The story starts with a girl playing with her best friend... her best friend is she herself.

Ragini Khanna she is young n alone has a father n a mother. She is the apple of their eyes but there is something which is hidden in their eyes pain... fear.... scare.... of losing her....

Ragini come into this world with a heart disease.... time was passing by she was living each day n each time the fullest yet she was alone... there wasn't one friend in her life.

Ragini was now 20 years old. She never thought to come into this age as the doctor had told her she can't survive without a donor heart. But it's okay Ragini has started to live her life like she wants to even her parents r happy as long as she is.

Ragini was in the garden arranging the flowers

A voice come from inside. "Ragini...!".

Ragini turns. "Haan Maa! What happen?". She was still sitting there and looking at the flowers. Well I'm not alone with my short life yet beautiful one... right!?.

Janki come to her. "Ragini... here ur letter has come!". She was holding it in her hands. Ragini got confused. "A letter for me? Abt?". She asked innocently. Janki rolls her eyes. "Uff Ragini here take it n read it!". She went back into the house. "Maa I got an admission in the college!". She was so happy that she took Jankis hands n was twirling around with her.

Janki was happy for her princess. Soon Ragini starts to go to the college. All was new for her but yet she was excited to know more abt it.

She was free minded n was completely happy with herself. It was the first day in college n she got into a ragging. As she was home schooling she had no experience in it.

A boy stood up n went to her. "Hey Beauty show me more of ur smile!". He said coming closer he was abt to touch her face when some stopped him.

"Laksh!"

"Ratan!".

Both glare each other. "Laksh how many times should I remind u to stay out of my way!".

Laksh shook his head. "Do it as much as u want but I won't let u touch her! U understand!". He shouts at Ratan.

Ratan looked at Ragini again. He come closer to her but she hides behind Laksh. She hold his arm n starts to shiver... she was breathing heavily... she was having problems to breath...

Laksh turns to her all who saw that vanished from there. Ragini was sweating... Laksh hold her he places his hand on her back...

"Shhhh dear control all is fine now... hey!". He was protectively holding her. "R u fine?". She falls unconscious in his arms. Laksh lifts her up in his arms n went to the ward with her.

After a few hours Ragini got her conscious back she was in her room. Janki n Shekhar were looking at her. "Ragini how u feel now?".

Ragini nods. "Fine Maa how did I come here?". Janki places her hand on hers. "A boy come n dropped u home. He said u fall unconscious the nurse at the college couldn't do much he got our address bcz of ur ID card!".

Ragini nods. "I missed my first day!". She felt upset... she lies back on the bed n tried to sleep. But all she could do was to cry... cry on her destiny.

I accept my life years ago each day n each moment I live on my own but today was one of the most exciting days. My first day at college. I fall weak in front of all, they will all show pity on me I don't want it...😭.

The next morning

Ragini was in college n everyone was looking at her... she felt their gazes of course who wouldn't after all she fall unconscious on the first day...

The boy come Laksh. "Hi 👋!". He waves with his hand but Ragini ignored it, she doesn't want to be with anyone. She went inside the principal room. She knocked on the door n was called in.

They had a small chat n Ragini was given her schedule for the classes she had to attend.

Laksh was standing there in front of the door leaning toward the wall..

"Hi I'm Laksh. How u feel now?". He comes closer but Ragini shook her head n left.

Laksh felt bad he was determined he come again n again... n again... over a month he tried to become her friend but she always blocked him. She never wanted to be close to someone as she doesn't know how to make it to keep the one happy when she is no more...

On fine day

Ragini was waiting for the bus it was heavy raining...

Laksh stopped seeing there at the bus station. "Ragini come or u will fall sick!".

Ragini refused. "I will manage!" She waits for the bus but looking at the traffic Laksh again asked her to sit in his car. "Come on Ragini.... I won't eat u!".

Ragini hold her bag tight she agrees n sat on the passengers seat. "Thank u!". She didn't looked into his eyes or face. She tried to avoid any contact with him.

Laksh looked at her. "Ragini I know u r not healthy ur parents told me but it doesn't mean to live ur life alone... what kind of life is it when u haven't lived it? U know friends r one of the most powerful energy services u can have!". He looked at her a smile which is million dollar worth.

Ragini shook her head.... tears which were speaking more than million words...

Laksh couldn't bear it. "Ragini please don't cry trust me u will feel better if u have friends with u who care for u...?!".

Ragini shook her head. She doesn't want to talk abt this. "Leave this topic!". She wipes her tears away n looked out of the window.

Laksh tried a lot but no chance she was stubborn but he too... fine Ragini now u will come to me!.

Laksh didn't give any heed to Ragini. He was very busy in his own work. It was his last year n the prom was coming. He was thinking whom to ask but he only wanted one as soon as he closed his eyes he saw her only... but she doesn't care abt his feelings... stupid Ragini!.

Laksh was going to meet her but he again stopped. No Laksh u can't go always this time she has to come! I won't go...

Ragini felt his absence from starting as he was very annoying n she is missing it. What is wrong with me... y do I miss him?.

Ragini was on her way home when she was harassed by Ratan again... "Uff Ragini now there is no shield with u who would stop me!". He come closer while Ragini moves backwards she run from there breathing heavily again.

She hits with someone...

"Ragini!!! What happen?". She hugs him tight. "Laksh!!! Woh Ratan....?". Laksh looked at the direction n Ratan waves him n left. RagLak looked at him.

Ratan got to know abt Ragini the same day she falls unconscious. As Laksh come back n beats him. He got to know abt Laksh try to be her friend but Ragini being stubborn couldn't understand him. Everyone one needs a Cupid.

