Whoever wants to know about the story the prologue of the story should make you understand and the story itself too.

For the reader of our Baacha it starts right from there, when Laksh is on his bed thinking of his future. I mentioned it in the story.

Laksh was sitting on the bed. Damn it I don't want to be an office worker I want to do something useful, I mean how can it be so good to be working in a company without any fun. Life is so boring, I don't want to check accounts and paper work... 😖 thinking of it gives me a cold shudder.

I will... hmm 🤔.

He sat on the bed and was thinking the pillow in his lap, then he hold the pillow tightly around his chest, tears were skipping down his eyes, there was something, an uneasy feeling. Laksh laid back on the bed, his eyes were staring the ceiling, he turns and tried to sleep, not to think about it again.

Laksh was holding the pillow tightly, he was hiding his face in it and cried silently till his mobile phone rings, he was confused, but there was only one person, who would call him at this time.

Laksh wipes his tears away, without even looking at the caller ID, he knew it would be her.

"Hi Ragini, why you called?" He tried not to show her his pain, but she could read him even miles away.

"Lucky I know you are hurt, I can feel it, tell me what happened?" Ragini said and Laksh shook his head, "no nothing happened." He lies to her and she didn't cared, she knows him better than anyone else.

"Laksh I'm coming!"

Laksh widen his eyes, he sat on the bed, "no Ragini, it's midnight. Uncle and aunty will go crazy if you will be missing in the morning."

She cut the call before he could finish his sentence, "mad girl." He said and laid back on the bed, he closed his eyes to sleep, but he knows she is on the way, nothing and no one could stop her as she is his best friend, the friend of his life.

Laksh went to the washroom, the window of his room was open as usually, Ragini entered the room by the window 😎 the ladder was ready.

"Laksh?" She calls him and he comes out of the washroom looking at her with red eyes and a smile.

"Hi!" He said with a fake smile, she fumes and stamps to him.

"What happened? Who has said something to you and why? Just let me know and I will make them pay for it."

Ragini made a fist, right one to punch anyone who has hurt him.

Laksh shook his head, "no Ragini, no one said anything to me." He went to his bed and sat on it, Ragini frowns at him, "Laksh!" She shouts and Laksh shushes at her, "be quiet, otherwise the others will wake up." He took the pillow and hold it tight.

Ragini took a deep breath, she sat next to him, "then Laksh tell me what had happened to you, why you were crying?" She placed her hand on his shoulder, he looked at her, the eyes again teary.

"I want a hug." He said and Ragini widen her arms for him, "Okay."

Laksh hugs her tightly, she caresses his head and made him lay on her lap, "Laksh shh..." she tries to calm him, but there was the thing disturbing him, he couldn't sleep and sniffs.

Ragini bend down with her head, she lays her head on his head, "Laksh please don't cry, tell me what is bothering you, maybe I can help you." She kisses his ear and he sniffs again, "Ragini why my parents throw me away?" He asked her, but she had no answer why, but she had something to say.

"I don't know and I can't judge them why, all I can say is that I'm happy to have you in my life. You are my source of happiness, whenever you are around me I'm happy. If your parents are alive then then they are surely suffering for loosing a gem like you."

He looked at her, "I will never forgive them. They haven't looked for me. I know I'm a Joker and I love to make others smile, but no one knows my inner feelings how hurt and lonely I am." Laksh wipes his tears away.

Ragini again kisses him, this time his forehead, caressing his head, "I love you and you know somewhere I am happy that they left you or lost you. Because of this I could meet you and fall in love with you. Do you remember our first meeting?"

Laksh looks at her, he smiles genuinely at her, "oh yes, you returned to the city after years. We never met before and then you showed up."

Adarsh 10th birthday party
Sanskaar was seven and Laksh was five years old, they were getting ready for the party.

"Lucky come here, I have to wash you!" Pari shouted, "otherwise you will smell like dirt. You know there will be so many guest. Come na."

Laksh was hiding under the bed, he was still playing with his toys, "I don't want they always taunt at me."

The door opened and Sanskaar comes in, "Lucky where are you?"

"Lucky is dead." He said playing with his GI toy.

"Laksh!" He shouted and he come out, "here I am." He said in fear and went to Pari, "Maa shower."

