person a hears something that sounds like a tone deaf cat being killed in the apartment next door. they rush over and person b answers the door with noise canceling headphones on. turns out its person b's roommate and their s.o., who sound like hyenas during sex. person a, embarrassed and feeling sorry for person b, invites them over to their apartment with the promise of Netflix, hot chocolate, and sanctuary. one thing leads to another and they end up annoying neighbors themselves.
