Recap: Chakor is a very shy and calm girl. Suraj come, who is the brother of Ragini.

Suraj looked at her, "what happened Ragini? Are you looking for someone special? I mean your boyfriend is here with us or isn't he your boyfriend?"

Ragini pouts, "bhai of course he is, Chagan this is my elder brother Suraj."

Chagan forwarded his hand, "Good afternoon." He was scared and nervous at the same time.

Suraj smiles, "what did she told you about me? That I will kill you or go mad over you?"

Chagan moves backwards, but Suraj was still holding his hand, "relax! I'm okay with it, as long as you won't hurt her. Because if you hurt, I will definitely hurt you!" He gave him a warning and left from there.

Ragini was pretty sure it was Chakor, who told Suraj, where to find her.

Suraj glares at her, "don't you dare to do anything, you are publicly insulting and punishing him. It wasn't hard to find you."

Ragini pouts and nodded to him, "by the way Chagan is my fiancé. Look!" She shows him the ring he had gifted her.

Suraj blinks his eyes, "what? Ragini you are in the second year of studies, how can you think of marriage?"

Chagan looked at her, "Ragini what now?" He was whispering into her ear.

Ragini scared, she shook her head in confusion just then Chakor come, "Hi you two, I mean you three!"

Suraj looked at her, "you tell me, what you think about marriage in her age. Isn't she too young for it?"

Chakor was numb, she knew about the ring, but they never talked about a wedding or anything related to it.

"Well first of all I think it's their decision, we are not the one to judge. If they feel or are the meaning they are capable to handle marriage and studies under one roof then they can do what they want. As long as it doesn't effect their dreams, right?"

Suraj shook his head, "have you lost your mind. No means No! You will end your studies and then only I will make the wedding happen as long as it takes you will remain as fiancé's you understand!" He warns them and Chakor didn't liked it.

"Bhai you are not against us, just against the marriage topic. We will end our studies first and then we will get married, you will help me convincing mom and dad, right?"

Chakor smiles. Got it girl, smart indirectly you got your brother's support for the next step, convincing your parents isn't a piece of cake.

Suraj nods, "haan I will help you, but studies comes first."

Both nods and agrees to him.

Time was passing by, Suraj has made a name in college, but he wasn't much interested in anything else than his studies.

Imli and Naina tried a lot to convince him for a date or anything like this, but he always refused it.

Chakor was the only one, who didn't bother him neither she asked him unnecessary questions, she was sitting on the bench of the football field, the stadium wasn't filled.

Suraj come and sat next to her, "nice drawing."

Chakor frightens, "Gosh you scared me."

Suraj smiles, "I'm like a spy. 😎 No one can see me or hear me."

Chakor laughs, *Hahaha* "you are funny."

Suraj frowns, "oh really, again nice drawing."

Chakor looked at her sketchbook, "this?"

Suraj nods, "haan this one, reminds me on you."

Chakor glares at him, "means?"

"Shy and restrained, but happy."

Chakor laughs, "and that is you. Always shining and laughing. No fear."

Suraj nods, "fine, I accept it." He smiles looking at her, "why are you here?"

Suraj scratches his back head, "too much. You caught me."

Chakor nods, "yeah too kind and too much of showing interest on me."

Suraj nods taking a deep breath, "actually I need a date for the Prom night. You are the only one I could ask, please."

Chakor was numb, "what you are asking me to be your date?"

Suraj shook his head, "no not like that, you are my friend and I need an alibi date or else this plastic girls won't leave me, they are continuously asking me with whom I'm going. I said your name." He looked at her, with pleading 🥺 eyes.

Chakor thought for a moment, "what will I gain from it?"

Suraj nods, "a good question, how is it. I will help you getting rid off the plastic girls one for all. Being my date means they all will...?"

"Attack me more." She said and Suraj nods, "maybe not, I mean they would keep the distance. Arrey yaar please help me out of this misery. Please!"

Chakor nods to his surprise, "okay I will help you, I don't care about them, but you are Ragini's brother and therefore I care for you. I will be ready, you just tell me the time."

Suraj stood up, "wonderful, thank you."

A few weeks later the Prom night come

Chakor was waiting for him to pick up her. How much time a man takes to come and pick up a woman. Usually it is the woman, who takes extra time to come down as she has to adjust here and there something. But I'm ready wearing my new dress, Mom bought me.

