A girl is sitting alone on the bench, she is crying the time was difficult for her, she wasn't alone a boy was sitting next to her.

"Don't cry, here." He gave her a hanky, it was his own which had his initials, *LM*.

"Ragini Shh I'm there for you. Here please, wipe off your tears I can't see you crying."

The girl looked at him, red eyes and a running nose, "Laksh, my parents just died. How can you say that?" She sniffs loudly and wipes her tears with her sleeve.

"I didn't meant that, come Ragini you will stay with me and my parents." He hold her hand, slowly he intertwined it with his fingers.

Ragini sobs, "I know uncle and aunty will help me, we are family friends."

Laksh shook his head, looking at his stern face expression Ragini got confused as well as scared.

"They aren't?" She asked him and he smiles, "they are more than just family friends. Ragini we are family."

Ragini smiles, she nods her head and hold his hand even tighter, "right. You are my family."

AP and DP came with their elder sons, Adarsh and Sanskaar.

"Ragini," AP cups her face, "we just completed the last rites of the funeral of your parents. Now you will come with us. We will look after you."

Laksh pulls her close, she was out of the clutch of AP, "see family." He kisses her cheek and she blushes by his act.

Adarsh and Sanskaar laughed, "haasi toh phasi {smile and get snared}."

Ragini fumes, "I don't like you." She said to them and DP took her, "but you like me?"

Ragini nodded, "haan Uncle. I like you." She was very calm and cute, just 9 years old and lost her parents, "we are your caretakers, now you will stay with us and we will look after you."

Laksh was happy having Ragini around him all the time, they are best friends, but Ragini is having high ambitions.

"Uncle now I'm 18 years old, I would like to continue my education abroad."

Laksh felt bad, "what why abroad? Don't you think the universities of India are equally good than those of other countries?"

Ragini glares at him, "fine, then let me explained it in words you understand. I want to study abroad to stay away from you, cause you are disturbing me."

*Hahahah!* Adarsh and Sanskaar were laughing like mad, "Lucky you have no chances, she will never be yours."

Laksh smirks, "one day she will, after all I'm her family."

Ragini rolls her eyes, "oh please, they are all my family."

"Ouch!" His brothers said to tease him more.

"So sad Deevar ji, but Ragini is independent. She won't fall for your cheap trick."

"Thank you Pari Bhabhi." Ragini smiles and pinches on Laksh cheek.

"Fine, go, but don't worry I will be waiting for you." He winks and they clapped, "last and major point goes to Laksh!"