Pari saved him from Sanskaars scold, "Haan shower, you know old friends of the family returned from abroad. You will surely find a new friend."

Laksh nodded looking at Sanskaar, who was glaring at him in anger.

"If you will talk again about death then I won't talk to you ever again." He left with moisture eyes.

Laksh shook his head, "Kasam Se never again." He felt bad and went to take a shower with the help of Pari.

"My Laksh come, now you are looking like a hero." Pari praised him and he shied.

The party had started and they all were at the garden celebrating the party.

"Hi Sanskaar," a girl come in a pink dress.

Sanskaar didn't gave her a look, he was just too angry, "Don't talk to me Ragini, I'm not in the mood. Laksh has said something I can't forgive him so easily."

Ragini frowned, "what? Who is this?" She asked, she had never met or heard from him before.

"Don't worry I will make sure he won't hurt you ever again." She hugged him.

Adarsh was looking at the mansion, "where are they?"

Ragini run to him, "here I am, happy Birthday Adarsh Bhaiya." She hugged Adarsh, who smiled and hugged her back.

"Ragini you are back, I missed you so much." Adarsh said and she smiled even more, "finally someone missed me."

They broke the hug, Adarsh looked at her, "what you mean?" She told him about the lukewarm greeting of Sanskaar.

DP looked at Laksh, who was coming holding the hand of Pari.

"Laksh come!" He called him and Laksh ran to DP, he was lifted by DP and introduced to Shekhar and Janki.

Ragini heard the name, she glared at him in anger. So he is the one, who hurt my friend, Sanskaar. I won't leave him.

Adarsh smiled looking at them, "finally I can cut my cake."

They all surrounded him, Laksh was still on DP arms.

Shekhar shook his head, "you took him home, you don't know his identity and keeping him?"

Ragini had made a fist, she was just waiting to hit him, but then she heard it and was interested to know more about him. With big eyes she was looking at him. He looks cute and innocent.

Laksh looked at Shekhar, "I'm lucky and you?" He asked Shekhar, who just glared at him.

Janki smiled, "you are a very good boy."

"Thank you Ma'am. Papa put me down."

Papa?! Ragini thought for a moment. How? He only has two children, Adarsh and Sanskaar, how did he come?

"Laksh don't fight with anyone."

Laksh shook his head, "Uncle I'm lucky and you?" He asked again and Shekhar bend down, "what you mean?" He said annoyed.

"I'm lucky to meet you and you?"

Shekhar looked at him, but he didn't said anything as Ragini pulled him away.

"Dad you better keep quiet!"

"Hi I'm Ragini and you are Laksh, right? Why did you hurt my friend?"

Laksh looked at her, "I don't know you or your friend."

Ragini frowned, "Sanskaar, you hurt him." She said a bit angry on him.

Laksh nodded, he went to Sanskaar and hold his ears, "bhai sorry." He was doing ups and down moves keeping his ears hold.

Soooooo cute. Ragini's eyes were shining a new kind of smile had appeared on her face. She took his hand again.

"Will you be my friend?" She forwarded her hand and he shook his head, "no." He ran to Pari and hide there.

"Laksh I told you, you will find a new friend. Why you said no?"

"What if she will leave me?" Laksh said in a whisper tone.

"No, she won't. They shifted back, Ragini will stay here, right."

Ragini went to them, "yes, I will stay here." She wanted to be his friend, but he hesitated.

"I don't know if I like this, my princess always makes new friends, but he is just an orphan."

DP laughed, "He is my angel. AP left and he come to us. It is like a sign."

"Haan a sign, I told you not to say something against him. He is my new friend, right?"

Janki smiled, "hmm good you took him home. It looks like he has won the hearts of everyone."

Shekhar huffed, "not everyone."

RagLak were looking at each other, "Papa wasn't convinced by you. You were just an outsider for him."

Laksh took a deep breath, "na, never."

Ragini looked at him, "you mean the scene at school?" Both were laying on the bed next to each other, looking at each other.

"Yes, remember?"

It was the first school day of Laksh.

"Laksh beta, if you won't go to school you won't archive anything. Don't you want to make me proud?" DP asked him.

"Okay, for you I will attend the school, but they are all judging." Laksh said and SanDarsh were looking at him.

"If anything happens you will come to us! We are there for you, okay." His brothers made it clear to him.

