Person A wakes up in the middle of the night after a nightmare in the arms of Person B who is fast asleep. To calm themselves down Person A watches Person B sleep and whispers 'I love you'. That is the first time either one of them has said those three words. What person A doesn't know is person B is actually awake and heard them. How Person B reacts is up to you.
