Fast 2nd part.

Ragini was now living at her parents place she was living her life on her own she doesn't need a man like Laksh who has no guts to accept what he had done to her.

Ragini was at her office a few of her staff members were bad mouthing her. As they think Laksh is telling the true.

Ragini didn't care she was living with a lifted head. Soon the time passed n the other's kept their mouth shut.

Ragini was in her 4th month. She was working hard as she wants to show who she is. There is no man needed to be successful well at least not if the man who taught her so much has to suffer now.

Laksh was feeling his project but when he applied for it the project was given to someone else. "Hi Mr. Kapoor. I applied for the project but I got the notification that the project is out of the market how is that possible?".

Mr. Kapoor on the phone explains him. "Laksh ur work was gud like always but the work of ur wife was better n she was faster. As soon as the project was online her project come n wow it was perfectly made. We made a quick decision n selected her!".

Laksh couldn't believe it. "Thank U!". He cut the call in anger. He fumes making a fist. Wha the hell she beats me in my own field. How?!.

Ragini was sitting on her desk smirking devilish. She remembers the time when Laksh checked on her files.

Laksh was sitting on the bed holding the file of Ragini.

Ragini pouts. "U always do the work but y don't u teach me how u decides what to change n what to keep?".

Laksh looked at her. "Arrey Ragini it's not just changing the terms but also the thought!".

Ragini frowns. "Thoughts? What u mean by thoughts?".

Laksh shook his head. "I mean to say u have to be always two stepped ahead ur competitor. Like u work on the project of zxx n u gave a term of 2 Lahks y?".

Ragini thought. "Laksh because the amount is right n will cover our cost!".

Laksh shook his head. "No Ragini, to cover our cost we just need 1 lahk. But with 2 lahks we r also having a win in profit. Mr. Chauhan always give a price of 3 lahks I always keep the amount under his 😁😉!".

Ragini claps. "Wah Laksh! Too gud. U smarty!".

Laksh smiles. "Ya I'm smart!".

She laughs to herself. Laksh u showed me how to deal with business projects now I beat u in ur own game. What do u have to say?!.

Laksh throws his phone away. "Damn it!". He was fuming in anger this was the 2nd deal Ragini took away right under his nose.

Ragini was flying high in success the annual function was coming. They were going to announce the best Business man or woman.

Laksh was nominated but Ragini too.

The function was held in a big hotel like the one of the wedding they once attend.

Ragini enters the venue. She wasn't hiding neither was she covering anything. She made her own place. She handling everything with pride her gaze fall on Laksh who wasn't looking at her as he was looking at his mobile phone.

Ragini smirks. Another shock?. Tztztz I have brought some of ur shares. Soon ur company will be mine too!.

Laksh was smiling. Impressive the student become the master. Well what to say abt a cheater. She can only stab from the back. I have never imagined she would betray me but she did. I trusted her n she broke it.

He was holding the mobile tight in his hands. He felt the present of someone he lifts his head there he saw her. Holding her belly protectively.

A smile has formed on his lips. A pregnancy suits her... there is a glow. Wish it would be mine... Hey Laksh what r u saying? Y u want it to be urs? U wanted divorce from the starting but she made her own plan!.

He turns his face n was walking into the hall. Ragini was behind him. Unknowingly that Laksh was the man in front of her she passed by.... she wasn't looking carefully n slips. Two very strong arms were holding her protectively.

Ragini has closed her eyes n clutched her hands around the one who was holding her.

Laksh made her stand properly. "Uhm u r save now!". She opens her eyes n saw him. He lefts without giving her a last gaze.

Ragini was breathing fast the shock hasn't left her. She was walking slowly n carefully the way into the big hall.

All took their seats n the announcement starts.

Ragini's hand was resting on her belly. Today ur father has saved u. At least one thing he did gud is to create u!. My Baacha mama will love u a lot there won't be a lack of love for u!.

She was caressing the belly, while two pair of eyes were watching her. Laksh looked at his hands. Strange y do I felt so connected with the growing one inside her?.

