Leonardo was at his favorite place, in the woods behind the Foot Base was an old stone shrine that was covered in moss, surrounding it was cherry trees, a calm and soothing river flowed past, the birds were always singing. He took a deep breath as he stared out at the cherry trees, it was so peaceful. The sound of a gong broke him out of his trance. He turned around and quickly made his way back to the Base. Once there he went straight to the dojo where a couple dozen Foot soldiers were waiting. Leonardo walked up a set of stairs and onto a platform where his sensei was waiting. 'Leonardo.' he said bowing his head to him. Leonardo did the same 'master Karu.' he replied, he looked out at the soldiers 'get into position.' he ordered. The soldiers bowed their heads and got into their positions. 'begin.' Leonardo ordered putting his hands on the railings as he watched them. It wasn't long and one soldiers began to ignore Leonardo's orders and started to attack another soldier. 'enough!' Master Haru yelled, but the soldier didn't listen. Leonardo growled and jumped over the railing and onto the floor, the soldier instantly stopped and scrambled to his feet as he got closer to them while the other laid there motionless, his uniform wet from his blood. Stopping Leonardo knelt down pressing a finger to his neck 'he's alive. Take him to the infirmity.' Leonardo ordered as he stood up. Two soldiers quickly picked him up and carried him out. Leonardo glared at the soldier standing a few feet in front of him 'you will pay for your insolence!' Leonardo growled as he unsheathed his katanas. The soldier drew his own blade and prepared to defend himself. Leonardo charged, his blades clashing against the soldiers, he was no match for Leonardo. Within a few seconds Leonardo had thrown him to the ground and stabbed the soldiers blade into the floor beside his head. 'not bad.' a deep voice said as a man stepped out from the shadows behind Leonardo. He turned around 'master Saki.' he said as he quickly knelt down along with the soldiers. Saki walked over to him 'come with me Leonardo.' he said heading for the door. Leonardo stood up and turned to the soldiers 'that is enough for today.' he said. The soldiers bowed their heads and left. 'clean up.' he ordered the soldier who was still lying on the ground. Leonardo quickly followed Saki who was waiting at the door. They walked without talking until they got to Master Karu's house. As he walked in Leonardo's eyes instantly went to the young woman sitting with Karu. Karu stood up and motioned towards his office. Saki nodded as he went into the office. Karu followed him and closed the door behind him. Leonardo quickly turned his attention back to the woman 'kon'nichiwa Karai.' he said as he sat down across from her. Karai smirked 'hello to you too Leonardo. it's been a while.' she replied. Leonardo nodded 'it has. So tell me, what are you two doing here? I thought you two were training soldiers at the main base.' he said. Karai sighed as she leaned back 'we were. And my father hasn't told me why we're here, but he rarely tells me anything these days.' she said. Leonardo nodded as he glanced over towards the office, he was about to speak when the office door opened. Saki stepped out with Karu. Leonardo couldn't help but notice something the looks of deep thought on Karu's face. 'Leonardo, Karai. have the soldiers clear out one of the dojos and prepare it for tomorrow.' Saki said. Leonardo nodded 'hai master.' he said. Karai did the same and they left.

As they walked to the dojo Leonardo looked over at her 'what's tomorrow?' he asked. 'my father called a meeting for all our allies. Whatever the reason is, it's important. There hasn't been a meeting this large since before I was born.' Karai replied. Once at the dojo Leonardo opened the large doors and summoned the soldiers. It wasn't long before the dojo was filled with soldiers who stood awaiting their orders. 'Master Saki wants this dojo emptied and cleaned, get to work.' Leonardo ordered. The soldiers quickly got to work, removing the racks of weapons and training dummys before sweeping and mopping the floor. A soldier walked towards the platform and bowed his head 'Sensei shall we bring in the tables now?' he asked. Leonardo was about to answer him when Karai stepped forward. 'do it.' she said. The soldier looked over towards Leonardo, when he nodded they left for the storage building. Leonardo glanced over at Karai, a smirk played at his lips as his eyes drifted down her frame, he quickly looked away when the soldiers came back.

That night Saki was checking the dojo with Karai. 'are you going to tell me why you've called a meeting?' she asked. Saki set down the glass he was holding and looked at her 'right now, it is not your concern.' he said before leaving. Karai balled her fists and groaned, she left the dojo and went to her house. 'Karai.' someone said as they walked over to her. A small smile spread across her lips 'hello grandfather.' she said. Karu smiled 'I wanted to ask if you'd like to join Leonardo for training in the morning.' he offered. Karai sighed 'is it your leg again?' she asked. Karu shook his head 'no no, I just wanted to give you a break from your father. I can sense the tension between you two.' he said. Karai folded her arms 'everything was fine before he started keeping everything a secret from me.' she said annoyed. Karu put a hand on her shoulder 'I'm sure he has a reason..' he said. 'yea, I'm sure he does..' Karai replied looking off into the woods.

Sorry this took so long. I don't have an excuse and I'm not going to lie to all of you. I haven't updated in a long time because I just haven't felt like it, I'm sorry.
