It's about a childhood love, about a boy and a girl, obviously. It's how two different individuals couldn't stop loving each other even being apart from each other.

The story starts with a man, he is coming home after a long time, he has stayed apart from his family. He is waiting for a car to pick him up from the station. He has returned to his home village after five years.

Today he is 28 years old and his name is....
"Lakshy Maheshwari?" Someone called and a man showed up.

"Kaka I'm Laksh," he bend down to the old man and took his blessing. The man was an old employee of his house, but he do respect him like a family member.

"Beta how was your journey, did you had any problems?" Kaka asked him and took his bag, but Laksh refuses it, he himself put the bag in the car booth and sat on the passengers seat. As he knows Kaka won't let him drive.

"My journey was exciting. I have learnt a lot in this time, but now I want to rest at home. Tell me how are they?" He looked at him and Kaka turns, "all are waiting for you in desperately." He starts the car and Laksh was looking out of the window to see the amazing view of his home village.

How much he had missed it to be here, but it doesn't matter. His work was important and he has to return soon.

They have entered the village and drove to the big mansion.

It was getting decorated by a few servants, "Kaka I'm here just for a few days, then why are they decorating it? You know I won't stay long as soon as the call will come I will leave. I have told them not to make it big."

The old man smiles at him, "your family is showing love toward you, accept it and take it as a gift."

Laksh smiles, the old man always has the right words for him. He took his bag from the car booth and entered the mansion, he didn't looked out and hits the ladder.

"Aahhh!" The voice was from a woman, a young lady, who fall in his arms, the face was covered with the shawl of hers. But he could sense her, she is the one he had missed the most, "Ragini?"

Ragini had closed her eyes as soon as she heard her name from his mouth she opens them, she was looking into his eyes, through the shawl both shared an eye lock. Laksh smiles, he saw it, "you still wearing it?"

Ragini pouts, he broke their moment just because of the chain she is still wearing, she went through her neck and nods, "haan. It's my birth right." She said and stand on her feet's, he waited for her to remove the veil as he wants to see her fully.

Ragini turns her face, but he hold her wrist and shook his head, he lifts the veil to have a clear view on the face of his love.

"Ragini!" Someone called her and she pushes him away, "Ragini." He said and rubbing his chest.

She was gone and he was looking at her shadow, he was smiling the eyes were brimming.

20 years ago

A girl is coming toward a crying boy, "hi!" She said and sat next to him, "why are you crying?" She felt bad and placed a hand on his shoulder, "please stop crying tell me what had happened."

The boy looked at her, "my mom died."

The girl felt bad, "don't cry she will feel bad."

The boy fumed, "why would she feel bad. I'm left alone."

The girl scared, "don't shout at me. I heard people, who died feel the pain of the surviving relatives. Their soul can't rest. You have to be strong."

The boy wipes his tears away, "Sorry I won't cry anymore."

She smiled and his life lighten up, "my name is Ragini and yours?"

He sniffed, "Lakshya."

"Friends?" She forwarded her hand and he took it, "friends."

"Laksh. My son." His father come and hugs him tightly. Which caused him to come out of his memory.

"Papa how are you?" He was hugging his father as tight as he was hugging him.

His father broke the hug, "I have missed you a lot. I hope your stay here will last longer than the previous time?"

Laksh smiles, "Papa that is not in my hands, but as long as I'm here I will stay with you."

He was watched by two brown orbs, the same two of the fall. Haan you have to stay, because I can't lose you again, you have to stay here for me.

Laksh was in his room, he went into the washroom to have a shower, he didn't know that someone come in. He comes out in a towel and there she was sitting on his bed, "Laksh make it fast. We have to go out."

Laksh didn't felt uncomfortable being alone with her, "Ragini you won't change, right?"

Ragini shook her head, "never. Come please."

Laksh smiles, there wasn't a moment he wasn't missing her, she was everywhere. But still he couldn't be with her.

"Okay let me wear something and then we can escape this welcome party, which you have organised, just to get me for yourself." He opens the wardrobe and clothes fall on him, he looked at her and she points on the bed, she already picked the clothes for him to wear.

Laksh shook his head, "you will never change."

"Would you like if?" She question him and he shook his head, "na won't be you." He vanished and comes out in casual wear.

"My city boy you look so handsome, but tell me how do I look?" She twirls around in her yellow dress that he was mesmerised.

"Like always my beautiful angel. Come let's go!" He took her hand and both vanished through the window. She had prepared everything, a ladder was right under the window.

This remembers him a time, when something like this happened

"Laksh! Laksh!! Damn it Laksh!!!" She shouted and pushed him.

Laksh fallen from the bed, he checked the time and glares at her in anger, "have you lost your mind, it's 2 a.m. in the morning. I have to leave at 6 a.m.."

Ragini pouted, "Yes, you have to leave at 6 means we have still four hours to spend together. Now get up."

Laksh was again sleeping, she bite him and he jerked up, "Ragini!" He rubbed his arm and glares at her.

"Come na Laksh please." She begged and he nodded, he was to go through the door when he felt that it's looked, like always.

"Ragini how did you come in?" He asked in disbelief as she showed to the window.

He hit his palm on his forehead, "you are too much." She pulled him the same way down.

RagLak were walking in the night through the village, "Ragini this is a beautiful night."

Ragini nodded, "haan it is. Just look the moon is shining so bright."

Laksh looked up, "haan, but the beauty of yours isn't comparable to the moon. You shine brighter than anything else I have ever seen in my life."