Laksh shook his head. He took a drink as the names were announced but these were just the nominees the winner is...

Another smile on Laksh face...

They all clapped

Ragini went to the stage. "There is a slightly difference it's not Ragini Lakshya Maheshwari. It's just Ragini Gadodia. Thank U!". She took the award n went back to her seat.

Laksh felt a pain in his heart. As if someone has ripped it out n jumped on it several times.

The afterparty was going on all were praising Ragini n wishing her success for the future. Laksh was sitting on the bar taking one shot.

The barkeeper looked at him. "Sir here!".

Laksh took it. "Thanks!". He paid for the drink n turns with the barstool. There she was dancing with another man. Laksh drunk in one sip. He hits the glass on the table. "One more!".

The barkeeper keeps filling his glass. After the 5th shot he looked at her... his head was spinning... a flash was coming into his mind.

Laksh please stop drinking let's go home.

Laksh looked. "No Ragini. I won't go anywhere!".

Ragini hold him as a support. "Y?".

Laksh looked at. "U like dancing?".

Ragini nods. "Haan I do! Y?".

Laksh pouts. "Y u dance with him n not me?".

Ragini smiles. "He asked me I couldn't deny. But next I will dance with U! Promise!".

Laksh nods. "Haan cute smile!".

He lands on the bed with her.

Loving her the night...

Laksh looked at her then to the belly. It's my child, she didn't betray me she was always faithful!. What I did?.

Laksh stood up n falls on his front. All looked at him. But he stood up again. "Lost the balance all okay!". He shook his head. His fingertip were on his nose between the eyes. Think Laksh think!.

He stood up n went to the washroom n cleaned his face. Ragini somewhere felt bad but then she just forget the thought to help him.

Laksh come out of the washroom. He was looking better still in a drunken state he lurches the way to Ragini.

He bend down on his knees. "Ragini Gadodia... no no u r still Ragini Lakshya Maheshwari. The mother of my Child. I'm sorry that I couldn't remember it!". He folded his hands in front of her. "I know a simple Sorry is not enough for the humiliation u went through!". He moves a bit nervously. "I will rub my nose in front of ur feet's. For calling u characterless n a cheater!". He was bending down with his head but was stopped by Ragini.

"Laksh!". She left the venue.
"Ragini! Phele maaf to kardo {forgive me first}!". He stood up n runs behind her. "Ragini!".

Ragini stopped but she doesn't wanted to be with again. "Laksh our relationship was based on a contract. U! Urself declared that this is not ur child! There is no connection between u n me. U r free of this fake marriage soon!".

Laksh shook his head. He hold her hand. "It's okay u r angry with me I do understand I won't force u. But the baby needs a papa too. I want to be the papa!".

Ragini shook her head. She took her hand back. "I know y u r doing this. U r jealous because I have archived without u more than with U!".

Laksh shook his head. "Arrey Ragini u want na then u can archive even more than what u already archived... but please give me a last chance?". He was pleading n tears were rolling down his cheeks.

Ragini turns her face. She was holding her tears back. "My answer is NO!". She opens the car door n was abt to sit.

Laksh hold her hand n again bend down. "U have to come home for the sake of our parents!". Ragini shook her head. "Laksh leave my hand!". Laksh didn't loses the grip Ragini took out the mobile phone n made a call.

Laksh was confused but he didn't care. Soon the police arrived. They arrested Laksh n put him in jail.

To his surprised Janki n Shekhar come with AP n DP. They got to know what Laksh was ready to do... just to get her back. Laksh was sleeping in the cell on the hard bed. They opens the door n released him.

Laksh thanked them n against asked for sorry.

Back at MM

Ragini was sitting on the couch. She come on the request of their parents. Laksh was happy he rushed to her but was stopped by her palm.

"Mr. Maheshwari stay there!".

Laksh stopped at the entrance he saw that his luggage's were packed n placed near the door.