The door bell rings and Kasturi saw Chakor sitting there completely lost in her thoughts, "this girl is good for nothing." She opens the door and Suraj stood there, "good evening aunty. I'm Suraj Rajvanshi, Chakor's date for tonight and I will drop her on time as I don't want to stay there any longer than needed." He said looking at a lost Chakor, "aunty what's wrong with her?"

Kasturi shook her head, "I have no idea, you sit next to her and I will take a picture of you two."

Suraj nods, "okay aunty as your wish." He sat next to her and tips her with his elbow, she comes out off her trance and saw him, "smile!" Kasturi shouts.

Both smiled 👆, and Kasturi took the picture.

Suraj drove her to the Prom, the drive was silent as both didn't talked much, she is here to help a friend in need.

Uff this will be a long yet boring night, I guess we have nothing in common besides loving Ragini. Suraj is nice, but he has nothing than studies. He never goes out or does any activities. Oh no alibi means he is gay?

Chakor looked at him with the corner of her eye, Suraj was driving the car carefully to the college, "we reached, come."

Chakor nods, she opens the door of the car side and stood off it, "wait Chakor." He rushed to her side and gave her his hand for support.

They come into the big auditorium, where the function was taking place, "you know Suraj all is fine."

Suraj nods, "haan yaar I thought it would be more like the party type, but it's pretty cool. Fast music and many professors to keep an eye on us, great." He was happy, "do you want something?"

Chakor shook her head and he left her alone, he went to the table with the drinks and filled a glass.

Oh no is he a gay or I'm just overthinking?

She was nervous and feeling uncomfortable, just then she was rammed by someone from the back, "Hey!" She shouts and the person checked her out.

"Nice girl, who are you?" He asked and Chakor jerked back, she hits with the chest of Suraj.

"Oh Karan go and look at your date, don't hit on mine. Let's go Chakor." He took her hand and was dancing with her, in one hold he was still holding the glass.

Chakor smiles, a light blush was on her cheeks, "Suraj, you are not a gay, right?"

He split it out and looked at her, "no, I'm not." He was really shocked looking at her.

"Sorry!" She felt bad, but he didn't mind it much.

Hmm maybe I keep a huge distance with the others and the fact I don't date women could also be a reason, why she thought I'm a gay. Oh no maybe I should date more or else the other's might think it too. Oh no does they already think the same?

The Prom was over and he drove her home, "Chakor I told your mother to drop to your house. I will come with you."

Chakor nods, "okay come." They went to her place and she opens the door.

"Thank you Suraj and I'm sorry for the topic."

Suraj shook his head, "no all fine. I guess it's my problem."

Chakor laughs, "no it's okay, I shouldn't have said it."

Suraj hold her hand, "no no, please it was good to tell me, because now I have an imagination what the other's might think of me."

Chakor smiles and bid him bye.

It was Suraj final month, he kept the distance. He didn't met anyone neither was he interested on dates, he remains the same.

Ragini was happy with Chagan, but Chakor felt like the fifth wheel. She tried her best, but it was really hard for her. She left them alone.

Suraj had completed his studies and was about to leave, he got an admission for Harvard.

Chakor was looking at him, "wow congratulations, this is amazing."

Suraj was happy, "yeah and I'm taking Ragini with me. I don't want her to stay here alone any longer. I know she is in a relationship with Chagan, but they have to wait."

Chakor nods, "haan I know. You don't like their closeness, right?"

Suraj looked at her, "here."

Chakor looked on his hand, "what's that?"

Suraj pulls her close, "yes, I don't like their closeness. But I like yours, contact me whenever you have time or move on."

Chakor smiles, "Suraj we are friends, there is nothing to worry about it."

Suraj loses the grip, "yeah right."

He left with Ragini...

Years have passed, there were no contact between anyone, not even Chakor and Ragini.

Chagan was looking at them, "we are returning to India correct?"

Suraj nods, "yes, I have completed my studies, now I'm a neurosurgeon."

Ragini was cuddling him, "I'm so happy you come here to spent your time with me."

Suraj glares at them, "very funny. He come to marry you on your order/request."

Chagan nods, "yeah. Ghar jamai bana diya!"

Ragini looked at him with a stern look, "pack the bags."

Changan nods and left from there.

Suraj laughs, "you and your orders. I can't believe it, he come for you and stayed here."

Ragini smiles, "you have never loved and that is the problem why you can't understand it."

Suraj nods, "haan that is true."