Ragini blushes, "Laksh you are too much." She hits him playfully and walks ahead.

Laksh smiles and was following her silently. They were at their favourite spot. They sat on the rocks of a nearby lake and were witnessing the beautiful view.

Ragini was looking at him, he was staring up to the sky, he wasn't giving her any heed. She pouts, she thought he would say it again.

Ragini crosses her arms around her chest, while this her hands rested on her arms and rubbing them to get some heat.

The same night Ragini abducted Laksh

"Laksh do you have to go? I mean can't you do something else?"

Laksh looked at her, "I don't want to do anything else. I will do what I feel is right. You have thought me this. Do what you want."

Ragini pouted, "Yes, but I didn't told you to join the army."

Laksh nodded, "yes, but you asked me what I want to do. I said I want to help. We both thought and the army was one of the professions I could chose from."

Ragini felt bad, "haan, but what about medicine or police?"

Laksh looked at her, "you know my marks. To become a doctor I have to be a mastermind what I am not. And police didn't took me I didn't passed the academy test. Why do you always have to remind me, how dump I am?".

Ragini turned her face away. He come from the back and placed his jacket on her shoulder, "what?"

Ragini didn't said anything, she kept quiet, "Fine don't say it, then I will say it. I Love you."

Ragini turned towards her, "then don't go!"

Laksh smiled, "but I want to go, I want to help. Just think what will happen if I would stay here?"

Ragini come closer to him, "you would be unhappy, promise me to comeback."

Laksh took his chain and made her wear it. Ragini was numb, "Laksh, this is your mother's last memory. Why are you giving it to me?"

Laksh smiled, "because I can't be without you. I have to return to you."

"Ragini!, hey you abducted me. Now tell me what we are doing here?"

Ragini looked at him, tears were rolling down her cheeks. "Laksh, jump."

Laksh looked at her, "and then?"

Ragini wipes the tears away, that he wouldn't see them, "I will follow."

"What?!" He shouts and she pushes him. She was laughing and he was shivering in the cold water.

"Where are you come in." He demanded and she refused it.

Laksh pouts, he splashes the water on her and she pouts, "Laksh, you idiot."

"Okay help me out!" He forwarded his hand and Ragini took it, he pulls her in and she was soaked in the water.

Laksh and Ragini spend their time together.
Both come out of the lake, they were walking back home, "Ragini why are you still wearing the chain, I told you to move on."

Ragini looked at him, "yes, you said move on, but it is my decision to wait. I wanted to wait and look here I am still single waiting for you." She went through her neck, feeling the locket around near her skin.

"Laksh you gave it me, don't tell me without any intention." She looked at him and he stopped holding her hand.

"Haan Ragini, but now I want you to move on. Please don't wait for me." He said it, but she didn't liked it.

Ragini cups his face, "Laksh I can't live without you."

Laksh felt bad, he doesn't want her to wait, he doesn't want her to waste her life for him.

He didn't said anything and hold her hand they reached home, a party didn't took place as the main guest was missing.

"Laksh why you left the house with Ragini?" His father scold him, "uncle please don't be angry on him, it was my idea."

He shook his head, "fine. You two will pay for it."

RagLak were confused, "Papa I'm tired and want to sleep."

But his father refused it, "no way, you will do what is needed." He moves aside and the whole mansion was still decorated more than before. They took Ragini, yes the guest were still there, well her parents.

Ragini was happy, they had decided to arranged their wedding, which will take place the next day.

Ragini shows her hands, "Laksh look."

Laksh didn't looked at her, he was angry. You planned it, right.

Ragini stood up, "Laksh please don't think I have done anything like this to trap you."

Laksh shook his head, "you always read my mind. How can I trust you, that you haven't planned it."

Ragini lowers her gaze, holding the chain in her hand, "I swe..."

He placed his palm on her mouth, he shook his head and kisses her forehead.

Laksh left to his room, he remembers another moment of them.

How young they were, Laksh was 15 while she was just 13 years old.

Laksh was looking at her, "you lied to me. I hate you."

Ragini shook her head, her hands were formed into fist, "I would never lie to you."

Laksh didn't looked at her, "you said I'm your best friend, then why didn't you told it your parents, when they asked you?"

Ragini was crying, "because I love you. I swe..."

Laksh placed his palm on her mouth, "my mom once thought me not to swear. You love me?"

Ragini nodded, "more than chocolate."

Laksh shocked he opened his mouth without uttering a word. Ragini come and closed his mouth, giving him a kiss.

The next morning arrived.

The whole arrangement weren't wasted, all was looking beautiful and bright.

They were all happy, seeing them together.

Ragini was so happy, finally a long lost dream come true. She become Mrs. Ragini Lakshya Maheshwari.

Laksh was looking at her, "I love you, I will always love you and I will always be with you."

Ragini smiles, "I love you too, I will always be waiting for you and will never forget you."

She was sleeping peacefully on his chest, when the phone rung. Laksh picked up the phone, he got THE CALL. He was asked to return to his military station.

Without making any noise he kisses her head and left from there, a jeep had come to pick him up. Ragini could feel the emptiness next to her, she stood up and looked around.

No, he is leaving me.

Ragini wrapped herself in the duvet. She took the heavy shawl and placed it as well on herself. She rushed down, tears were rolling down her cheek. Laksh was looking back, he knew it she would come, he waves.

Ragini looked at him, she felt the pain of losing him, but he had said to come back....