"I have comeback but not for u. But for our parents. U won't stay here, while I'm staying. Bcz I don't want to see ur roaming around me!"

Laksh was biting on his nail.

"U will not stay near me. I don't want to see ur face! Did u got it!".

He nods he took his luggage n went to the garden there he builds his tent.

Ragini fumes. "I told u he won't leave!".

AP come to her. "But Ragini his isn't in the house he is just in the garden! He won't come in front of u. That is my promise!".

Ragini shook her head. "I know him he won't regret anything...!". Ragini went to the bedroom of them. She lied on the bed n cried for the moment.

Laksh I would never let u fall that low! How could u think that rubbing ur nose will be the best way to apologise?. Ur respect is mine too, right? Then?!.

She falls asleep while Laksh enters their room. He gulps n tried to be as noiseless as possible. He opens the cupboard n took out his clothes n saw her almost falling from the bed. He hold her on time n placed her correctly on the bed placing a pillow on each side of her to protect the unborn. He places his hand on her belly. "I'm sorry!". He kisses her belly n left.

A few day passed n Laksh has installed spy cameras in the bedroom to keep an eye on her and the baby. He also hired 3 assistant for her. Any wish of hers should be fulfilled within 5 min of her order.

Ragini was sitting on the couch Laksh come home earlier the day. He removes his tie n starts to shout. "Maa!"

Ragini stood up n Laksh turns. Shit...

He didn't looked at her n moves to the garden showing her his back. He was in his tent.

Ragini fumes. "Idiot!".

Laksh fumes. Calling me idiot huh? Who is the real idiot! U Mrs. Ragini Lakshya Maheshwari. Weeks have passed but u haven't learnt to sleep on the bed. Every nights it's me who comes n saves u for falling! It's me who protects the child. Not U!.

"Maa!!!"

Ragini stamps with her feet's.

Laksh opens his notebook to see his fuming angry wife. She was walking here n there n anger with fists. She was talking to herself.

"This idiot man doesn't he can't stay away? I hate him my love for him died the moment he called me characterless. He declared my child to be illegitimate. He called me unfaithful. He had broken my heart n thrown me out!".

She was crying... Laksh too was crying he did everything not to come in front of her. Only in nights he come to talk to the baby.

"Hi Baacha.. uhm ur mama calls u only Baacha so I guess we don't want to know ur gender. It's okay we will be surprised. U na don't hurt ur mama... I mean on delivery time come fast less pain. She already suffered a lot. Btw if u will be a boy then I will play with U all the ball games. But if u r a girl.. I will play tea parties or even fairytale parties as princess... okay now papa is going have a gud night". He kisses his palm n places it on her belly.

He left the room. Each night he come to see her growing belly. Each day he was taking full care of her wishes n desires being in the back.

Ragini has an appointment here regular check up. Laksh always followed her. She was taking the appointment when she thought that someone is following her. She turns but couldn't see anyone.

Laksh saw her leaving he enters the cabin of the doctor n always talk to her to know abt her health n the baby's health.

One fine day Laksh come very late the next day!

Ragini was sitting on the couch. She couldn't sleep she felt restless.

Laksh enters the house on his tiptoes talking to himself. "Laksh Beta u r death. How could u...!".

Ragini stood up n looked at him. Something made her run to him n hug him.

Laksh was surprised. "Rrrrrrrr... Ragini!". He removes her hands n turns. "Sorry wait I will leave but can u use the washroom. Please?".

Ragini moves backwards. "Go!". She turns her face away from him. He come out n saw her still standing there.

He looked out into the garden. "I'm going u don't worry!".

Ragini shook her head. "Laksh don't go now!".

Laksh nods. She went to him n hold his hand. She pulls him up to the room. "I don't know y! But the baby is attached to U! I couldn't sleep the night! It felt like something was missing... I felt restless n come down to meet u. But u weren't there. I couldn't sleep n stayed awake now u will leave the room only then when I will sleep tight!".

