. "Also Ken try to keep your temper under control before you get in trouble," Shikadai said sighing.

Boruto frowns and stops Denki and Shikadai. "Hey, Denki, which one's my desk?" He asked.

"You can just sit anywhere," Denki replies.

"Oh, so that's how it works," Boruto says as he starts walking to an empty desk. "Hey guys, how's it going?" He says to the other students as he passes.

Boruto went to take a seat in between Shikadai and Denki. As for Ken just like he said he was sitting far away from Boruto.

"My mom's finally gonna ease up on me," Boruto said as he laid his head on the desk.

"Your mom?" Denki asked.

"I had to study at home for the whole two weeks," Boruto explained clearing Denki's confusion.

"That's him... how come he wasn't punished after doing something like that?" A group of boys were gossiping at the back of the class.

"I mean... you know..." The bigger boy said.

"That wasn't just some silly prank. If the train car landed in town, it would have been a disaster," The boy in blue said.

"We all be dead," A boy in black said.

"Shh! He can hear you," The boy in brown said.

Denki turned to look at Boruto. "That's...." Denki said.

"Don't pay attention to them," Shikadai said with his arms crossed.

"I'm not...They can say whatever they want," Boruto said with his arm behind his neck.

"Well, okay then," Shikadai said.

"Oh! I forgot my textbook," Boruto said.

"This is your first day!" Shikadai said.

"Share yours with me Shikadai," Boruto said placing his hand on Shikadai's textbook.

"What a drag. No way.."

"C'mon, don't say that," Boruto said trying to grab the textbook.

Ken was watching the scene from his seat and rolled his eyes at Boruto behavior.

'He nothing but trouble. It's his first day and he already forgot his textbook,' Ken thought taking out his textbook.

Sarada's P.O.V

"That Boruto sure stands out," Sumire said.

"Really?" Chocho said filing her nails. "Aren't people paying attention to him only because of that ridiculous stunt he pulled?" She asked. "You know him, don't you, Sarada?"

"Our parents are friends, that's all," I replied.

"So, you're saying...you're childhood friends," Chocho said.

"I wouldn't call us that," I sated. "I kinda find it annoying, being lumped together with him."

"Are talking about Boruto?" A familiar quiet voice asked.

I looked at the table in front of me, Chocho, and Sumire and saw Amaya looking back at us.

"Yeah," I replied.

"I can't blame you Boruto is really annoying," she said in her normal quiet tone.

"His dad's so cool though," Chocho said.

"Lord Naruto, the Hokage..." Sumire said.

"Yeah," Chocho said agreeing."Harsh experiences in life polish a man,"

"I guess Lord Seventh is kinda cool," Amaya muttered making me look back at her.

Amaya is one of the most beautiful and skilled girls in the class. She gets her looks from her incredibly beautiful mother.

Amaya is extremely quiet and barely doesn't show that emotion. We hang out with each but sometimes I wish we could become closer friends.

Third person's P.O.V

A boy with pale skin and blonde hair color passes by Sumire and her friends.

"Riding on the Hokage's coattails, huh?" Inojin said.

"H-Hey, Inojin!"Sumire said.

"That a rude thing to say," Kono said.

"Oops, did I just say that out loud?" Inojin asked.

"Hey Inojin, take that back," Shikadai said.

"Oh, sorry, if it touched a nerve, I take it back. But that's just how everyone's feeling here. If anyone else caused a runaway train, it would be normal if they were thrown in jail," Inojin said.

Denki then stands up when he was about to speak Boruto also stands up and places his hand on Denki's shoulder.

"Hey, Boruto. How long has it been?" Inojin asked giving Boruto a fake smile.

"Hi, Inojin," Boruto said.

Then they all started talking together. Boruto tries to shake hands with Inojin, but Inojin slaps it and says he doesn't consider him worth his trust.

Sumire then stands ups. "Excuse me! We'll be studying together, so let's try to get along!"

"She right we should try to get along while we're in class together," Kono said standing behind Inojin.

"Where did you come from?" Inojin asked.

"That none of your business. You heard her go sit down," Kono said.

Inojin nodded.

"Whatever you say since your more trustworthy than Boruto," Inojin said.