They drove to the school and Laksh was on DP's arms, he didn't wanted to enter the class.

"Hi Laksh!!!!!" He heard his name and saw Shekhar at the door, it was Ragini shouting his name.

"Hello uncle." Laksh said, but Shekhar didn't replied to him.

DP put him down, "Laksh be a good boy and go inside the class. They are all waiting."

DP said to him, but Laksh looked at Shekhar.

"Laksh look the seat next to me is free." Ragini glared at the girl next to her, it was a clear order to stood up, but the girl didn't move, Ragini huffed and hard push of Ragini made the girl laying on the floor.

"See the seat Next to me is free." Ragini said it again and the girl sat on another bench.

Laksh smiled, "looks like I have a seat now." He went to the teacher and looked into the class, "Papa do I have to wear a tie?" He went back to DP, who shook his head, "no, shirt and shorts are ruled, they have to be worn, rest is compulsory."

Laksh nodded again looking at Shekhar, he went to his teacher, "this is not for you."

All were looking at him, he took out a chocolate bar from his pocket, "I will come to you back at the end of the lesson to take it back. You know I can't keep it in my shorts."

They all were frowning at him, "Laksh what are you doing?" DP asked and Laksh turned.

"Papa it's chocolate, it can melt and then the color on my shorts will look like 💩. I can't roam around like this, try to understand."

DP hit his palm on his forehead and there was small smile on Shekhar's face, which was caught by Ragini and Laksh.

"Uncle lucky to meet you again". He said and went to Ragini, who was admiring him even more now.

"You know that was the moment I want to keep you close to me, never let you go." Ragini hold his hand and placed it under her cheek.

Laksh moves closer, "give me a kiss." She smirks, "do you even remember, how you used to ran away from me?"

Laksh hold her tight, "kiss me now." He said with his intense look, Ragini hold his collar and pulls him close. She seals his lips with hers.

They were at the high school and it was the first Valentine's Day in which both were understanding the meaning of Love.

Ragini used to kiss him on his cheek, whenever he was around her, but he never liked it, till the valentine day.

Laksh was 15 years old so was Ragini, well she was a year older, turning to be 16 soon.

"Laksh come na, I want to show you something." Ragini asked him to come closer to her, they were at school campus sitting on the grass and reading their lecture.

"Ragini not yet, I have to read the lecture I'm not getting it."

Ragini pulled him close with one move, he looked at her and gulped, "yes, Ragini." He said in fear.

She smirked, "I want to show you something." She said and he frowned, "what?"

"Love!" She kissed him on his cheek.

*urgh*

"Please Ragini stop it."

But she didn't and kept kissing him on his cheek it went on like this only, till she was moving to his lips, she touched his lips corner and he widen his eyes.

"Ragini what are you doing?"

Ragini looked at him, "I said love don't disturb me." She kissed him again and again and he felt weak as she was coming closer to his lips and sealed them and kept doing it.

"I loved your kisses and I still love them." Laksh said and she hold him closer.

"Come it's sleeping time." Ragini said and made him sleep next to him. Both were holding each other tightly knowing that they can't live without each other.

"Laksh Papa doesn't like it that I love you."

"So you want to break up with me?"

Ragini shook her head, "no way." She hold his hand and kissed his lips, "I have to go now, but I will come soon."

Laksh nodded, "okay bye bye."

Ragini left, she went home and got the shock.

"What, no Papa you can't sent me away. I promised Laksh to stay with him." Ragini shouted and her father shook his head, "it's about your future. You are wasting your potential on him."

Ragini pushed her father, "I'm wasting nothing. He is my life."

Thaadh!

"You pushed me, for him!" Shekhar scold her and locked her in her room.

Ragini was crying bitterly. My push wasn't that hard, but his slap was. I hate him.

Ragini opened the window of her room, she climbed down as usually, she ran away into Laksh arms.

There was a knock on his window.

Laksh opened the window, "Ragini you?"

Ragini glared at him, "it's cold let me in!" She shouted and Laksh pulled her inside his room.

"Ragini what are you doing here at this time?" He checked the time on his watch.

"Is everything fine?"

Ragini shook her head, "no, nothing is fine." She told him about her fight with Shekhar.