Laksh nods. Both went into the room n she was lying on the bed. Still she couldn't sleep. She turns to him. He was sitting on the ground back facing her.

Ragini tips on his shoulder. "Laksh I can't sleep. Do something!". She said a bit angry.

Laksh stood up. "Okay?". He gulps but sat on the bed next to her. He placed the pillow on his lap n asked her to sleep on his lap.

Ragini first denies but the Baacha wanted it...

Ragini rolls with her eyes n rolls on his lap with her body. She was resting her head on his lap. But she couldn't sleep either. "Laksh I can't sleep!".

Laksh hand shakes but still he places his hand on her head n stroke her head. She smiles. Soon she fall asleep. Laksh made her lie on the bed n placed the pillows as her protection.

Laksh bend down to the belly. "My little devil! Can't sleep without my talks. Sorry okay won't happen again!". He hold his ears n kisses her belly.

He leaves the room n she opens her eye... so that is the problem. Badmaash Baacha {mischief child}.

She soon dozed off....

In the afternoon

"LAKSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

Laksh who finally found his sleep woke up in scare. He runs into the house. "Ragini!!!!". He rushed up. "Ragini!!!".

She was sitting on the bed looking into a magazine.

Laksh was breathing heavily he was hell scared. "Ragini what happen?". He come to her.

Ragini looked up. "Laksh I want watermelon go get me one!".

Laksh looked at her numb. "What? Watermelon? Now?".

Ragini looked at him. "No tomorrow! Of course now! Go!!!".

Laksh nods he went to the market n bought the watermelon. He comes back home n was serving her the watermelon.

Ragini spit it out. "Yuck baby doesn't like it! I want Apple!".

Laksh nods. He went down n cuts an apple into small pieces.

Ragini 😖 "sour" she pushes the plate away.

Laksh stood up. "Sorry...!".

Ragini looked at him in anger. "Laksh orange!".

Laksh nods n rushed down. Uff now orange no wait I will.. Haan!.

He comes back with filled hand.

Ragini looked at his hands...

Laksh was happy she liked it. He placed the plate in front of her. She starts to eat the fruits.

In the evening

"Laaaaaaaksh!!!!!"

Laksh who tried to sleep come to her. His eyes were red...

"Haan Ragini... ur wish!".

Ragini smiles. "Me feet's r hurting...!"

She lies down on the bed wiggling with her feet's.

Laksh sat on the ground. He placed his hands on her feet's n starts to massage her.

Ragini smiles. "Uhmmmm nice... oh... aaahhh!".

She widen her eyes. "Enough!".

She was red faced. Laksh didn't understand it. But he stood up. "Can I sleep now?". He asked n Ragini nods.

Laksh was turning to the door n closed it.

Ragini looked at him. "What r u doing?".

Laksh looked at her...

He took a pillow n lied on the ground n sleeps in the same room.

Ragini looked at him. She fall asleep in minutes...

This was happening daily. She was commanding him n he was following her orders. Those 3 assistants he had hired were now free to go.

Ragini was in the washroom. "Oh I'm not able to get up of the tube! Laaaksh!!!".

Laksh come to her. He searched for her in the room but she wasn't there. "Ragini where r u?".

Ragini looked at herself. "Washroom close ur eyes n help me out the belly isn't letting me!".

Laksh took a deep breath. "Okay Ragini u don't worry I'm coming!". He took the towel n enters the washroom with closed eyes. "Ragini I'm coming just spread ur hand out".

Ragini saw just his back. He walks backwards to her she held her hand up n Laksh hold it. With one strong pull he lifts her n wrapped her in the towel. His eyes remained close. He left the washroom immediately.

Ragini was left open mouth. She sat on the tube edge. "Laksh!!!".

Laksh heard her shout. "Haan Ragini?".

Ragini was exhausted. "Carry me out!".

Laksh opens the door. "Okay..!". He enters the washroom n cleans the surface. He lifts her n carefully placed her on the bed.

Ragini looked at the bed. She hits her forehead. "Laksh get me my clothes!".