'Kono is so annoying when he sneaks up on people like that. Sometimes I wish he wasn't my cousin. Cousin Meiko is less annoying than him,' Ken thought.

Suddenly Shino-sensei walked inside of the classroom. Surmise then tells everyone to stand and everyone obeys and stands up. Inojin and Kono go back to their seats shortly after.

[Timeskip]

They had to complete an obstacle course.

"Boruto! You're terrific you were the throw best in class!" Denki exclaimed.

"What? I'm not on top?" Boruto asked.

"Of course not loser," Ken said walking over to Boruto and Denki.

Denki shows them the ranking.

1. Inuzuka Ken
2. Yuino Iwabe
3. Uzumaki Boruto

"Of course he this guy gets first," Boruto said annoyed.

"Yeah because I'm better than you right, Cookie?" Ken asked. Cookie barks in agreement. "But who is Iwabe?"

"The one with the second-best time isn't here today," Denki said looking around."He did say it wasn't worth hanging around amateurs like us."

"Amateurs! How dare he call me an amateur!" Ken growled.

"I'm mad too but you should calm down before you hurt someone," Cookie said.

"Ugh," Boruto said looking at Ken kind of freak out by his rage.

[Timeskip]

Ken, Shikadai, Denki, and Boruto walked inside of the classroom and see some boys and Boruto asks them if they could eat together but they say they will eat on the rooftop and that they should hurry too. Ken then smells a scent and looks back at the empty table in the back.

"What's wrong with them?" Boruto asked.

"Don't know but I smell someone," Ken stated.

"Get out of here," A mysterious voice said.

Ken then sees a guy appear at the spot where he was looking.

"I'm using this room right now and you're bothering me," The guy said.

"Who is he?" Ken asked.

"It's Iwabe," Denki said.

"The Repeater Iwabe. It's rumored that he failed the graduation exams twice." Shikadai said.

"So you're our senior. Nice to meet you!" Boruto said.

"Don't get all friendly with me. You damned Hokage's son!" Iwabe shouted.

"It doesn't matter whose son I am," Boruto said.

Iwabe then jumps down to Boruto and holds him by the collar, talking about the reason he doesn't like the idea of having a guy like Boruto around.

Iwabe then throws Boruto. Iwabe then tells Boruto to come at him. Denki stops him.

"I wouldn't if I were you. Even the teachers are impressed with Iwabe's taijutsu

"Then why did he flunk?" Boruto asked.

"If I had to guess it because he not academically smart," Ken stated eating his bowl of rice.

Iwabe got mad and glared at Ken. "Why you! Both of you fight me now!"

"I shouldn't be fighting you but you are really getting on my nervous!" Ken growled standing up and eats the last bite of his lunch.

[Timeskip]

"What?! Where are my students?" Shino asked.

Meanwhile...

The students were gathered in the training hall. Boruto and Ken we're standing on the opposite side of Iwabe.

"What, you scared?" Iwabe teased.

"No way. This exercise hall is just like a fighting ring. This is gonna be fun," Boruto said looking around the hall.

Iwabe stabbed his pole into the ground next to him. "Watch closely, you guys! This is a ninjutsu match according to the Academy rules!" Iwabe announced.

"Don't worry, I won't use this. Because if I did, you two would die!" Iwabe said confidently. Ken narrowed his eyes at Iwabe and then looked up at Cookie on his head.

'He underestimating us...he really getting on my last nerves.' Ken thought getting in his fighting stances.

Iwabe throws shurikens at Ken and Boruto, they dodged it. Boruto ran straight at Iwabe, aiming a punch at him. Iwabe blocked it and tried to kick him. Boruto dodged it and black flipped away from him, making Iwabe kick the ground instead. "So you can keep up a little," Iwabe said.

Ken and Cookie ran towards Iwabe, throwing shurikens at him. This distracted Iwabe as he had dodged it. Boruto appeared behind Iwabe. Boruto appeared behind Iwabe.

'He's fast!' Iwabe thought as Boruto kicked him, but Iwabe caught his leg. Boruto then aimed a punch and quickly turned, so that he could kick him on the head. Iwabe, however, managed to block every attack.