Laksh kept her close, he made her rest on the bed and covered her with the duvet, "sleep here. I will sleep on the ground or couch."

Ragini refused it, she hold him close.

There was a knock on his door, he went to the door, "yes?"

DP was looking at him, "Laksh you were sleeping?"

Laksh nodded, "yes Papa, I was sleeping, what happened why are you looking so tensed."

DP explained him, "Ragini has run away, Shekhar is asking if she is with you. But as you were sleeping I guess she wasn't. We have to inform the police."

DP left and Laksh felt bad, he shook Ragini and she opened her eyes.

"Laksh what happened?"

Laksh told her about the police case and she feared, "no, I don't want this." She hold her temple, "nothing is working the way it should."

Laksh shook his head, he hold her hand, "come let's go down. Papa will drop you."

Ragini nodded and they went downstairs, but no one was at home.

They looked at each other and went to out, they took a taxi and drove to Kapoor mansion. Ragini was sleeping deeply on Laksh lap, he too was tired, but couldn't fall asleep for her.

The taxi driver stopped in front of the gate, "we arrived." The man said and Laksh nodded, he checked his pocket, but he didn't had money.

"I will get the money, you wait here."

The man shook his head, "no way, then you will runaway, the girl will stay she is sleeping. You go inside and get the money."

Laksh glared at him, "Ragini get up!" He shouted and Ragini jerked.

"Laksh what happened?"

Laksh sent her inside the mansion and stayed in the taxi.

"Ragini!" Janki rushed to him, "where were you?" She kissed her cheek and hold her tight.

They all rushed to her, "I was with Laksh, he convinced me to come back home."

"Where is he?" Shekhar asked in rage, he had made a fist.

"In the taxi, the driver asked for money." Ragini told them and Shekhar run out with DP.

Both packed him out of the taxi, Shekhar paid the taxi driver, then he glared to Laksh, "idiot! You could have waited outside of the car, there was no need to stay in it, you are tried and sleepy he could drive away with you."

Laksh shrugged, "didn't thought of it." He said yawing at them.

DP wanted to lift him, but his baby had grown to an adult, "I couldn't let Ragini stay in the cab, better me than her."

Thaadh

Shekhar slapped him, "then you would never be able to hear from me."

Laksh hold his cheek, "hear? My ears a ringing because of your slap."

DP shook his head, "idiot, you can't risk your life like this." They went inside the house and Ragini was sleeping on her mother's lap.

Laksh smiled looking at her, "I forgot the money. But don't worry when I will finish my education I will come back with a ring only for her. You can sent her away it's okay for her betterment. But we both know, she will only love me."

Shekhar knew it more than only one else, "that is the reason why I don't like you. You are stealing my girl from me."

Laksh smiled, "nice to meet you father-in-law. I brought your girl back." He winked and Shekhar shook his head, "I can't win. That is disturbing me the most."

"No need to win, we both love her, we can share the love." Laksh falls asleep on his brothers lap.

Adarsh lifted him, he carried him over his shoulder.

"Bhai don't fart." Laksh said and Adarsh shook his head.

"Idiot, why would I, by the way same to you."

"And you want him to be our son-in-law."

Laksh opened his eyelid, "Oh no Maa, you shouldn't heard it." He said in his sleepy tone and Sanskaar suppressed his laugh.

They were in the car, "oh I didn't do it." Laksh said and they rolled down the windows.

"Uff!"

It was the next morning Laksh woke up with Ragini, he caresses her head and kisses her forehead. I will become someone, who will never stop loving and making others happy. There are plenty of orphans and they need a family like I did. If they hadn't took me in then who knows what would be with me.

Laksh stood up, he went to the wardrobe and pulled the cupboard, he took out a small package. Guess it's time to ask for her hand.

Laksh shakes her, "wake up, I have a surprise for you."

Ragini opens her eyes, "what?" She asks in excitement.

"We are going to your place, now. Because I have to ask for something."

Ragini's eyes widen a smile on her face makes it clear, she was the happiest person on earth.

Ragini opens the cupboard, "Laksh this or this dress?" She shows two different dresses as she was having her own space in his wardrobe.

"Whatever you look beautiful."

Ragini smiled and for a white dress.

They went to Kapoor mansion and everything took place.

A beautiful wedding and a beautiful journey of parenthood had completed them.
