"How did Harley see this and not Alice?" Edward asked, his arms crossed. Bella and Paul had both gone home and now the Cullen's all sat around the living room.
"I've been keeping an eye on Harley ever since she was a baby." Carlisle started grabbing everyone's attention. "I knew her real mother. Makika Thorn, they are from a very powerful tribe, everyone within the tribe is an elemental. Everyone from the tribe can control an element of the earth, some can even control them all. But within the tribe, there are few who can adapt to powers around them." Carlisle told everyone, Harley sitting on the couch under Jasper's arm and Alice's hand holding her daughters.
"Harley is a rare elemental. She can develop and learn how to control all the elements, but she can also adapt to everyone's gifts." Carlisle continued. "This is why she has been such a controlled child, she has developed it from me without knowing. This why she can calm Rosalie down within seconds, its why she gets visions, and its why she knows when we're at her bedroom door before even knocking. She has developed something from all of us, now its up to us to train her."
Everyone sat in silence taking in the information. "Well," Harley started getting up. "I'm cooler than I thought I was." She said walking towards the stairs so she could go to bed.

Harley wiped her sweaty palms on her gown and took a deep breath. She was sat beside her mom and dad, holding her hands. "And now, a few words from our valedictorian Harley Cullen." The principle said getting her attention.
Harley stood up, all the graduates clapping as she walked up onto the stage. She stared out to all of the faces staring back at her, her eyes landing on Paul who sat in a dress shirt and black pants.
"I stayed up for nights trying to figure out what I was going to say to all of you today. But then I realized, this isn't for everyone, this is for us graduates. This is for the people who worked hard for four years to get here.
Some of us are going to go off and be authors, doctors, engineers and probably so much more. When we all graduated eighth grade together we thought it was the best thing to ever happen to us.
But now, now we're adults, and instead of having a pool party, we can go out for drinks and cheers to life long friends. I may not know all of your personally, I may have said Hi to you in the halls or been your partner in a class. But I'm thankful for all of you. Congrats everyone, cheers to life long friends." Harley said, every graduate stood up and cheered, clapping at her speech.
Harley quickly went back to her seat between her parents grabbing their hands again. "You did great." Jasper whispered, Harley looked up to her dad with a large smile. "Thanks dad." She whispered back.

"You did it!" Paul cheered, Harley ran up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, he spun her around kissing her lips. "I'm so proud of you." He whispered to her, Harley smiled and took the cap off her head, wrapping her arms around his neck and bringing his lips down to meet her's again.
The flash of a camera broke the two apart, Alice stood with a happy smile on her face and a camera in her hand.
"Sorry," she said. "I couldn't help myself, you two are so cute together."