Laksh looked at Ragini. "R u fine?". He made her sit on the bench n bend down giving her water. He took her bag n took out the medicine she needs. She drunk n took the medicine. "Laksh I'm not a gud friend I won't be here for long...! I will leave u soon...".

Laksh shook his head. "Fine leave me when the time will come but before that spend some of ur precious time with me so I will have some memories to remember... to miss u... to be angry on u... but to judge if u r a gud or bad friend is only then possible to have u as a friend...?". He forwarded his hand.

Laksh was happy he had his friend whom he has given his heart. "Btw I have a job for u...!".

Ragini was shocked. "Job?" She repeat to him confused.

Laksh nods. "Haan job I need a date firths prom! I have no one u r my dare be a friend n say yes... without much questions!". He hugs her "okay fine all done I will pick up u tomorrow at 8 pm be ready I know where u live so no need to give me any wrong information!". He kisses her forehead n left...

Laksh left from there leaving a confused Ragini behind.

Laksh didn't care much abt her time she has all he wants is to spend the rest of her time she has with her...

Ragini went home thinking of him. He kisses my forehead... he asked me to be his friend.... he wants to take me out for a date? No... but I promise what I did...

Laksh was at home.., Ragini too she told her family what Laksh said n she agreed.

Shekhar comes n sat next to her. "What is wrong in living ur life with friends?".

Janki too looked at her. "Haan Ragini, Laksh seems to be a gud boy. It's his last year n he wants to spend some time with u... it will give u too a new feeling!".

Ragini nods. She agrees to their words.

It was the next evening....

Ragini come in simple clothes while Laksh was waiting for her. "Uncle don't worry I will bring her on time...!". Shekhar nods. They heard her foot steps n looked at the stairways....

"Ragini What is this?" Janki come n rushes up with her. She looked at her cupboard n picked out a dress.

Ragini was shocked. "Maa!"
Janki looked at her. "What u bought it to wear it some day today is the day! Here wear it!".

Soon Janki come down with Ragini...

Laksh liked her in any attire. But this was new...

He took her hand n they reached the college. "Ragini u okay?".

Ragini nods with a smile. "Haan I'm okay!".

Laksh smiles. "Btw U r looking very beautiful!". Ragini shies. "Thank U!".

They entered the auditorium n most of them were looking at them as Ragini has kept herself away from everyone. But Laksh was always determined they were dancing together forgetting the other's....

Ragini started to spend more n more time with Laksh who has more n more fallen for her. She being someone who has not much still gives her everything to other's.

She loves to spend the time orphans n elder people's as she knows they don't have any looking after them.

Laksh looked at her n loses himself in her. "Laksh I want ice cream...". "Laksh?!". She waves her hand in front of him. "Where r u lost?". Laksh shook his head with a blushing smirk. "Ice cream?". Ragini nods.

Both are their ice. "Ragini I'm going to start to work at my dads company I won't have that much time to spend with u.... then too Mom n Dad r looking for a suitable bride for me... Uff how to explain them that I don't want to marry!".

Ragini was busy in her ice. "Laksh talk to them, even I do talk to my parents they always guide me!". She said with a big smile n a spoon in her mouth.

Laksh laughs. "Will u help me n talk to them?".

Ragini blinks with her eyes. "If u want I will don't worry!". She agrees n Laksh took her home the same day.

Laksh shows Ragini to his mom. !what say?! He forms with his lips.

AP smiles. "Gud choice!". Ragini got confused. "Gud choice? Laksh there is something...".

Shekhar n Janki were there too... Ragini got more confused...

"Laksh what is going on here?". She turns to him but couldn't find him...

Someone cleanse his throat...

"Ragini I know u don't want this but I want to spend my life with u, even if it means to lose u... I know ur life is short but y to live it alone? Can't I fill it with love?".

Ragini shook her head. "No!". She runs away from there into the night. Laksh looked at her...  he runs behind her.

Ragini was crying bitterly. Laksh come to her he places his hand on her shoulder. ".I know y I never wanted friends...?!". Tears were rolling down her cheeks.

Laksh come to her. "No, y?".

Ragini closed her eyes. "Bcz I don't wanted to miss them...!". Her lips were shaking... "now if I think of dying I think of losing u...!" She cups his face. "What is waiting for me... I will leave u here u will live with my memories but what is with me...?!". She couldn't speak further...

He kisses her lips... "U will leave this world living a life filled with love... I will live a life further without love!". He kisses her forehead.

Laksh took her in his embrace without any struggle she let him...

It took a few attempts to make her agree to marry him...

Laksh n Ragini were married n Laksh convince her to go for a honeymoon.

Laksh looked at her. "Not more than u!". He hold her hand m she rested her head on his shoulder. They reached their rental house.

Ragini went inside with Laksh who had loved her every day...

Laksh was looking for the chimney. He heated the fire n Ragini back hugs him. "What happened?". He hold her hands.

Ragini shook her head. "I love U...!". Laksh turns n looked at her. "U do what?".

Ragini cups his face. "I love U!"....

Laksh was giving her full care but still her health didn't improved there wasn't a donor for her.

Laksh was broken...

Laksh looked at her. "Y? I couldn't save u... I couldn't find a donor for u... I couldn't....!. He cries his heart out...

Ragini tighten her grip. "Laksh I love u... u r free from me... there should always love in ur life...!. She kisses his hand.

Laksh looked at her. "Without u there is no love...!". He kisses her forehead... he felt how her grip was losing the strength...

Laksh was taking care of everyone like Ragini used to do.... his life had no love bcz she wasn't with him...yet he was happy as he had her even if it was for a short time his life was filled with love....
