Where did she go now?? Neil wondered.

But Before his thoughts could even complete in his mind some people grabbed his hands..They were Airport security police... You were the one with the girl, right?? They yelled at his face...

Kousi ladki?? Main kisi ladki ko nahi janta hoon...aur na main kisi ke saath.... (What?? I donot know any girl!!!) Before neil could finish the officer dragged them to Airport security rooms and left their hold with their force...

Before neil could say a thing in his defence and understand the situation his eyes saw a chaotic sight... Aarohi... he said all shocked..

Tumne toh kaha tha tum kisi ladki ko nahi janti ho.....(you told you knew no girl??) The officer smirked unknowingly fuelling Arohi's anger...

Arohi: Tum kisi ladki ko jaante hi nahi ho , toh jao na....Aarohi ko kisi ki zarurat nahi hai....(You don't know anyone na?? I don't need your help).. she roared

Neil: Aree...tuym..toh..chipkali hona isliye.... And made faces back at her...

Arohi looking at the officers.. aur yeh bhi kaunsa ladka yeh bhi ladka nahi nahi officer, pureke pure chamgadad hai.....

The guards: You two stay here...until our officer comes don't try to escape  things will only become worse .... You are under our surveillance.

After the guards left aarohi neil answered back at her... Main jo bhi hoon atleast police ke hawale hokar tho nahi baita hoon na...

To which aarohi laughed sarcastically. Fir kaha apni mehal se bait kar baath kar rahe ho???tum bhi vahi jaha main hoon...

Haa..par teri vajase....neil retorted...

Meri vajase?? Main toh teri akshara bhabi ke liye hi gayi thi..tumhara help karne...

Neil had lost it he folded hands in front of her and stared at her an uttered a thank you...

Neil tum???? Before aarohi could complete the officers entered...silencing both...

Now there was a pin drop silence in thee room the two were standing in a straight row one beside the other with heads down like a student waiting for his teacher to reprimand...

The silence in the room was intimidating the two...

The officer signalled both to sit...and they obliged and sat like kids ...staring at each other's soul.

Whats your name and where are you from? the officer asked.

Arohi and neil pointed to wards each other and concomitantly went chipkali... chamkhadad...

The officer stared at them....like he would eat their souls...

Neil and Arohi adjusted themselves and said their name...and their address

The officer: what were you trying to do ?

Neil immediately spoke....Maine nahi...seeing the officer glare he went silent...

Arohi too stared at him...and spoke.. sir saare galti Maine ki hai....I wanted to check the cctv camera and i broke the security it was my fault....

Neil looked at her...in confusion...

Arohi continued... Actually my sister is missing and...her passport is also not there...

Then complain to police they would have taken the matter and aapko easily cctv footage mil jata.the officer interrupted...

Arohi gulped in her saliva...
I know sir...  But it's not that easy...she had written not to go to police ....mere ghar mein everyone is so emotionally affected...and...they cannot afford anymore stress now....

Neil heard Arohi say that.. to find about bhabhi she took risks??? His mind was confused...like Arohi do that...the one who always brawled at her... The girl who never showed she cared , actually all this while cared for her sister??? His mind pondered with so many questions....or was she doing it all for the sake of family?? What is it?? Why is this girl so complicated???

So you thought you will find out?? Airport security ko kya samaj ke rakha hai....?? The officer asked...

Sorry sir....Arohi said...but I am at fault yeh bas mujhe drop karne Aya...he is not at fault...he didn't even know....

Officer : who is he? Your boyfriend???

Both stared at each other and gulped in their saliva in....

Both simultaneously...nahi yeh didi ka devar ...bhabhi ka behna....they said...

The officer looked at them for a while...

But, now Neil's mind did a back flip ...why is she protecting him....?!? Why is she this good?? Is she pretending?? Or was she this good always but he had just now noticed??? God! Why is she like this??? He wondered... His thoughts were cut in with the officer's voice....

Officer: Then it's simple.. call your family and ask them to come her..once they come and vouch...we will let you with a warning varn seedha jail.....

Arohi froze at officer's words.... If only she can call her family know.....for she knew how her bade papa would react on this to her.!!! What was sshe even thinking?? How did she forget about security?? Had she lost her senses to find the whereabouts of akshu?? Her mind cursed her...and he hands started to shiver....which was clearly noticed by neil and the officer...

Officer sarcastically: why are you afraid ? When you are saying the truth....

Arohi understood his sarcasm ...and understood this too that there was no point of explaining him...

What will happen aarohi?? Again you will be blamed you will be scolded?? Seh lenga yaar... To be honest for this stupidity you deserve this too... Par bade papa health is also not good ..what if it worsens with this!!!?Aaahhhhhhhhhh her mind wanted to burst....

Arohi looked at neil with hesitation....

Neil too saw her...should I say the officer to call manjari ma instead?? She can vouch for us too and ...drama can also be avoided ...

While they both were thinking another officer barged into the room ... and whispered something into the officer's ears and went....

After the other officer went... We have informed your home...they will be coming ...let's see..until then you guys are in this room while I go for rounds remember if you try to escape it only gets worse...he said and left the room...

Well that line was like the last nail to the coffin to both of them....they knew what all drama was going unfold infront of them....

Neil: you said you know a man and he refused to help , then what happened?? Itni badi problem kaisi fas gayi tu??? Aur mujhe bhi fasa Diya???

Arohi: Haa... He refused...and you accepted the defeat so soon...but i followed literally nagged and begged him ..to show the cctv ...and walked with him till his office but he still refused...but i entered the his restricted access room accidentally...samja...sab kuch ek accident tha...before I could realise i was held by these cops....it was a genuine mistake....
Aarohi retorted .

As soon as aarohi finished all of this one go..her mind questioned.. will he believe ...her?? What if he doesn't?? Wait, what if bade papa doesn't??her heart raced at this thought....

Neil listened to what aarohi said... and sighed... Yaar it's a genuine mistake yaar ..you should have said this to officer .....

Neil's words made her come out of her intrusive thoughts.....

His words it was a genuine mistake...was like a melody to her...But will her bade papa show her a slight ray of trust in her...???

As they say int he room...
Manjari and bade papa entered the room...with the officers...

The officer: your family has vouched for you...we even read the letter...but miss Arohi Goenka be careful next time..we are leaving you both with a warning....

They both thanked the officer left ...

The four walked out of the airport...
Neil: maa..that was a genuine mistake...
Manjari: koi baat nahi beta fficer ne bataya Hume...(no problem...the officer explained ) and hugged him..

Aarohi quietly and desperately saw her bade papa ... Neil too saw Arohi waiting for her bade papa to say the same...

As for Arohi she did not even want to hear the same from her bade papa ....a hand on her..shoulders...or chalo would have also been more than enough....

But he was angry...he had all right to...nd was quite all the way to their parking...the silence was slowly killing her ...

while nearing the car... He opened the car for Arohi ..before Arohi could smile at her bade papa's sweet gesture...he voice came ..ab ghar jaake apni stupidity ke bhare me sabko batane ki zarurat nahi hai...kabhi toh aaru apne kam teek se kar!! Har vakt kuch na kuch tere vajese hota rehta... He said breaking her heart even more....

She stared at her bade papa silently ...with her soul dead ...and swallowing her gut....

Neil heard this and felt bad for her...they all sat and drove home...they dropped neil nd manjari home and drove home ....

Whole journey....from airport to their homes...noone talked...

Arohi on the other hand in silence carried her broken pieces of hearts so that none would hear it judder.
