Chapter 8:

"Now that all of you are here... I need some pictures." Nishina stated.

"Pictures?" Igarashi asked, but was ignored.

Suddenly Kae and Nishina were talking to each other.

I shuddered, I..I feel like something bad is going to happen.

I looked at Mutsumi and saw that he felt the same thing, when I looked at the other boys, they were completely oblivious.

I sweat dropped.

After their talk they turned around and smiled at us.

I..I have a feeling that I won't like this...

I watched as they made Igarashi and Nana do different poses.

Same as Shinomiya and Mutsumi.

As for me?

I mentally cried, I was just ignored in the background.

"No! That's not how your supposed to do it!" Kae exclaimed and started to passionately exclaim something.

My mind couldn't process her words when her face went dangerously close to Nishina's.

My eyes were wide
She's... Okay with this?

Her eyes widened when she realized she was too close.

"I-I'm sorry!" She said with a blush.

Nishina smiled.
"You're so cute, senpai." She said and brought her face closer to hers again.

I gasped...no way, they're both girls... She couldn't-------

But she did.

"Y-You're joking right?" Shinomiya asked in shock.

"You should really start taking me seriously, I'm quite serious." She said.

And at that moment, my inner fan girl activated, I love Bl, and yuri...

I stumbled back because my inner fangirl was too powerful, suddenly I tripped on something and fell backwards.

How could I be so stupid?
I closed my eyes, awaiting the impact of the ground, but someone caught me before I could.

My eyes snapped open in surprise, as a reflex, I immediately grabbed unto that person's head.

Bad choice. A very, Very bad choice.

This time we both fell, but I would've chosen me falling alone, than me falling and accidentally..connecting my lips with someone else.

I was in the state of shock, but I immediately snapped out of it and pushed that person away.

"I-I apologize!!!" I exclaimed.

I looked at the person's face, it..it was Mutsumi, he stared at me with wide eyes.

My face turned even redder.
I-I'm really not myself.

I got up with a red face.

Nishina started laughing.
"I-I was just joking, Ayano-senpai! You took it so seriously, even stumbling back in shock."

I wasn't stumbling back in shock...I was containing my inner fangirl making sure it didn't escape, but..I guess that's less embarrassing than the truth.

The truth.....Oh no, it finally clicked in my head on what just happened..

I. Lost. My. First. Kiss.

The boys sighed in relief, since she was..just 'joking'

But Mutsumi? He kept staring at me.

Just..please, please stop staring..it makes me feel uncomfortable.

I buried my face in my hands.
I wish I didn't come...I really wish.

Unfortunately for me, genies don't exist, and impossible wishes can't come true.

Just great.

I was walking back home, when suddenly I got a text from someone.

I opened my phone and saw that it was from my boss.

I mentally face palmed, I forgot...I forgot I had a part time job.

I looked at the text.

Mikazuki.

Your shift starts in an hour, where the hell are you!?

I groaned, I forgot it was today, note to self, buy sticky notes.

I started to run.
I have an hour, I'll get there on time.

"Welcome! Master!" I greeted with a smile.

Did you get any ideas?
I work in a maid cafe, a little far from school, just the way I like it, no one would ever find out.

I took this job to save money for anime, and other personal things, I'm not poor, I just want to be able to provide for myself.

I don't like asking people.

I heard the familiar bell jingle, and I turned to the door with my practiced fake smile.

"Welcome! Ma---"

"Ayano-chan? Is that you?"

My eyes widened in surprise.

No...No way.
Kae!?!

I stared at her in shock and surprise.
"K-Kae-chan?"

"I didn't know you worked in a cafe." She stated.

"A-Are the others with you?" I asked.

She shook her head, and I felt like a heavy weight was lifted off my shoulders.

I sighed in relief.
"Please don't tell anyone." I told her with pleading eyes.

She gave me a confused look.
"Why?"

"I-I'll tell you after my shift."

She smiled at me.
"Well, okay then! Uhh by the way, I'll order the sundae and that cake!"

I nodded at her and gave a nervous smile.
"Y-Yeah..coming right up."

As I told her everything, she just nodded her head.

"I see...so you took this job to save for anime?"

I nodded my head.
"Your not going to tell anyone.. Are you?"

She shook her head and gave me a smile.
"I won't tell anyone! I keep my promises."

I sure hope you'd keep this one..