Laksh nods. He went to the cupboard n took out the necessary clothes. Ragini saw the bra n starts to cry...

"Laksh 😢 I don't fit in it... 😭 my breast r growing like my belly!".

Laksh tried to console her. "Sorry Ragini wait I will come with the right one...!"

He checked the cupboard for maternity wear. He comes back n helped her wearing it.

Ragini looked at him exhausted. "Carry me downstairs!".

Laksh lifts her she was in the final month the delivery could happen anytime but the doctor also told them not to stress her.

Laksh was sleeping everyday on the floor he got used to it. He carries her everywhere she wants to go! He prepares all the food she wants to eat. He buys her everything she demands to have. Ragini was slowly falling again in love with him.

Laksh has started to love the day when she left. As he had got to use of her. But his ego never let him accept it...

He was thinking of the past when he had thrown her out.

"Ragini there is no place for a cheater in my house Get Out!".

Ragini was broken she left without defending herself.

The days passed n Laksh come home late. "Ragini I'm hungry please serve me I will also check ur files...?"

He hits his head with his palm. She was gone he had thrown her out.

Another incident. Laksh was taking a shower n forgot the towel. "Ragini towel n Haan don't look. I know u watched me last time, checking me out huh dirty minded woman!".

Again he shook his head. She was gone!

Laksh turns toward the bed. Ragini was looking at him. "Can't u sleep?".

Laksh shook his head. "No, I can't sleep!".

Ragini moves closer. "Y?".

Laksh moves closer. "I made a mistake once..."

Ragini looked at him. "Which?".

Laksh lowered his gaze. "Wohi ek khata tumhare upper ilzaam lagke ke tumne mujhe dhook diya {the one mistake blaming u being unfaithful}".

Ragini wipes her tears away. "Now u trust me?".

Laksh goes near her. "Haan I trusted u the moment u said it's mine. But my ego didn't let me! I'm sorry!".

"Aaaahhhh!!!"

Laksh frighten "Ragini!!!"

He lifts her n rushed to the car with her. He start to drive her to the hospital. "Ragini please don't worry we r almost there!". He was consoling her...

Soon they arrived at the hospital. She was in the OT alone.

The Doc checked at her."Do u want me to call ur husband in? He did all the courses alone!".

Ragini has tears in her eyes. "When he found the time... I was commanding him all the time!".

The doc smiles. "When u want something then u found the time. Shall I?".

Ragini nods n Laksh come in holding her hand doing the breath control with her...

Soon they heard a cry....

Laksh looked at Ragini. "Ragini it's a boy.... u have a name?".

Ragini nods. "His name is...? Do u have thought of a name?".

Laksh nods. "I thought of one. Raqeeb!"

Ragini shook her head. "No!"

Laksh pouts. "What's wrong with it???"

Ragini thought. "Laksh..!"

Laksh looked at her confused. "U want to call the baby Laksh...?!.

Ragini hits him. "Just give me my baby!".

Laksh took him in his embrace ... "ohhh Raksh!"

Ragini smiles. "Haan fine! Was my decided name too!".

Laksh looked at her suspiciously. "Haan that was ur name..." he rolls his eyes.

🌸 Epilogue 🌸

Laksh was sleeping on the bed... Haan the bed.... but the bed wasn't his bed ....

Ragini was sleeping on her own bed... king size bed but she's kicked out of the bed...

Ragini hold her back she took a pillow but then placed it back on the bed. To protect him. As HE LOVES TO ROLL N KICK!

Ragini looked Laksh???? Where is he?

She hears the sound of snoring... she went to Raksh room he was sleeping on the car bed of their 5 years old son.

Ragini smiles she lies over him n kisses his neck...

"Ragini u remember I asked for 2nd child?"

Ragini nods. "U scared?"

Laksh turns n hold her. "Woh ek khata kaafi hai {that one mistake is enough}!".

Both laughs n Raksh was celebrating his victory. "My bed!"

They heard him but didn't react as they were too tired...