"It's working," Iwabe said and threw Boruto to the side. Boruto hit hid back on the wall, hard. 'Dang it Boruto!' Ken thought as he and Cookie ran at Iwabe using man-beast clone, kicking him from both sides. 'Such powerful team and kick.' Iwabe thought as Ken and Cookie threw a punch at him, sending him flying backward.

However, Iwabe used substitution jutsu's and grabbed Ken's arms from behind. However, Ken flipped his legs up and kicked Iwabe in th face.

Ken then went over to Boruto. "Your still able to fight aren't you loser?" Ken asked with a grin.

"Yeah, he just made my clothes dirty!" Boruto shouted as he threw shurikens at Iwabe and immediately running behind the broken walls placed in the hall.

Brouto replaced himself with a shadow clone and sent it to fight Iwabe. Iwabe managed to defeat the shadow clone.

"This way!" Boruto said from behind him. He kicked Iwabe, making him fly back, but he was replaced with a log.

'Again with substitution,' Ken thought.

"Damn it!" Boruto crushed as two of his shadow clones and Ken stood on a defensive stance just in case Iwabe came his way.

One of Boruto's clones took a step back, leaning on a wall, only to be caught by Iwabe. "Substitution with Disguise jutsu. Not bad," Boruto complimented.

"You too. Shadow Clones that stay manifested... That's some charka you have," Iwabe complimented back.

Boruto made clones and charged at Iwabe. Iwabe bent down and uses his leg to trip all he clones. The real Boruto fell back and made more clones. Iwabe threw a smoke bomb blinding Boruto and Ken. In the distance, Boruto and Ken see Iwabe. Boruto sent his clones at him. However, they were defeated. The smoke cleared to reveal Boruto, Ken, and Cookie in Man beast clone transformation.

"I'm not about to give in to a guy who thinks you can do anything if you're strong," Boruto said.

"But you will. That's what the Hokage and all the adults have been doing. They rose up using their power... And now, they just decide the times have changed? If things were the same, I'd have graduated and become a ninja long ago! But unless I pass the courses that have nothing to do with ninjutsu, I can't graduate!" Iwabe complained.

"Could you...possibly just be really bad at studying?" Boruto asked.

"So what?!" Iwabe asked back.

"You're taking it out on the wrong people," Boruto said.

"What did you say?!" Iwabe asked.

"If you wanna become a ninja you have to keep at it, no matter how many times you fail. That is the true way of a shinobi." Ken said.

"Instead, you blame the times, skip classes, and act as the world's against you!" Boruto said fighting along with his clones. Boruto grabbed Iwabe from behind.

"That is so uncool!" Boruto said. Iwabe grabbed Boruto's head and threw him to the side.

"So you're calling me uncool?!" Iwabe shouted.

"There's no way we're gonna lose to you!" Boruto shouted as he and his clones charged at him. Iwabe waved a cloth in front of him and disappeared.

"What's wrong? I'm over here!" Iwabe shouted, standing on a wall. "Shadow clones are useless when the real body goes down!" Iwabe shouted as he threw shurikens at one of Boruto's clones, thinking it was the real him. His clone disappeared, leaving Iwabe with a shocked expression.

Ken appears out of nowhere and punched Iwabe face and Cookie kicks him to the ground. Ken then walks over to him. "You've got your circumstances... Well, so does everyone else, but they come here despite them," Ken said.

"Don't stand in their way!" Boruto and Ken said in unison. Ken sighed not believing him and Boruto just spoke at the same time.

Iwabe let out a battle cry and jumped to his pole. "Quit messing around, you jerks!" Iwabe yelled as he grabbed his pole and lifting it up to reveal a giant hammer made of rocks. Iwabe then used earth style.

'Oh boy,' Ken thought.

"I want...to become like the Hokage!" Iwabe shouted. "I want to fight like him," he said picking up the hammer. "That's my path! I don't want it all to end here!"

A red bird made ink then came out of nowhere and flew off with the hammer. The bird then flew over to Inojin and turn back into ink.

"What's the big idea?! Iwabe asked.

"What? Didn't you say you weren't going to use weapons?" Inojin said smiling. "How can you call it a fair fight after breaking the rules?"

"You're right... I'm uncool," Iwabe admitted.

Just then Shino-sensei ran in the hall. "What's going on?" He asked. "Boruto!" He shouted.

"Yeah!" Boruto said giving a thumbs up sensei.
