"Sushila you don't understand, in
these 10 months I have never left
Ruhi alone."
"What are you trying to say
Pramod?" Sushila asked while
packing his suitcase.
"She is habitual to sleep in my
arms and how will I stay away
from her for 1 whole week."
"Pramod don't worry, we will video call you and 1 week toh halwa hai!
We all know how much important this deal is for you and how much hardwork you have put in this.
But nothing is more important than Ruhi, he thought.

.On the day of departure.

"Baby don't miss papa much okay?
Be a good girl and don't cry. I will
miss you so much." pramod kissed her cheeks making her giggle. His eyes turned watery, as it was first time he is leaving his princess alone.
"Pramod.." sushi side hugged
him.She knew how much ruhi
mean to him. She can't even
imagine of leaving ruhi  for a
day, how hard it would be for him. She looked at him who was busy gazing at their daughter and kissing her every now and then.
She was blessed to have both of
them in her life.
At airport,
"By baby, take care. Bye Jaan." He
took both of them in a hug.
As if knowing that her dad is going away from her she started crying making him stop in his tracks.
"Shh.. Ruhi. Dad will be back
soon baby. Shh" sushila  patted her
back, trying to calm the little would
but she was in no mood to stoop
pramod with heavy heart took a
step ahead only to stop. His heart
pained listening to her daughter's
cry.
He knew he can't fall weak but he
becomes weak when it come to her
princess.
"I'm sorry princess." He whispered
to himself wiping tear than ran
down his cheek.
"Pa.pa!" He stopped listening her
call.
"Pa..." He turned around to see
her wriggling in sushila's arms and
raising her arms towards him. Her tear striken face had turned red due to crying. Without any second thought he ran towards her and picked her in his arms.
Just a mere touch of him made
her stop cry. He wiped her tears,
kissing her forehead. He looked at sushila to confirm what he heard was true? She nodded wiping her tears.
He could not believe that her
daughter's first word was 'Papa.'
Now he knew, whatever the work
would be, he will never leave his
princess alone
