CHAPTER 16:

I turned red.
Crap... Forgot about that.

"I..uh..well." I didn't know what to say, I was practically tongue tied.
He just looked at me, awaiting my answer, I lightly coughed "I..was doing a Maid Sama..cosplay." I said.

"Cos...play?"

Ah right..He's not an Otaku.
"It's when you dress up as an anime character." I mumbled.

He suddenly got his phone and snapped a picture of me.

"H-Hey!"

"I'm sending this to the others." He said.

I turned red.
"D-Don't!"

".....Here it is, the send button." He mumbled and showed it to me.

My life is ruined...
Wait...I still have hope.

"I-I'll join the club if you delete it!" I shouted, but when my words sunk in, I wish I could've taken it back.

He smiled.
"Okay then." He said as he showed me the picture being deleted.
"Welcome to the club, Ayano-chan."

Who knew...Who knew that Mutsumi could be so..evil.

I looked at Izumo and Kira, still doing their verbal battle, I sweat dropped.

I yawned, I felt really sleepy, my eyes saw a clock, which just so happened to be on the wall right in front of me.

11:59 P.M

...Huh?

"Ah, the time is wrong." Mutsumi said.

Relief coursed through my veins.
Oh..thank Kami, my sister and father would've killed me.

"Oh..then what time is it?" I asked.

"It's one twenty-one a.m." Izumo said while looking at his watch.

Horror struck my face.
N-No way!!

"Please tell me your watch is wrong."

"It's not."

Welp, I'm dead.

"Ah! We'll drop you home Aya!" Kira exclaimed happily.

"Don't call me, Aya, and by the way..Mutsumi-senpai, I lied." I said.

"Then..I lied too, I saved the picture just in case." He said and gave me a closed eyed smile.

My mouth dropped open,
....He's evil and a genius too? What else do I need to know about him?
Oh come on, Karma. Why? I know that I said that you could hit me with all of your force.
But geez! That was earlier! Can't you forget? Ah..right, your Karma, you never forget.

Right now..we were standing right in front of my house.

"That's... Your house?" Kira asked with a look of disbelief.

"It's so small, girl! It's probably the size of our kitchen! Like geez, need any financial support or anything?" Izumo asked.

I sweatdropped.
"..My house is not small, your house is just big." I said.

"But..this is the house of a commoner!" Kira mumbled.

My eye twitched.
"Not everyone is rich, okay?"

The front door to my house suddenly opened, revealing my little sister holding a pikachu pillow.

"..Big sister?" She mumbled while rubbing one eye.

Izumo's eyes sparkled as he glomped her.
"She's adorable! The prime definition of adorableness!! She's like the mini you!" He exclaimed while practically hugging the life out of her.

"Izumo, you're killing her." Kira said and pulled him off her.

Asuna tilted her head.
"Why are you in a maid suit?" Her gaze then landed to Izumo and Kira, then she looked at the limousines behind them.
She then gasped.
"No! Did you sell yourself to provide money for our family!? But we're not poor nee-chan! Don't leave us!"

Izumo and Kira bursted out laughing.
"She watched too much drama, that's not healthy for a kid." They said in sync and laughed again.

My eye twitched.
..I forgot only father knew, not Asuna.. But I'm too lazy to answer that, I'll tell her next time, I don't care if she's in a big cliffhanger right now.
After all, she's family.
And I love her.

I sneaked inside my house, leaving Asuna with them.

I'm sorry, Asuna, but it's for my own good.

I walked to my bed, and threw myself on it.

Ah..home sweet home.

A few days later, Kae got slightly better and better.
Until the day we're going to play finally came...
And let me tell you, this.

We need one more point before the time runs out, or else we'll lose.

And I hate losing.

As we took our break, Kae came up to us.

"I need you guys to pass me the ball." She said.

They looked hesitant, since..well.. you know.
But in the end they agreed.

When the game resumed I suddenly had the ball.

"Ayano-chan! Over here!" Kae yelled out.

"No, over here!" Another one of my team members yelled.

I faced the other team member, Kae looked a little betrayed, and the opponent team surrounded her I saw some of their members rushing to me to try to get the ball, leaving Kae unguarded.

I smirked.
..Fools.

"Kae! Heads up!" I yelled as I sidekicked it to her.

And just when she got it, she kicked it to the direction of our goal.

My eyes widened in horror and disbelief
"Kae! What are you---"

Before I knew it, the ball, hit the goal of our opponent.

I sighed, I shouldn't have doubted her
...I forgot she could do that, that was really unexpected.
Our team erupted in cheers and surrounded her.

I lightly smiled, Kae, you're really something, aren't you?

The group, Nishina, Nana, Igarashi and Mutsumi all surrounded her with smiles on their faces, they saw me and told me to join them.
When I walked up to them, they made me join a group hug.
When one of them laughed, it was contagious, making..me laugh as well.

But this time.. I didn't stop it, I actually felt free...The only other people aside from Tsuki, that could make me laugh and smile like this.

....They're really weird, making me open up like this.

I thought only Tsuki could do that, I thought I couldn't ever make real..friends.

For once in my life, I'm actually happy to know that I was wrong.