Ragini left and he took out his mobile phone looking into his gallery. Why Chakor aren't you answering me? What I have done? Didn't you had the same feelings for me?

Hmm wanna know what had happened? Before he met her the last time.

Suraj went to see her, "Hey Chakor, can we talk?"

Chakor turned and smiled at him, "sure what is it?"

Suraj took her hand, he pulled her close, "I want to ask you for a real date, before leaving."

Chakor widen her eyes, "what, why?"

Suraj smiled, "I like you and you are the only one I can stand, the other's are so gluing and irritating me."

Chakor frowned, "so just another alibi?"

Suraj shook his head, "No, I really mean it. I like you."

Why you cut the contact with me?

They were on their return, the plane landed and Suraj was coming out of the plane. He was looking at his back, seeing his sister with her husband was making him happy.

"Ouch!"

He stopped and apologised to the one, "I'm so sorry I didn't saw you... Chakor!"

Chakor was jumping on one feet, "aha this hurts." She looked at him with a smile, "hi!"

Suraj was confused, "you here! How and why?"

"Maa!" They all looked at the child, "someone dropped my ice cream!"

"Oh you moved on?" He asked her and the child runaway to his mother.

"Oh you didn't moved on."

"Arrey yaar come Maami is waiting!" A little boy pulled him.

"Oh you have moved on." She said hearing the boy.

"Maamu come on." He pulls him, but Suraj stopped him.

"Praksh stop it, just look." He points on Chakor.

He widen his eyes in shock, "she is here. Maa Papa, she is here!" He shouts and all turned to them.

Chakor felt embarrassed, she wasn't alone, "Maa why is he shouting?"

Suraj didn't react, Chakor turned to the boy, "Raj he is shouting because he recognised me. Come meet your cousin brother and your father."

Suraj looked at her, he was numb, "what?"

Chakor looked at him, "I got to know about it after you left and I didn't wanted to ruin your study. After all I knew what you thought about marriage and love at that time."

Ragini come and hugs her tightly, "you could have contacted me. I could have handled it."

Chakor smiles, "I know, but..."

"But you stolen 9 years of my child and mine relationship." He was angry at her.

Chakor lowers her gaze, "Suraj I never wanted to be a burden on you. I took the decision for me and him. You took your own decision for leaving me and studying in abroad. You could have studied here too."

Suraj rolls his eyes, "you are prepared for everything?"

Chakor nods, "yes, now come."

They left and entered the RM

Raj was silently looking at Suraj, same like Suraj was looking at Raj.

"You know, you can talk." She said and both glared at her.

Chakor didn't mind it...

Epilogue

Suraj was in the hospital he has become a famous neurosurgeon.

Chakor was sitting on the bench outside of the hospital, she was waiting for him.

He is still angry, even after a year he hasn't forgive me. But what else I should had done? I mean it was him, who took Ragini along with him just because he wanted her to focus on her studies. I just obey his wish, I let him fulfil his dream plus I also could end my studies with the support of my family.

Haan my mother took a lot, she accepted my decisions I took for me and Suraj.

She too didn't wanted me to be dependent. With her help I become an independent woman. I have my own small company and made my name.

I'm waiting for him as if it was easy. Come on I had his little copy with me all the time reminding me what I have done and missed.

"Chakor, what are you doing here?" He broke her out of her trance.

Chakor smiles, "I thought to tell you otherwise you might be angry on me."

Suraj confuses, "say?"

Chakor stood up, "I'm pregnant!"

Suraj widen his eyes, "what how, I mean when this happened?"

Chakor laughs, "I was joking. I'm not pregnant."

Suraj signs of relieve, "you mad one. Why you said it."

Chakor looked at him, "to get your attention. Suraj I'm sorry, but today you have made your name as MD Suraj Rajvanshi, I couldn't destroy your dreams. Never!"

Suraj looked at her, "yeah I know and I know I have done everything to make you believe in unreachable, but you hide it and took 9 years it's something I can't forget."

Chakor comes closer and kisses his cheek, "okay I know, but it wasn't easy for me either."

Suraj looked at her, "I know." He places his hand on her shoulder, "I love you."

Chakor smiles, "I love you too. And I want to ask you something."

Suraj looked at her, "okay ask me."

She stood up, "Dear Mr. Suraj Rajvanshi will you marry me?"

Suraj looked at her, all were looking at them, "smart girl. Now I can't deny."

Chakor nods, "yeah you would never make me feel embarrassed."

Suraj pulls her close and kisses her...
